Spicer001
I was sitting eating dinner last night, wacthing BBC1 (arguably the united kindom's biggest T.V. channel, for all you americans), and a quiz show was on. "Junior mastermind", a show in short about kids entering, and answering a round on a specialist subject, and then a round of general knowledge. It had reached the general knowledge, and having the massive ego I have, I was answering them all just to brag to my brother. But one of the only questions I didn't know, was actually this : "In the popular game, runescape, what is the name of the chef who is named after the first thing he cooked?" Well if I didn't have a clue, this poor kid didn't, who failed it. But is runescape getting too big? I was laughing so hard when the question came up, thinking who in their right mind would know, as much more popular games had never been mentioned before. My brother being the idiot he is, told me Jagex must have bribed them to include it to get more publicity, lol. Anyway, the point of the topic, how big do you think Runescape is now, as I've seen topics about them selling manuals to the game in school magazines, and on rsc there was a topic of a runescape stall at a work convention. Discuss. By the way, the answer was burnt meat. I'm guessing its the troll? We were sitting down at the table, and when that question came up everyone looked at me  And i didn't know the answer
Dazzuh
Woot! Now we're gonna see more stuck-up brainbelging ponses around Runescape! :D I do find it quite good that Runescape is being advertised (kind of) on BBC1. But shouldn't it be on better programs like teletubbies? Currently not active on RuneScape.
whiteboy1102
I thought trolls were named after the sound the thing they ate made so the troll named Dad ate a kid who screamed "Dad!!" and for My Arm the dude screamed " My arm!!!!" :-k And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. Will H
I think there is something about that in the KB, hang on... Well, I found this: Dad In a race noted for its physical size, Dad is among the largest. He wields a massive tree trunk that he manages to use with surprising dexterity. He was named so oddly because he was named for the first thing he tried to eat. You can only assume that he succeeded at some point. Dad can be found pummelling puny humans in the arena. And heres the proof of the question: Burntmeat Burntmeat is the chief chef of the Troll Stronghold, and was named for the first food he tried to cook. It's the mark of a troll's tastes that he has risen from there to his current position. Burntmeat can be found tinkering with various stews in the kitchen. Presumadly trolls such as Ug, Arrg and Aga and others are named after the noises they made when eating the first thing they ate. ~ W ~
deciever2
Kind of interesting; the only mmo i've seen mentioned on a game show was WoW on (teens) Jeopardy once. Myweponsg00d
Well, the question is wrong, Burntmeat isn't named on what he cooked first, but what he ate first. Just as "My arm" in the quest: my arms big adventure :P ( I really liked that one) he cooked it and then tried to eat it. I think it's awsome that runescape is becoming popular cult in england to the point of getting asked as trivia questions are you sure he cooked it first? Yes, after all it's his "specialty" The first thing you ate doesn't have to be the first thing you cooked. It seems rather unlogic that a just born baby would cook food and eat it (eat meat without teeth?? Well maybe baby trolls already have teeth when they are born :-k ) Maybe he ate the burnt meat his father made him, and was inspired for the rest of his life? :P It is just one of the great questions in life: What's there after death? Why are we here? Was burnt meat realy the first thing Burntmeat cooked? We just might never know. You could message customer support, but I dont think customer support is meant for that I think the big question here is: why do we all care so much about Burntmeat? Need assistance in any of these skills? PM me in game, my private chat is always ON

mojo477
They probably did pay them to include that question, but it isn't illegal, it's product placement. For example, in a super man movie he knocks over a coca cola truck. They payed for that to be in there. im sure it was a Marlboro the cigarette company truck also they paid to have the baby smoking a cigar in the looney toon stuff Mojo477 has had to quit members so i need friends to talk to on my pure Lived4devil so please add her"The elves having helped create the crystal saw is like Greenpeace having helped create a nuclear seal skinner"
