Hi, I wrote this guide myself and is posted on a few community forums. Please don't copy it.

First of all I would like to say to get access to the biggest range of sellers use the Official Runescape Forums found by clicking the Forums link on the Runescape Home page.

VIALS

To collect vials there are 5 ways:

- Buy off players - Expensive

- Buy from shop in Ardougne - Always out due to merchants.

Route to General store

- Make via crafting - must collect supplies to be good enough.

-Buy in shilo Village.

Route from Shilo Bank

Run from Rouges Den to the vial shop in taverly get vials, run outside and fill these vials up with the fountain the with a gaming necklace tele to burthorpe Castle, run to Rouges Den and repeat. Fairly fast method with the gaming necklace, no space taken up due to new operate feature.

Route:

RED: Run from the bank to the shop.

YELLOW: Where you go to fill your vials.

GREEN: Where you go from your teleport.

SECRET WAY

-Who ever thought the farming shop north of Catherby is useless? Me until I discovered that it stocks vials....In a filled form. So what you do is get your money out, head on up, buy up and walk to bank while emptying the vials! Its a cinche!

Route:

You can also do this at the Ardy Farming shop and Morytania shop. To do the Morytania shop quickly equip a ring of duelling and get out a ectophial. Ecto to the Ectofuntus and run west to the shop, buy the Cures and tele to Castle Wars.

HERBS

The ways to get herbs are:

- Collect from Chaos Druids.

- Buy from other players - Good for low level herbs because of cheapness.

-Herb merchant and use the herbs you need while selling off the rest.

- Grown your own seeds via Farming. You cansave alot of money via this, it can even be a good way to make money if you buy the seeds cheap and sell the herbs off. For example buy Ranarr seeds 20K each and you get a harvest of say 6 Herbs. 6 x 7 = 42K! Doubled your money right there or saved yourself alot of money. You can do this with any herb you want, but only if you have the correct farming level. (Thanks to Mamong for the suggestion ;)

SECONDS

To get seconds there are 2 things you can do.

- Buy from other players.

- Collect Using my 2nds guide.

2ND COLLECTING

Eyes of Newt - Run from pest control bank or draynor village to the rune shop in Port Sarim. Buy then run/Tele back. Repeat. I'f you want to do a bit of duel skill training here you can Try levelling Runecrafting while buying newts. How? Get an Air tiara/talisman and 28/27 normall/pure ess and go from fally bank to air altar, craft the airs then go buy the newts and bank and repeat. Good for Runecrafting but does kinda slow the buying process down.

Route

Unicorn Horns - Run to lv 19-21 wildy at the Portal place. Kill black unicorns. Tele to Edgeville via Ancients or Glory.

Route:

You can also collect unicorn horns from next to catherby...plants some vegetables and keep an eye on them whilst you pwn the unicorns...and there no pkers and bank close by!

Limpwurt Root - Grow via farming or kill hill giants or Hobogoblins for them. Also Cockatrice drop Limpwurt roots ALOT. Remember your mirror shield guys :thumbsup:

Red Spiders Eggs - Collect in Varrock sewers or under edge in wildy lv 3-4.

Chocolate dust - Buy from shops in either Bar form or dust form. Shops in Nardah or From the Grand Tree. Also If you have completed a Decent amount of Recipe For Disaster you can buy from the chest under >Buy Food

White Berries - From what I know these can be collected in Lleyta. Also there are respawns in dragon Island in around level 40 wilderness. You Can try Annarkarl Teleport on Ghorrock Teleport to the wildy and walk there or try teleporting with Wilderness Portals. After you have collected you can then glory from 30 wilderness. Also can be grown via farming. 59 farming required.

Toads Legs - Go North west of the grand tree to area with lots of frogs. Pick up frogs and tear off legs. Bank at Grand Tree.

Route:

Snape grass - Collect either at Hobogoblins in Rimmington or At Waterbirth Island.

To collect off Waterbirth Island this is the method I would use. Firstly Change your house to Relleka. Then equip a duelling Ring and have a House Teleport Tab/tabs on you. Teleport to your house, go out, run to, take the boat to Waterbirth Island and collect. Tele to Cwars and repeat. Can also be dont with Glory Teleports.

Mort Myer Fungi - Collect from casting bloom with a silver sickle ( near rotting logs. Nature spirit quest required. No respawn

Ground Blue Dragon Scale - Collect from blue dragons area in taverly dungeon. Unknown respawn.

Wine of Zamorak - Collect from Chaos Temple near Lv 1 wildy and which is near Goblin Village.

Potato Cactus - Collect In the Kalphite Soldier lair In Kalphite dungeon.

Jangerberries - Collected on Ogre island near Yanille. Need to take tree swings over to Ogres. Also grown with farming. 48 farming required.

Crushed Birds Nest - Collect nests that fall out of trees while cutting them and crush with mortar and pestle.

Fight the giant mole(You can probably beat him with 70 cbt and 43 prayer), he drops a mole claw and 1-3 mole skins. Exchange each of these to Wyson the Gardener and he'll give you a birds' nest with seeds in it for each skin/claw you give him!

Either buy up alot of guams, vials and Newts to stay till 26.

OR

Do every new potion you can until level 26.

I would suggest the Guam/Attack Potion method until 26 because its easy, not confusing and cheap!

Collecting your own herbs here is actually fun, and fun knowing you made your own potions, and the potions can stack up quickly in your bank.

Level 26 - 45

At level 26 you can start to make energy potions. These are easy to make, 2nds are easy to collect and its kindaaaaa cheap..... The problem is selling off your potions. No-one really buys energy pots in Bulk and you still lose money ;( Sorry guys.

