In wars or PK trips? What's your style? Are they pointless?

 

 

 

I wear Fighting boots when attending a melee only war. Other than that, I blast in my polished Leather :ugeek: I've never really felt the difference that boots make in wars, but you never know.

With the new druid set you can wear the fighting or colorful boots and still hit binds effectivly, so i use fighting boots to give me an advantage when tanking.

Fighting boots when not hybrid, leather boots when hybrid. I know it doesn't make a great difference, though I do this.. :)

Leather, cos I'm always binding. Sometimes wear flippers though, just for fun :P We tend to fight 70+ people where I'm going to get koed whether I take fighting boots or not, so I don't worry too much.

I take the best boots that I can. Usually, it's fighting boots.

i always take colourfull because druid+99 mage=ownage

I always liked the rainbow boots... they went nice with my prince outfit, lederhosen hat, and cape... yes; I was a sight to behold in-game. That said I usually brought them along, mostly because they gave decent combat stats, and I did not mage, so the drawbacks in that area where not an issue (that and I was too lazy to switch them).

Back when I was a member, I used to use climbing boots in any pvp. The extra strength bonus can become helpful.

I wear Fighter boots in wars because I always melee or range. Only 70 mage :(

 

 

 

I don't wear leather because it looks too common.

 

 

 

Now the color boots I have a little story..

 

 

 

I completed SoS the first day it came out and got the color boots, I was very proud and walk all around Runescape with nothing on but the boots. While I was enjoying the boots, suddenly a lvl 120 walked up to me and commented about my....preference of guys or girls because of the boots.(He avoided censor too :( ) I was embarrassed and swore never to never wear them again. Of course now I don't care much but hey, old habits die hard.

of course boots make some diffrence every stat count

I used to wear leather boots because they didn't hurt my magic bonus but then the druidic robes came out and I thought I would wear my colourful boots instead for wars :D So now I always wear colourful boots to wars

 

 

 

Ya I am hybrid so pile me plz

lol when I was in THE and we fought BK often you were always a sniper, I know cos you often got on me cos it felt at times like I was the only hybrid. :roll:

I'm a fan of the leather boots. They give you the bare minimum where stat boost is concerned without inhibiting your magic.

I always wear Fighter Boots. Gives you some defence that could save you one day \

I myself have always worn my chicken feet to wars and it has sort of become my trademark lol.

I always wore leather boots since I was always a hybrid, but I'd rock the colorful boots whenever I had an excuse to do so.

Rainbow boots, all the way. Good def, and they look so hot.

When i used to be in a pk clan i always wore white boots <3. When p2p pking my choice went to the style i was in. (Climb boots for melee, ...)

Colorful boots. Give defense bonus, which is important when being piled.
