Like I said, we've since become good friends. And since I hadn't expected to get the stuff in the first place, I wasn't exactly losing anything by giving it back. Sooo, why not.

NOTE: That isn't the original title, so ignore the people telling me to change the title. I was out in the deep wild, armed with nothing but a r2h and my wits. I'm not one of those sociopathic pkers looking for easy prey, I was just enjoying a brisk walk around the most dangerous part of RS. Upon running past the rune rocks, I'm entangled!! I see not one runite pker, not two, but a whole cadre of them. A batallion, no, a LEGION of bloodthirsty killers. A 79 with a dragon mace runs up to special me. I strike back, but with my slow r2h I can only get one hit in before he runs off and lets another team member take over. After running back and forth between assailants for about 20 seconds, I fall to the ground in dismay. I spawn in Lumbridge with revenge being my only thought. I grab a super set, my dds, some sharks and a super energy potion and run back out to the rune rocks. The only person I could remember was the 79 with the dragon mace, so I added him to my friends list and ... yes! He has his chat on! Now I'll know if he switches worlds! But luckily for me he stays put. Upon reaching the KBD lair's entrance, I drink my super attack and defense potions (saving the strength until the last minute for maximum effect), turn off auto retaliate, turn on my special and run towards the runite rocks. There are at least two dozen dots scattered around, but I immediately seek out the green dot on my mini-map. He seems to be thinking the same thing, and runs towards me. I drink my super strength potion just as he is about to attack me. He hits a 0 with his mace special, I hit 30-25-6 with my dagger special (the 6 was from poison, which luckily hit immediately), and he's down for the count. Never knew what hit him. I quickly grab his Dragon Mace, Berserker Helm, and Amulet of Glory and run off before the rest of his team can get their hands on me. All I had to do was run into the KBD's lair, pull the lever and teleport. Luckily the KBD has no chance to attack me before I escape. After a few seconds, I message the one with the mace ... ME: "Did you enjoy that, you jerk?" ME: "Pay back is a *censored*, huh?" HIM: "Shut up, noob." HIM: "You getting owned right now?" ME: "No, I escaped with your stuff before your team could get me." ME: "You can have it back though. Where are you?" HIM: "Seriously?" ME: "Yeah." HIM: "Fally." I teleport to Falador, search around for a second, find him at the East Bank, and return his stuff. We've since become good friends. I figured I'd post this in General P2P, since it's less gloating over a good pk and more about all it takes to make friends is some common courtesy. Moral: "You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar."

Training at Earth Warriors around 60-70 combat. Trained until I was totally out of food, then until I was below 10hp (was trying to maximize my training time). An earth warrior finished me off just as I was going to tele. Lost a blue beret, which at the time devastated me.

Or something to that effect.

Well I'm not sure what the hell Frosties are, but actually the Empire State would be New York. Each state has a nickname (i.e. I live in Texas, the Lone Star State, or New Jersey is the Garden State.) The whole thing sounds pretty [developmentally delayed]ed though. I hate when people feel it's acceptable to sacrifice meaning for the sake of rhyming.

Banana split. :thumbsup: Best way to make it ... Take a banana (peel it) and slice it into eights. (cut in half vertically along the banana, then slice each half into quarters.) Take a large scoop of ice cream and put it in the center of the bowl, then place the banana pieces in a circle sort of thing around the ice cream. Top the whole thing with chocolate syrup and whatever else you want. :XD:

Well even I use 1024x768 most of the time. Only use 800x600 when I want to play RS full screen. :wink:

This is good for normal playing, but I shall warn you! When pking or fighting boss monsters, it is actually a disadvantage, since your mouse has to travel across a longer distance to reach its target.

Just wanted to give everyone a tip ... If you set your computer's resolution to 800x600 and hit f11 in your browser window, you get as close to full screen RS as you're ever likely to.

Go to a f2p world and observe the newbs for a little while. They're all twitchy and moronic. Like a cage full of rabbits, but in a good way. :)

What about the paranoid guy in the upstairs of a building in the East Falador region? I made a thread about him and everyone spammed me ...

I'm going to try to compile a list of all the stupid pop-culture references we see in our every day RS-life. If you find something like this, post where you found it, and also the movie/t.v. show/song/whatever that it's related to in the following format. #1 - Enakhra's Lament "Ouch! My duodenum!" Family Guy Maybe if we compile enough of this stuff we'll be able to understand what the hell goes on in the mind's of the Jagex employees. EDIT: Oh yeah, also .. these are clearly swastikas.

I just wanted to say, I think the Mage Longbow special is grossly underappreciated. It is the only attack in the game that is 100% guaranteed to hit. Just in case some people weren't aware of the special. I mean, it would be useful against high-defense monsters like the KQ, Chaos Elemental, or whatever. 99 range, rune arrows ... there's potential there. :)

Don't use the rope on the tree, use it on the big [wagon] branch sticking out from the tree. If not, consult the quest guide. Or trying using it with the tree on the island.

That's limestone though. :(

Hey, where can I find granite? I hear it's great power-mining. And do you need to do a quest to access the area?

Two ectos would be good. Back when maul pking was actually a profitable venture, I got killed by a mauler. He delivered the last hit just as I clicked my ectophial, so I died in Port Phasmatys. Wish I'd had another ectophial so I could go back and save my stuff. :?

Of course there'd be more pures. There are more people ... Nobody makes their first account a pure. They just don't have enough knowledge. Now that people have established main accounts, pures are of course more widespread. I guess my post didn't really contribute much to the thread ... Wait. I mean to say, if you look at the ratio of pures/normals, you'd probably find that is hasn't changed much.
