  1. Coconuts have some kind of natural laxative in them, if you ate a bunch of those you'd be under-weight because you'd spend 20 or so hours a day defacating your brains out. Not sure about pineapples, though. :-k
  2. Haha! I said that! In a completely different thread, but it feels good to be quoted on something. \ It was more appropriate for this situation, seriously. x__x I usually try to stay out of these kinds of arguments, because I don't like to flame people, and I like being flamed even less. But it's so ... damn ... infuriating ... when you try and try and try to explain a simple thing to people, and they just refuse to understand. I'm not talking about anyone specifically, it's just some of these people are so adverse to learning anything new that it would be a half-truth to call them anything but stupid.
  3. Maybe that was a poor choice of words. You mean base as in: 2. a fundamental principle or groundwork; foundation; basis (Dictionary.com -- Base) I mean base as in: 1. evidence sufficient to establish a thing as true, or to produce belief in its truth (Dictionary.com -- Proof) So maybe I should've said proofless, not baseless. But yes, I do believe that religion is pretty much completely devoid of logic. I was raised in a Christian family, so I really do have a well defined, deep understanding of that particular religion. I just think it's utter rubbish. I stuck to it when I was younger, but now that I'm old enough and know enough to make my own decisions, I've decided that evolution makes more sense than creationism, so yeah.
  4. Heheh .. heh .. heheheh.
  5. *Exhale* *Inhale* This is just like certain black people thinking that only white people can be racist. A black man hating white people doesn't seem like racism to him for some reason. Well, it seems like everyone in this place thinks that: A. All atheists are well educated. B. All Christians are stupid and prejudiced. Bzzzzzzzzz ... Atheism is a choice in the favor of logic, over baseless belief. When you post a thread like this you've thrown logic out the window. All that's left is the hard, crunchy undercoating that no amount of chocolate syrup can cover up.
  6. [hide] A example of a person who says that if you don't follow Jesus Christ, you'll go to hell. He/She didn't even put up any points, or anything to support what she said. (BTW I don't read the bible, but I know some of the stuff the Christians always point out) 1. I see no prove that Jesus Christ is real, How the hell can God have you know what with mary (whatever that girl is). To make a baby needs two pairs of genetics from the parents, how can god, he almighty and powerful one, have genetics if hes not human. 2. Look at what believing in the bible has done, On 20/20 it said that this one woman had dreams that Jesus Christ talked to her and said that her 3 babys would become gay, so she killed and drowned them all to save them from going to hell. I thought that killing someone is against Christ, and I thought that the bible sayed "if you hate your family" or something like that, "you cannot be my disciple" Now I see that she wanted to save them, but she just killed her sons! And for what reason, this dream she got that isn't even real, and she didn't even know if her babys would even become gay. And If they did, whats wrong with that? They grew up like that And they didn't have a Choice. 3. The Christians say that you have a choice to be gay or not. What the hell is up with that?? They where born that way and They didn't have a choice, Their are adults who say that when they were little kids, they were interested in stuff that their opposite gender would normally like, and when they were little they have no idea what gay or straight was. So how could they have made a choice? What I think about is why people believe what they believe, and Christians aren't giving me any reasons except total BS. This faith has been burned in their mind, and they don't even have any reasons to believe in it You can also type in "Christian Ignorance" and find some interesting videos. And if your a Christian, and your going to reply to this please give me some reasons why you think I'm wrong, good reasons. And if your just going to say that I'm just some dum (wagon) who belongs in the rubbish bin, please just don't say it at all. [/hide] Well, I could sit and poke holes in everything you said, but it'd just be too easy, now wouldn't it? Ahhhhhh ... where's the quote I'm looking for ...
  7. My AIM name is - Kashi4President - I don't use it very often, but you may catch me on sometimes.
  8. It's not "The Government". It's just our society. If you can't understand that without further explanation, don't bother trying.

Ah, I was gone for a few days and this thread seems to have flourished in my absence. A debate isn't any fun when both sides agree with each other.
  10. 5/10. Ionno'. It's lacking something. :-k
  11. 2/10. Do you mean "RPG" like "Role playing game" or "Rocket propelled grenade"?

Well, so far all the responses have been in the order of "It's a personal choice, I don't see anything wrong with it" and all that, but, well ... Most churches are still in service right now. :-w So give it a few hours, I want the religious fanatics to have their say too.

