I actually came out of retirement for this today. For the first time in 9 months I logged on. Had allot of fun, and I just might play runescape again because of this. Kudos to Jagex for finally releasing something that fills the void the old wilderness left when it was removed. TipIt had better beat the other fansites in getting a guide about the new PVP worlds. Things like hotspots, levels of engagement, and more should be mentioned. One question for those of you who have been on allot today: does the margined for engagement (in my case 71- 98 combat) change any depending on where you are?

I am fairly happy with the people we have now... so why would I need to clone anyone? Unable to come up with who I want to clone, let's consider who I would not want more of, and for what reasons. First I would not want a second Bufoman. One is all we need, really. If their where two of us, we would probably be at each others throats all the time... unless we agreed on everything, which we probably would on account of being clones. But then it's kind of scary having another you around, so scratch that. Second... well let's take my successor Armybuilder for example. He is a good leader overall, and being British can host events better for those members we have in Europe. That said however I am not too sure I want to clone another one... we fight sometimes about stuff, and I don't want to loose an argument on account of being outnumbered. Then their is Yeah Right, and Poplers... both of whome have very high combat levels (over 100 I believe), and are loyal to the order. Although it may seem like a good idea at first, cloning one of them would upset the delicate balance they have achieved. The two of them are in a constant struggle to prove who is the best all round member of the order. Or at least that's how I see it. At last we come to Nighthawk, the man who I put in charge when I took a 2 or so month break from runescape. Of all the people I may want to clone, it would probably be him. The reason: due to real life commitments he does not seem to have much time for the order, if he had a clone, they could take turns filling in for each other, and boost his activity considerably. So their you have it, the winner is Nighthawk, but not for any of the reasons one would think. Also we have allot of other fine members who did not get mentioned, and I believe I should give mention to every one in our members list, which you can find in my profile. I should especially give mention to Decebalus6, who recently did something quite above and beyond the call of duty. Something that has, so some extent, placed me in his debt.

I was wondering who has gotten this and when? It seems to be going around here, and I was wondering if it could have been from a bad advert or something on this site. I am starting to think this might have been from something on TIF too, you and I are no the only one's around here who have gotten this.

Try cleaning your cache. That one is going around, I got it a week and a half ago, and the only thing that seemed to work, was cleaning out my browsing history. Saw you guy's in the wild once I do believe... as I recall my men where really frightened at your PK team... probably was not even you, but the fear it caused was considerable. Or was that DI we bumped into I cant remember its been so long.

Ok... this is strange. I got that same damn Trojan about a week ago- either Friday or Saturday. To get the bogus pop-up, and possibly kill the thing you need to clean out your temporary internet files. Go to start, control panel, internet options, delete browsing history, temporary internet files. That should stop the Pop-Up, at least it did it for me. Then run scans with Spybot S&D. I think this is also a downloader Trojan, so it will keep putting nasty stuff on your computer until you kill it. At least I got one of those in the batch, and I am pretty sure that was the one. Once I killed it, the other malware stopped re-spawning. Theirs allot more you need to do to be secure, you need to check your add-ons for updates, and install them. Thanks for the info. I think their really should be a sticky some wheres about Bots Spiders, and any other odd user id tags (or whatever these are called) we have around here.

Well I was browseing the forum, and I saw this in that ghostly purple: Baidu [spider] So what exactly is a Spider? Is it something like a bot?

I always liked the rainbow boots... they went nice with my prince outfit, lederhosen hat, and cape... yes; I was a sight to behold in-game. That said I usually brought them along, mostly because they gave decent combat stats, and I did not mage, so the drawbacks in that area where not an issue (that and I was too lazy to switch them).

I would not know... the best I could do was 2 and a half- 3 sides. Would appreciate it if you would share the secret with us, and embellish this topic with more than two sentences. Not that you have too, but it would be nice.

An enlightening read. I did not know that their was such a problem. I have only ever heard about fat people getting picked on, not the other way around. Now my personal preference as a man: Greater than Anorexic, less than Whale. Oh- and must have a personality I can actually get along with, and come to love. The word love is used far too often with a sexual connotation, my idea of love is something else entirely. Seriously, thats about it on my standards, I put allot more stock in some ones personality than their physical appearance (ok downright ugly like hooked nose or beak face may be taken into consideration in the girl friend category). That said if they smell bad all the time, it counts against them considerably. There are things you can do about BO, if you care to try.

I was wondering about this too, and after browsing the forum for awhile, have concluded that the Netflix banner ads are responsible. Whenever I see a Netflix banner ad, I get Pop Ups. The rest of the time I have seen nothing.

Well, at least you had a good run. Have any of the die-hards considered creating a new clan from the ashes? I remember when my order pretty much died, their where like 3 people who stayed and wanted to rebuild it, and with those 3 we have grown, and are beginning to surpass our former status. Not trying to take over your topic here, I am trying to show how determination, and a few good men, can make all the difference.

Mr. D I certainly hope you are joking. I mean you are one of only 4 Admins after all, and a leader (I consider you as such, not sure about every one elses stance) of our order... Ok so while we are discussing veteran ranks, what other ranks do you have that come with time requirements?

I would say you cannot judge Militos Deci simply by numbers and strength. Our members know how to fight better man for man, than most of the other small clans. Looking at our members list you would think we are weak, but if you go out with us, you will find that we dominate the clan war arena when going up against mere teams, despite their superior levels and numbers. This I believe is true for all clans that have a good degree of professionalism in their rank and file.

Sounds like a good update, if they do it right. I might actually come out of retirement if this is close enough to the old wild.

6 months seems to be a pretty standard time from what I have read. Is their a reason for this time being generally agreed upon? Or have people from clans with different requirements not posted yet?

I was wondering what are the requirements other clans have for the status of Veteran Membership. How long must a member be in your clan? How active must they be? How do you reward members who for example, have been with you for over a year? Two years or more?

To me Honour has always been abiding by the terms of an agreement, and conducting yourself in a respectable manor (keeping swearing and flaming down to a minimum). These pre-conceived rules such as no eating, no praying, no teleporting, and a whole bunch of others have nothing to do with real Honour as far as I am concerned. I always encouraged my people to fight to the best of their ability, within the rules and terms set out. In a Run-In the standard protocol was to evaluate our chances for victory, attack if we believed we had a good chance, or flee for our lives if we knew we would be slaughtered. This was of course in the old wilderness where we could take the loot of those we slayed. We had a code of Honour we followed in the wild, any one without a skull who did not challenge us (and was not deemed a lure or Pker) (Party hat wears where considered lures, and we almost killed one once by attacking his ambush party) was safe around us. We only made exceptions if they where obviously PKers. We even went so far as to escort people who came to mine at the rune rocks. Because of this code, we rarely made a profit from our hunts. Most of the time we broke even, some times we lost everything we had. It was not about the loot, it was about the bond that formed risking our best gear (that for many of us took over a week of playing to obtain) in the search of our prey- the hated Random Player Killers. Now their is no longer such a wild, and any one who we can attack is a valid target (other than ourselves and allies/ order friends; and some other rare exceptions) as they are in a mini game for that purpose. When the PVP worlds come out, if we like them, every one will be fair game, as they come knowing they take that risk, and seek it for their own purposes ;most likely to slay other players and take their loot.

Yes I am talking about my old nemesis here, the one who practically stalked me on runescape. Theirs a rule against naming names, so I will not go into detail.
