It's random whether or not you get D Legs, but the is most definitely a set chance. If it were all totally random, then why would coins be a more common drop? It's not totally random, but nobody save for Jagex programmers could give you the exact figures.

If you have 80 mage and entangle (or just snare if you don't have 80 mage) then you don't need -ANY- prayer pots to fight Damis. Entangle, run back about 10 steps, let off 4-5 Earth Waves, and when he starts to move toward you just entangle him again! :)

With the salve amulet's +15% to atk and str on undead, and this mask +15% against your assigned slayer task, if you get assigned skeletons or something for slayer . . . We'll say 75 str, +30%, and you'd be hitting equal to someone with 98 str! And that's before we take pots and prayer into consideration.

I'm not sure about other metals, but with rune for example, the plate alchs for 39,400 gp (pretty sure) and the legs\skirt alch for 38k. If you make slightly less money each item, but make more money per bar, then you're maximizing your profit.

Are you kidding? The Wise Old Man totally kicked troll butt in Swan Song. There was that battle at the beginning of the quest where you did actually fight alongside him. He would run out of runes, but slip him a mind or some elemental runes and he can turn them into 40 dmg.