At 38 Herblore you can Make prayer potions. While these are easier to sell off their still pretty hard to sell in bulk.

I'd say but Rannars 7kea. 6-6.5kea IF you can find sellers. Good luck with that though

You can make any potion you like really. Try collecting your own herbs again here. Make any potion you like for your own use.

LeVeL 45 to Beyond!!

There are MANY ways you can go from here. I'll list some common chosed ways.

45+ - Buy Irit leaves and collect own vials and 2nds. Make potions and sell. Pretty hard to sell but keep persevering.

52+ - If you have money to BURN Here I would suggest Super Energies. Buy Avantoe around 1-1.5kea each and Collect/Buy your own Mort Myre Fungi. Collect/Buy own vials. You can sell off the Super energies around 2K each :thumbsup:

55+ - Super Strength Potions Are a Pretty cool choice here If you have money to burn again. Kuarms @ 4-4.3K each, Limps 700-1K each and collect/Buy own vials. Sell Super Strength Potions Edge world 6/9/18 any other world for around 4-5K each.

Also try collecting your own Kwuarm + other herbs. You can actually make money here by making pots with your herbs and selling them. It's just slooow exp :XD:

63+ - Super Restore Potions are a pretty neat way to gain those needed herblore levels. Buy Snapdragons 7-8K Each and Buy/Collect own Red Spider Eggs and Vials

66+ - Super Sets. Now I am not very experienced in ways of Super setting but here what I think is done. You buy all the needed herbs that is

Irit

Kwuarm

Cadantine

and Buy/Collect all the needed 2nds

Eye of Newt

Limpwurt Root

White Berries.

And get your own Vials/Buy vials and then you make Super Attack, Strength and Defence. You can then sell these super sets for around 9-11kea, depends on Supply/Demand. I've even seen super sets go for 20K each in Small amounts!

66+ - From here on there are a Wealth of other ways to level Herblore.

Anti-Firebreath Potions

Ranging Potions

Magic Potions

Saradomin Brews

Super (P++) Weapon Poisons.

You guys can Investigate them yourselves, because by this Level you won't be needing any silly guides help :

The guide isn't too bad. Pics are there and well written, fairly good grammar.

One disappointment, not ONCE did you mention you could grow your own herbs. It is very cheap. Irits for example. Irit seeds sell for 2k ea, and you will get at least 5 irits per seed, saves you money. Ranarr seeds are good and another way to lvl Herblore as well.

How?? It's a way to obtain the herbs to use in herblore. I could say your method of merchanting herbs then buying herbs is more merchanting than herblore and heck, killing chaos druids is more combat then herblore...

And you can get Chocolate dust from just going to the RFD chest, buy as many chocolate bars. Grind 'em up with your pestle and mortar, and by then the chest will be full of chocolate bars.

no one realizes that i think the best way to get chocolate bars is frrom the RFD chest, there's always 10+ in there, add thatt buddy!

Sorry man, but only a 5/10 vote from me. You are missing some of the best herblore information in the game.

Vials: Purchasing them in Mort`myr(sp?) general store is very fast, and there is always 100 of them in stock. Bank in Burg De Rott and you can even collect faster than Ardo, because of the large stock there.

Herbs: You neglected to mention Flesh crawlers in the Stronghold of Security. These monsters have the best herb drop in the game. Chaos druids do drop herbs, but 25% of them are guams and merrintils. The flesh crawlers not only drop more of them, they drop better herbs.

Seconds: Eyes of newt. Banking in Fally is faster. This is also a great opportunity for cross training. Wear an air tiarra, and craft airs on the way down and buy eyes of newt on the way up. Sure you are missing out on 1 less eye of newt (or more if you have pouches), but the rc exp and the airs adds up very fast.

Limps - These are easiest to buy on f2p worlds. Trade a str pot for 2 limps. Hobgoblins also have a very good drop rate, and are much faster than hill giants.

Edgar`s Ruse has a bonus of over 10k herblore xp. Very nice when you are going for ledgends herblore.

Shades of Mort`Meyr. This allows you to make serum 207, one of the fastest ways to get herblore xp in the game. It takes tarromin and ash as the second. Since ash is free allover, and tarromin is easy to get, this is a great way to train herblore, even in the 50s. When used on afflicted, you also get tarromin in return for healing them.

Limps: Sure you can buy but my guides more about collecting Limps, and trust me Cockatrice are GREAT for limps. Put your house in RElleka and your all good with cammy teles or duel rings, etc.

Collecting white berries in Lleyta takes MEP though.

That is totally true about ranars and p pots lately. Nearly impossible to make a fast sale at 7k, although buying a ranar seed for 20k is a decent way to make a profit. I am averaging 7 weeds per seed now, so that is 45,500 per seed when sold at 6,500 each.

you can also ask the butler to take them to the bank

It's pretty good. But I still have to find a better herblore guide then the "herblore help" on salmoneus' site. That one is better IMO, more pics etc.

1 thing to note for second ingredient snapes.

It is much faster with lunar magicks, though you will need quite some amount of astrals and laws. Prepare waterbirth and moonclan teleport (at least 72 mage) Wield mud if you have it! Otherwise wield lava/earth since more earth runes are used. You should have 25 slots for snapes if you have mud (24 if earth/lava), so just tele to waterbirth, collect and teleback to moonclan, you'll appear right outside the city gates. Don't forget seal of passage though :wink:

Amazing guide, especially the vial part. I would have never thought of that. I'll definately use this for the herbs I get from throne of miscellania. 9.7/10! :thumbsup:
