Remeber in October when Jagex released the new tzhar area with the new onyx stones? I sure do and when i got my hands on a ring of stone and tried it on....nothing amazing except I was a rock and that was it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the future maby they will make it better or have a special effect....At least thats what I'm hoping for.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well, post your thoughts on the ring of stone and dont flame please \

eh, still kind of cool. In the wildy just get out of site and wait for someone. Except you still appear on mini map..

It used to be that if you turned into a stone when you were paralyzed (i.e. snare, entangle, ice spell) and quickly turned back, you would be able to move again. I think that this was a bug, though, and I also think that it might have been changed.

It would be cool if the special effect was you would become a rock and dissapear on the mini map, but it still showed your name when your mouse went accross you

The Ring of Stone is just like a Bird's egg. Useless now but someday (hopefully) Jagex will give them a use.

isnt the purpose of the ring to get you out of well a word begining with "S" stop ppl attack you eventully getting bored and run away? or is it just usless as thought....like the necklace

The rings seem pretty useless :|, I would much rather have an onyx stone be turned into ammy, then enchanted, than sold for 5 mil. but, that's just me. if you would rather be a rock than be 5 mil richer, I'd hold nothing against you. :roll:

Ah, but not just any old rock, a $5 million rock. :wink: Say they were to update the ring, what would they do to it? Cause you to be unable to be attacked? Stat bonuses to it would nice...
