Teamspeak

Featured Replies

Does anyone use teamspeak to talk to other players online?

is teamspeak like a downloadable software?

and can you use it through RuneScape?

I've heard a little about this. Could you explain it to us a little more please?

perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is another

AMEN!

Just to throw it out there, Teamspeak sucks in comparison to Ventrilo. The quality on ventrilo is just so much better.

Teamspeak and Ventrilo are voice programs, use a headset with a mic and you can talk to other people on the internet. For Runescape it would be good for team pking and maybe things like Castle Wars with friends or something that requires alot of teamwork.

Personally I don't use it with Runescape, but when I play Guild Wars, Ventrilo is a HUGE part of that.

I have both just cause different people prefer the different programs, Ventrilo is nicer tho.

I have used Ventrilo for CS (dont play anymore) and one of my old clans used it a little. My newer clan uses TeamSpeak a lot so I guess i'll be on there.

lol me and friends do rs prank phone calls it and we use it to pk \'

Don't use either. Don't have a mic.

Quit RuneScape :)

Yes, I've heard about it. You use a headset and a microphone to talk to other players, handy for Castle Wars, PC, and clan wars/pking etc. A lot of clans use TS I believe. Useful instead of PMing because it will take time for the user to find out the message is there, instead they can hear (their eyes are busy on the fight).

AS they've said, it's an alternative form of communication. Keeps your hands free.

and sometimes just while msning but never during runescape dont know why problalby because i dont know any runescapers wtih TS

I personally don't use Ventrillo or Teamspeak as I don't really pk much any more and am not in a clan. I use Skype though to talk to my friends while doing other stuff.

I should look into this... Looks like fun and I have a whole bunch of friends I know outside of Runescape so we could do it. I've never used Teamspeak or Vent for anything before.

If you go there good things will transpire.

They should make a TIF teamspeak or vertello channel, then I might get it ::'

Expand your mind.

Should be in help and advice.

I prefer Ventrilo, It is WAY better voice quality wise. ALL the high lvl clans (DI, TD) use Vent or TS.

Yes, it would be really cool to talk to rs buddies on ventrilo. We might discover that some guy who says hes 17 is more like 7 :shame:
