And all the World Wonders.

Arghhh Daan... now you'll set her off. >.<

NEVER use a term which could be considered sexist while issy is about, lol

This time... (lol) it's not about being sexist. It's about being compared to a six-inch-high fabric model of a toy stuffed with cotton wool with no character, family, freewill or moral code! :P

Or Dolly Parton :XD:

The circle thing hanging off the hotel in Dubai is actually a tennis court, pro tennis players stay there often and sometimes fool around and try to hit passing by boats, or get tennis balls onto the street. :-w

Falling Water by Frank Lloyd Wright

you beat me to it...

but lets think...The Great Pyramids at Giza (Pyramid of Khufu, Menkaure, and Khefre)

Khufu's Pyramid(Great Pyramid): 145.75 m (481 ft) high. Over the years, it lost 10 m (30 ft) off its top. It ranked as the tallest structure on Earth for more than 43 centuries.

The three of them are within one thousandth of a degree off from being pefectly square at the base. They also align exactly with the three stars on the constellation Orion's belt.

Plus the Sphinx.

It's not. They did turn it into a tennis field for an exhibition match once, but in reality it is just a landing spot for helicopters...

P.S: Issy is a doll with no family or moral code.

I hope you know I'm deeply offended.

This is the Scallop sculpture on Aldeburgh beach. If you look at it from one way it's a scallop and if you look from another way it looks like a dolphin. It has the words 'I hear those voices that will not be drowned' inscribed along the edges. It's a quote from Benjamin Britten's opera, Peter Grimes, which was set in Aldeburgh.

The sony center in Potsdamer Platz, Berlin, Is pretty awesome:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/50/SonyCenterAtNight.jpg

The roof is not actualy conical but shaped along the contours of Mount Fuji (Or so I was told by a German girl I was with there...seemed slightly unlikley at the time, but I could see that teh top of the cone looked slightly "off-set".) It was pretty awesome, and I remeber watching "Thank you for smoking" in the cinestar and then going to the awesome seesaws that were about 20 ft long (no joke)...I can't find any pictures of them but there were about 5 sideby side. A nice building in an awesome position with some of the best public transport in the world to get you there.

There is also a large tower in the centre of Berlin, the Fernsehturm:

It is the third tallest building in the world, built on the isntructions of Walter Ulbricht, and called either Ulbricht's last erection or Rache des Papstes, the pope's revenge, because of the way the light forms a cross when it hits this old piece of communist architecture.

In my opinion it has to be the Pyramids, how people with such basic technology and tools can create a structure like that which is nearly geometrically perfect is mind-boggling.

The Taj Mahal is also up there in my opinion.

What about the Forbidden City(The imperial palace) in China? When I was there our guide said it took something like 1 million skilled workers like 5-8 years to build. I forget the exact number.

What was amazing about it is from a distance it looks elaborate and ornamented but even when you get up close there are intricate carvings and paintings over everything. Even the steps the empower used are giant stone carvings. It is pretty amazing. The scale is MASSIVE. I haven't been to Europe yet but I have a feeling part of me is going to be thinking pfft... when I see the largest European Castles after seeing the fortifications in China.

Winged victory

The artist purposely made it without the head and arms. Perhaps a puzzle in artwork?

[hide=]

tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :(
But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.
That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.

Apparently a lot of people say it. I own.
