I am lvl 76 combat and i do lvl 3 clue scrolls. I was killed by a sara mage earlier and i was wondering what the best way to kill them is.

 

 

 

I cant hold d scimmi but i have a dds d mace dragon battle axe and a d long.

 

 

 

I always range the sara mage while protecting from his magic attack. In most areas there is a safe spot you can find. Put on run, spec attack and mage protect and then dig. Run several steps away and range him - you can usually get him stuck so you maintain a good ranging distance.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ALWAYS take an antipoison because he can poison you easily with his dds if he gets in a few swipes before you find a spot from which to range. :)

I was in a spot where i couldnt range him though

i use prot mele and wear d hide n dds spec him , its easy he doesnt normally hit if u got d hide :D

I tend to do the opposite, I wear melee armour while protecting from mage (erm, well most of the time I go lightweight and wear only a rune chain + saradomin book) - and use my dds spec to take him out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

From what I know, both above ways work well. Keep in mind to bring antipoison, and food that heal much in one bite - sometimes he get lucky and hit hard even on me who am 99 all combat skills. And yes, I died to him first time I met him, so dont feel bad about that :) - it's called learning from experience ;)

If you're at your wits end, just poison him, sidestep and wait for him to get poisoned to death.

Youre best bet woujld most likely be to range him, if that isn't possible melee and protect

Me too. Maybe add a couple of lobbies.

Yesterday I got one.. i Just used protect from magic.. and killed it.. he kept hitting 0's with his Dragon dagger.. im 82 combat

i used to range him with rune arrows and ring recoil when i hadn't lvl 43 pray yet

prayer....
