AlexTeHowneR
Um, Switzerland is much more powerful than the US when it comes to military technology. Bigger isn't always better, in this case the most technologically advanced is, which is Switzerland. Are you saying Swiss would win in a war because they have better DEFENSES? Only one country could ever even challenge the US, and thats Russia The Vietnamese had a small and badly equipped military but they drove you out of Vietnam, the Afghan's were badly equipped, badly organised and smaller than the Russians but they won. On top of that we (the coalition) are eventually going to be pulled out of Iraq despite being so well equipped. What Im saying is that any army can be beaten regardless of how well equipped they are or how many soldiers they have. I thought the Russians and Chinese had helped the Vietnamese in that war? Jimmyd17
In my opinion and experience Canada and Sweden are the top. CAnada because it's not a cultural melting pot. I say not because their IS cultural diversity in Canada. We don't need to strive to be the same everyone (or most everyone) is accepted as they are. The same deal with Sweden when I have been there for a coupel summers I noticed the same deal. Both countries are economically stable, have good access to essential services and if I might add, in the 2006 winter games Sweden and Canada were voted as having the most attractive athletes respectively by the athletes taking part in the games. So to summarize, we look good, we have $$$, and we have a high acceptance of alternative/different cultures. :
Mr_Putter
As other have said, like Canada all Scandinavian countries, but some of the wealthier Asian countries are catching up at a remarkable rate. Obivously Japan is already caught up or surpassed many other countries, but other's aren't doing that bad either.
drgnslyer_15
Obesity as a cause of mortality Obesity per capita EDIT: typo :D BMI is a horrible horrible judge. Like I said in the other thread: I am 60 lbs overweight according to BMI. But 40 pounds of that is muscle. That leaves only 20 pounds of fat, which for my BMI is almost insignifigant (and with proper wardrobe choices not even noticable). Hell, I have absolutely no problem walking around without a shirt.BMI is rediculous according to that for my height i should be like 174lbs at a max healthy weight. When i was 174lbs i looked like i was a skeleton not very healthy looking so i put on some weight at around 190lbs in better shape than 174lbs and i look healthy not like the wind can blow me away or i'll break in two if someone bumps me... RSN: drgnslyer15 15 skills 90+ - 10 skills 99 - 200m+ total exp
Viktorkrum77
[*:3iu3x3vs]Australia [*:3iu3x3vs]Svalbard [*:3iu3x3vs]New Zealand [*:3iu3x3vs]Finland [*:3iu3x3vs]Switzerland Pick one of those :) Safest possible environments especially if you want to have a family in the stablest possible countries. They're also very neutral (on the slight exception of Australia), so they are highly unlikely targets for terrorist attacks or wars. The USA is a very good country to live in, considering all the places you could live in, but it's in no way the best. If you're not thinking emotionally that is. USA is a prime target for terrorists and has been attacked by terrorists. It's engaged in wars and has a currency that's not exactly going up in value. It's average or sub-average in educating it's citizens. Well, by Svalbard you mean Norway. And I wouldn't call safe, because my favorite animal, Polar Bears, inhabit that archipelago. :P Me doing staff.

remoteman
It's funny that only people that live in Australia think that it is the best, when really, it is one of them. Apart from the government as previously mentioned, it's grand. Beltran your statement is ridiculous, as if u wouldn't be comfortable living in other places, Australia/New Zealand in particular as we are technologically developed, have a decent ecomony considering out size, english speaking, yada yada... But there are plenty of other awesome countries. "A disbelief in magic can force some poor souls into believing in authority and business"

Try
Well any of the Scandinavian countries would do. Or Canada. Oh wait, I think Iceland would be a cool and beautiful place to live in, don't think anyone mentioned it yet.
