Read the RSOF, In one of the actually thought out rants....they are looking into different ways to balance trading better and give gifts. They said it was more of a temporary thing so that they could still have Runescape in 2008 and start being able to use their resources on updates and customer support issues and try to balance out game. I think things are a bit messed up now...but the RWT got hit hard. I give jagex a couple months and everything will be better.

I much rather have them gone, they did ruin my runescape experience. I sent in over 100 names that were autoing at the flax...That takes time that I rather be talking to REAL people instead of someone autoing... You think you are mad at the big update.... Jagex just took out every single portion of RWT fun and Autoing fun... they are pissed.

This is what I have been thinking since the update came out. Everyone chooses to look at what they lost. I look at how many bad people and players that we lose so that Runescape is an overall better game to be played. You should definately add me when you see this because I need someone that understands what is going on to chat.. Great Great article.

I've decided to put my two cents about the recent update in my blog as a mini discussion since it is relevent. My Frustrations: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Examples of 8 or 9 out of 10 rants yesterday. *Person logs into runescape and gets on lightning chat* OMG THEY RUINED RS - R.I.P. Ruinedscape. -Have you tried the updates out yet? 3k Limit and NO RC PKING?!?!?! -They have bounty hunter you should try it out. MY PK BUDDIES QUIT AND SO DO I1!!!!!111 An example of rant forums on RSOF. SIGN A PETITION FOR JAGEX TO CHANGE WILDY BACK: lists of names.. .... .... middle finger with something saying screw you Andrew. /examples I have not had one intellectual conversation with a whiner or a ranter yet. I have talked to some people that say they like everything but the 3k balanced trade, which is the same boat I am in. My suggestion aong with many other people is to put a percentage kindof like the Grand Exchange has so people are allowed to buy for a higer price if they want it more. People quitting within the first 24 hours of a new update also boggles my mind. I didn't play this long to not try and atleast see why Jagex has done something. People who say Real world trading and bots are no big deal either are A) Are real world trading/drop trading to other accounts. B) Have not read how much damage RWT and Autoing does to Jagex. C) Rather have bottomline prices because autoers stick all their flax in Grand Exchange for low price and don't care about the market. I try to look at the benefits when a new update comes out and then weed out what I don't like about the new update. Anyone who thinks signing a petition will make them reverse all the months of work they put into this development is ignorant. I personally hate every bot and every RWT trading site I see. Jagex knew small steps against autoing and RWT would only hold them off so long. They decided to do the striking blow now and I really think it was all for the best. There are plenty of rough edges now, but I have faith that thehy will smooth out. EDIT: I forgot about part of the update, BANKSPACE.

+1000 words Maybe if everyone read the DD's intead of looking at the update and trying to find out from other people who are as ignorant as themselves they would know what Jagex is planning on doing. I have never been this stressed any two days of my life because of illiterate, ignorant newbies.

+1, People think jagex just lies about how much money they lose in RWT.... Why would they lie about that and then make the majority of Runescape players suffer for a minor problem. I rather them not have to deal with RWT and Autoers trading over 100's of thousands of flax or yews. We have a little inconvience until they smooth this update out, everyone really doesn't understand how big of an impact this will have on cleaning this game up. Bottom line is that I am staying and I don't mind there being less people on worlds.... more time for me to train my skills while I watch people protest.

considering autoers will be almost gone by end of january, picking flax will be extremely profitable. Autoers were picking thousands upon thousands of flax a night. Now, real people have to do the real work. Price jump anyone?

More room to train for me, I really could care less I'm self sufficient. People need to stop worrying about the numbers and play the game. Its a monday night for one thing, sure some people quit, other people logged off early or whatever. The truth will happen on Friday night, if it dipps under 100k people from friday night to Saturday morning I could understand worry about people playing.

By telling everyone to just cancel a month so they change it back already tells me something. You like or liked playing this game a lot before the update because you woudln't care if it changed and you just poped in a few seconds to show off your phat. The update doesn't effect anyone that just plays once in a while. It effects the everyday runescaper, so please stop telling everyone how to make a mulit million dollar company go to its knees.

Wow, I don't want to be too harsh, but if you kill yourself over a game you shouldn't be alive. If one major update in runescape can make someone commit suicide, then there is something else going on besides runescape. I really wish people would grow up and realize this isn't the end of the world or Runescape for a matter of fact.

Rc Pkers has been more annoyance than real danger, this does not affect nothing... You fail to see my point there, no pker out there will be left to buy nats for "tb", which cease to exist now, with offensive magic out of the way now in pvp, what other uses for magic can you think of? Enchanting or teleporting, those don't use nats. Almost nobody left is going buy nats to train mage till 85 or 94, which is used in a dead pvp. The problem i'm highlighting is: we can't sell the nats we rced. Already seen people using anchients and ice barrage ....which means that others will still alchemy up to those levels. Stop being so drastic. Everyone Alchemies and still have to alch bows and get magic lvls.
