Which i'm buying from my aunt for ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã2,000 [Parents are paying 1 grand, I also need to pay for lessons and insurance -.-] So, I know things like it's background, If it's had any problems, Which it hasn't. January 28, 200719 yr As cool as a classic mini would be, a Lupo is sadly the much more obvious choice. Better safety figures and reliability. Performance is mediocre but so is performance in most cars at that price range. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
January 28, 200719 yr Lupo. Expect insurance to be very high if you're going to be the policyholder just after you've passed. It is also highly dependent on where you live - for example just after I passed my test a few years ago it was ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã1250 for me to be the policyholder on a 1.8l Volvo saloon in a quiet area, but it was ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã2500 for my friend to be the policyholder on a 1.1l Fiesta in a big city.

January 30, 200719 yr Smart car. I know its not on your list, but they are the coolest cars ever :D They are actually very safe too. You can hit a concrete wall going 70 MPH, and walk out of the car with maybe a scratch. They are a tad expensive, but it's worth it in the long run. But honestly, I'd get the Mini. We just sold our New mini, to buy our Corvette / Infiniti FX35, but I loved that car. And the old ones are just as fun. Before you buy it, find a mechanic near the sellers area, and tell him to take it there, and have the mechanic call you and tell you what's up with the car. Just a tip. ;) My Farewell thread. January 30, 200719 yr When picking a car, go for smaller size and power. That way, your insurance bill wont be so bad. I had a choice between a crappy Saturn and a 68' Mustang for my first car.
