The Black Hole-Pics wanted!

A while back, in the "good ol' days" of Runescape, Thordur the dwarf sold disks to players. The disks, called Disks of Returning, were used to return from the black hole. Since I was not playing Runescape at the time, I was wondering If anyone has any pictures of what the black hole looked like, or just even what Thordur looked like. Thanks. :D

Written descriptions are good too!

To the topic poster :

The black hole was just a black area of the map (that you see when going near borders)

You were teleported in it and couldnt move anywhere, nothing to see either.

Spinning the disk simply teleported you back to the mapped area.

Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07.

I know what being in a black space is like, as I've been in it as a glitch. However, could you see people in it, or talk to others in it? Could you see banned characters stuck there?

You could see and talk to other characters that were doing the black hole experience. So, only people that had bought a disk and took the ride. You could not walk anywhere.

A banned person was placed in an empty area away from the black hole , so you could not see, or talk to them.

(it's not a punishment if you can talk to people)

Thanks for clearing that up. Now I'll sit back and wait for a pack rat who never deletes his/her images :D .

i think it was that real black hole was in other coords and experiment was in other coords...and i think if you were stuck in fake black hole, you was able to ask friend come there to trade you disk or tele runes.

i was in blackhole first, forced by moderator...then invited by moderator and then just for fun with friend...so 3 times total.

No, banned people were not in the black hole experience, so you couldn't see them. You could only see normal players that took the trip, and yes you could trade them. Many people had to make noob accounts to get out after they lost their disk.

Not my web site, ok? This is an old pic of the black hole which was originally used as punishment or perm ban of players. People got so curious about it that they made chars just to abuse rules and get banned so they could see the black hole so Jagex made the black hole experience so that people could see it without getting into a lot of trouble. I used it back in the day for taking stat pics, it was good for screenies.
