January 13, 200719 yr i wrote to runescape asking them a question: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=351049&start=3100&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight= this is a link to a suggestion for a new bank. there are millions of supportors, I would like to know if this idea is practical enough to be put in the game. (i can not post on foroums because pictures can not be posted) (note the link is from a well known website - no viruses or other nasties there =]) and runescape's reply: Dear Fat Hobbit22, Thank you for your message about bank improvements. Although we appreciate your taking the time to contact us, I'm afraid it's not possible for us to accept suggestions made on third-party websites. Please be assured, though, that our Content Development staff are always working hard on ways to improve every aspect of the game, including the bank. I'm sure your patience will be well-rewarded in time! :) Best wishes for all of your RuneScape activities to come. Yours Sincerely Mod Jon H RuneScape Forum Support does this mean they are thinking of updateing the bank?
January 13, 200719 yr It could be interpreted as that, though he just said "updating the bank" 99 Crafting Blog
January 13, 200719 yr Jagex is always updating, ofcourse there will come banks in the future. That's a pretty stupid question, if I may say so.
January 13, 200719 yr Jagex is always updating, ofcourse there will come banks in the future. That's a pretty stupid question, if I may say so. He doesn't mean more banks, he means updating banks so that its all organized. I think you should change your title, it is kind of misleading. 99 Crafting Blog
January 13, 200719 yr Author Yeh Misleading. THe banks fine. lol i changed the title before u posted this and this is not a thread for whether you think the new bank thingy on here is good or not, im sayin do you think they are going to update the bank layout and stuff?
January 13, 200719 yr They could just mean more space in the future? :P 92/99 Fishing | 119/120 Combat | 92/99 Firemaking | 94/99 Fletching | 1878/1900 Total | 85/85 Slayer | 80/80 Prayer
January 13, 200719 yr Sounds more like they're reassuring you that they're working on it. If they were planning on releasing a new bank system anytime soon, they wouldn't mention the bank as an afterthought when considering 'every aspect of the game'.
January 13, 200719 yr I really hope it does...I'm spending 5 minutes per bank searching my items because I'm extremely unorganized.  I sometimes wish I was ftp, less items to deal with and easier to find them. :ohnoes: :uhh: please don't flame moi :uhh:
January 13, 200719 yr it could just be meaning more bank space (which is still good) it might just be an automated message thoguh which they might tell you theyre updating but not really just to get us to shutup about banks
January 13, 200719 yr i'd a new bank system really but im not sure those messages say a new system is coming anytime soon. Proud Retired Council of The GladiatiorzClick here for our website - 110+ F2P Combat Requirements

Haven't played RuneScape since 12 january 2007 and it feels great :)
January 14, 200719 yr Amazing, ^^. Thats very wily of them. So.. I'm operating on a third party site, gasp. They already updated the bank, now you can use your mouse scroll instead of the side bar.
January 14, 200719 yr Author They already updated the bank, now you can use your mouse scroll instead of the side bar. lol i noticed that a few days ago but i thought it was me just being an idiot and not noticing it was there before :-$
January 14, 200719 yr ambigous of course, but this could hint at it. The only bank update we've seen since rs2 was made was more space and pins...we're due i think Click for mah Blog!- I'm not sure why you would though because i never update it Achieved 99 Thieving 3/10/07-992nd to it
January 14, 200719 yr They could just mean more space in the future? :P That's probably what the mod is talking about when he said "improving the bank" 122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting
January 14, 200719 yr Man that would be really nice. I doubt it will happen though. It would be awfully complicated dealing with f2p...

It REALLY looks like he took the time to read the sender's message and didn't use a template. The mod's have STRICT rules in how they can talk to players, that's why the message sounds so generic. What do you expect? do you expect jagex not to spell check?? Or do you expect them to speak in incomplete sentences? Or to speak casually to you even though you're talking to someone repping their company?? come on now. You're just suspicious of it because of how professional the response looks. Which is ridiculous 100 Combat91 Strength70 Defense82 Attack85 Magic =)

Which is ridiculous true...but it probablyh is just an automated response...and if its not automated...the person just skimmed it, made up some bs...and that is that...
January 14, 200719 yr You're just suspicious of it because of how professional the response looks. Which is ridiculous I'm suspicious because CS gets a lot of mails, is known to send a lot of automated responses and I don't want to get my (and every elses) hopes up too much. I'd love to see them upgrading the bank system, I'd love to hear about it in a response from CS, but this message is just too vague to draw a solid conclusion. Haven't played RuneScape since 12 january 2007 and it feels great :)
January 14, 200719 yr Author lol with all this support it seems so ready for it to be updated.. i mean everyone here is sayin we need better organization so its not a question of if really its when, and that post came out about a year ago... surely thats enough time to go and script it and stuff!
