July 21, 200620 yr I just wanted to say, I think the Mage Longbow special is grossly underappreciated. It is the only attack in the game that is 100% guaranteed to hit. Just in case some people weren't aware of the special. I mean, it would be useful against high-defense monsters like the KQ, Chaos Elemental, or whatever. 99 range, rune arrows ... there's potential there. :) My greatest ambition is to kill every member of the human race.However I am a realist and therefore know that I probably wont be able to.

July 21, 200620 yr Its got to be better than the short spec: Rapidly waste two arrows. Snap shot they call it, I can think of better descriptions. The long spec is ok in theory but its usually cheese certainly not worth the massive drop in fire rate. df

July 21, 200620 yr You can actually still miss with the spec, sadly, you just need a lot of bad luck/a low range level to do so :P I guess that with (s) rune arrows, being sure to hit would be nice since you But yeah, MSB spec is complete junk, even at 111 range I hit incredibly badly with it (I mean come on, 7-8? Who am I supposed to kill with that kind of spec :P)

July 22, 200620 yr the mage longbow spec may give a guaranteed hit but in the long run, the shortbow's speed definitley prevails. ps: use better arrows for shortbow spec, poisoned for longbow spec :D Click here to see my goals and achievements thread
July 22, 200620 yr i would agree that although you are guaentted a hit with the long bow i would rather just take my chances that i get a double max with the msb but i generally use knives so it doenst really bother me that much

July 22, 200620 yr the mlb is great for the giant mole. i dont know what u would do without it. its not the best for pvp bu for high defence monsters it is a great help. plus it only takes up what, 1/5 of your special? i like it but would never use it regularly or for training. can be good for pking cause it can shoot long range. the key is to switch between both bows. check out my achievments
July 22, 200620 yr Magic LongBow - Powershot This attack uses the full power of the longbow and will have an increased chance of hitting your opponent. increased chance? what chance is that anyway? look here, if you're attacking someone, you have a 100% chance of having a splatter mark on them, and about 20%(pure guess, okay?) chance of 0(% goes down with lvl i would say) the explanation is just rubbish unless they consider hitting=damaging if they do, why have the blue splattters for 0? well i think they could either elaborate or change the spec as mage longs are commonly sold for alching food
