I'd have to say Romeo and Juliet, even though it's a play, I read it in school and it was the only reading I actually paid full attention to.

There is also a couple of E.A. Poe books I liked.

Ender's Game : Orson Scott Card

If you haven't read this (or other books in the series), read them now !!!!

Series? As far as I was aware, Ender's Game was a one-off novel.. :?

Ender's game was the first book in the ender series, followed by

Speaker for the dead

Xenocide

Children of the mind

There is also a sister series, the shadow saga, which comprises of the books

Ender's shadow

Shadow of the Hegemon

Shadow puppets

Shadow of the Giant

Finally, there is a book of short stories and novellas to accompany the series, entitled ' first meetings in the enderverse'

probably my favourites of the very limited amount of books i've read were the northern lights trilogy, which i thought were incredible.

My favorite book is almost unknown, and was written by a man who served as a salvage master in World War II. It's called "No Banners, No Bugles" Best book I've ever read; the guy had real talent. Too bad he never published another book...

When you are learning, you are growing. If you stop learning, you stop growing. If you stop growing, you die. Train hard, eat fried chicken, and take a one-a-day. (And cook that broccoli 'til it's yella and pour cheese all over it)

It was accepted back then and fairly common, so there really is nothing wrong with it, if he did it now a days though, it would be greatly looked down upon, yet still not unheard of.

Superbly written. It was one of those books that I couldn't put down. It got me caught up in the storylinie and the world that Inman lived in. An amazing writer. They put it in film and that was okay. But I prefer the book.

a time to kill - very gripping story

the power of one - absolutly loved this book

And the whole series of john marsdens ellie books

Is the show The Power of One based on the book? I doubt it, not sure if you've heard of it before the show. What's the book about and I'll be able to figure out if the show is based upon the book.

no the power of one is about a young boys struggle in south africa just before ww2, the power of one show is about a hypnotist. no relation watsoeva

I always loved Call of the Wild.

If anyone has read Ender's Game, don't bother reading Speaker for the Dead. It sucks.