In a way, knowledge is a physical thing. It is created, and has life, in a way. Basically, knowledge exists, and therefore the study of knowledge should be considered a sub-category of the study of existence. The same doesn't work the other way around. I tend to side with Aristotle, yeah.

What are your opinions? Do you think it's wrong, immoral, not a big deal? Disappointing, even? The motivation to make this thread comes from this one, but since pre-marital sex wasn't the original point of that thread, and since everyone clearly found it to be such an interesting topic, I thought it deserved a thread of its own. How do you think having sex before marriage affects the individuals involved? Or the relationship between the two (three? :) ) persons actually doing it*? Do you think that anyone who has sex before marriage is doomed to an eternity amongst the fire eating demons in Hell? If so, please tell us, all opinions are valid here. *Probably a poor choice of words, but ...
  15. Okay, this has become a big enough thing that I think it deserves its own thread. And so I shall make one accordingly.
  16. Okay, in an infinite universe, with infinite possibilities, you're probably right. Somebody would be affected in the end. However, in the universe I've created with this scenario, everything in the world stays exactly the same, except for these people die and you're a certain amount of money richer. What I want to know is, how much money would it take for you to cooperate with the terrorists? Or like I said, if you can't be bought, just say so.
  17. Cough?
  18. Mostly I space out at Hellhounds. Occasionally I'll get one when I'm minding my own business (Green Dragons, Greater Demons, etc.), but when I go out trying to get a clue, I go to Hellhounds. Clues are the only things Hellhounds drop anyway, besides bones, which somehow makes it easier when you go 100 at a time without a clue. Most of the monsters you get from the Lv100+ Slayer Master drop clue scrolls, so if I'm slaying I'll usually get one.

Those are the same people who shout 'NOOB!' at you when you either: A. Teleport from the Wilderness. B. Get killed by that person. I know the best thing to do is ignore them, but really every time it happens to me I just want to throw them into the pits of Hell/Sheol/Hades/Jahannam/etc. and let their flesh melt from the bones. Of course, that's the kind of reaction they're trying elicit. An angry person is less focused, and less likely to make a fatal mistake when PKing. If you're minding your own business in the Wilderness (runite mining, Green Dragon killing) and someone tries to PK you, then yells "Safer!" at you when you keep your HP above 70, then that person cannot be forgiven. If you're walking around world 18, trying to PK or pick a fight, and then a person calls you a safer when you always keep your HP above 75%, it's a little more understandable then. When a person eats and eats and eats, then teleports when they're out of food, I imagine that's frustrating for the would-be PKer. I myself, when I do PK (rarely) am usually the type to run up at a person once their HP is low and let off a few special attacks. Sometimes I get lucky and get a nice little death pile, most of the time I don't and I get called a noob, which I get, because when I act like that I am being a noob.
  20. Well, if it makes you feel any better, I did the same thing two years ago or so, with a person in Seer's Village using the same scam. I only gave him a glory amulet before I reported him, though, but I guess I'm just as bad. Maybe I'm yelling at myself, as well as you.
  21. Well, when you say dying, do you mean dying of their own accord, or maybe you were the one who caused them to die? Best thing I ever picked up from a death pile was an Obsidian Shield, from someone at the Tz-Haar area, the day they came out (they were about 1.5-2m then). I saw the guy start to go down, and when he died my stomach kind of flipped over, and when I ran over there (along with the 5-6 other people in the area) I managed to get the shield off the top of the pile. :) Can't help but feel bad for the guy, but this was before I could do Barrows, and as such I was pretty broke, all the time. I ended up keeping the shield, but still it was nice. Made me feel a bit less poor. Also, by the way, I think there are probably a dozen threads on this topic already. How about you just drag one of those up, there was one within the last week or two.
  22. No no no, you're not going to make me out to be the stupid one here. Even if you were a billionare, and you wipe your nose with 200k (I don't know why you would, they're hard metal coins, but meh), what you did was still phenomenally stupid. You say you did it to understand the way the scam works, but anyone with half a brain can see immediately what the guy is planning to do, and how he plans to do it. Sorry, sorry ... I'm not meaning to call you stupid. I understand why you did it, I just can't understand why you did it. If that makes any sense at all.
  23. No matter how solid your evidence is, you can't change the minds of the masses. I've done ummm .. hundreds of Lv3 clues. Dozens of Lv1's. Probably like ... four Lv2's. Even if Jagex came out and said that it wasn't determined when you pick up the scroll, I'm sure plenty of people would still believe that it is. It's a superstition, really.
