Sure there are some great games with gore (Half life series, Doom series) but there are just as many good games without gore or very little of it.

In the game, you could actually shoot out peoples body parts (i.e. shooting their neack blows their head right off, the elbow blows the arm right off.). January 25, 200719 yr Sorry that I really can't answer, but these are my thoughts. Because I am only 14, I really can't get very violent video games. However, I can state my thoughts on the topic. Kids have issues. Trouble in school, punk kids who push them around, parents who are always (Pick one) drunk, smoking, doing drugs, gone, beating their kids, never helping their kids, or just plain don't care. There are signs that something is wrong, but bad parenting is the real issue. Bad parents don't pay attention, and the pain builds. Eventually, they have so much pain that the only way they can relieve their pain is with violence, which leads to the pain of others. Then, what's the scapegoat? It can't be the parents, could it? What a dumb idea! :roll: Parents, that's the cause. Not all parents, just the bad ones. The ones who don't take the 10 minutes a day to ask "How was school?" or "Is something wrong, dear?". If bad parents were better at their jobs, maybe there isn't a reason that Video Games are a topic in Washington D.C., other than, I don't know, SOMETHING THAT MATTERS! I actually forgot about that game; but yea - definiately up there with the gore. I remember the first time I played it I shot a guys leg off with the shotgun. It never really held my inrest though so I never went back to it. At the time the gore seemed similar to UT where the head would explode if shot with a sniper rifle, etc. And the body would explode when it was hit with rockets and shraple guns and such.

I've played on San Andreas and Doom 3 for short periods ie. 30 mins at friends but not all the way through. 2. What was your first gory game, how old were you 6/7/8 playing on Doom. 3. What do you think when you experience gore in a video game Either, 'awesome' (blood splatting on the walls after a headshot) or 'Too much' (violence with chainsaws). 4. If the stuff portrayed is what I would call 'sick', then I find it disturbing and I'll stop playing. By sick I mean the really senseless, cruel and unnessecary violence most often found in horror games. Yeah i know what you mean but it depends really. say dead rising...its running around in a mall using anything you can as a weapon you gotta expect gore but its not really horror is more weak gore and so on but with doom it goes ott within a few minutes of game play Tif 360 MGC Leaderboard
