If you claim the number of 50% the copied article below is what you are claiming which is not all direct money going to war. A lot of these are indirect costs. As to 3% of taxes go to education... I assume you are talking about federal tax dollars... I find this kinda funny because the cost of education is payed for by STATE tax dollars so quoting federal education dollars is kinda pointless and very manipulative to the people of this forum. I was glancing over some articles and the state of Indiana spends over 50% of their budget on education each year. I'm sure you will find that most states spend a large percentage of their budgets on education. Religion is too dangerous. It makes people think they're something they're not and they're somehow special, and they think that life on Earth matters little when there's a "better" life elsewhere. Life to them is less precious because death is not final, which it most obviously is. The human race is nothing but potential. I there was one religon it should be budhism..I think the most peacfuls of religons.... Muslims need to to adapt to new rules etc..The Qu ran rules were made thousands of years ago and some of them should not apply today. I totally agree that you can make fun of any other religion but not islam...thats the only thing that ticks me off They come over here expecting us to build em mosques, bring is this law which we will never do and also things like giving them muslim schools If they come over to england for a better life they should respect our values and laws and not theirs...If went over to a muslim state I highly doubt they would build us churches and christain schools etc

The Islamic law is very black and white and it is followed to the letter by most Islamic countries. If you are a thief, you will have your hand or foot amputated. If you commit adultery, you will be stoned to death. It isn't misinformed extremists carrying out these practises, it is Governments and they are doing what it says in the Qu'ran (or it might be the Hadith [sayings of the prophet] or the Sunnah [actions of the prophet].
