Hearts were just another victim of the goal machine Kris Boyd :D He was top scorer for 2 different teams last year and if he gets a regular 1st team place he could by our 40+ goals a season man because of the better service from his teammates. The new manager had a ropey start because we couldnt finish the chances we made but with Boyd in the team that wont be a problem.

I the other day I read that the title actually began as a joke between some studio executives about who could think of the worst movie title which spawned; "Snakes On A Plane." I dont know what to make of this so far, its either going to be an utter train-wreck or absolute genius; snake in a film are good( Indiana Jones etc.) & planes are good (The Aviator) so combining them may be brilliant, but Im holding my breath.
  3. Whats the quote um '1 death is a tragedy, 1 thousand deaths are just a statistic' Can't remember where I heard it but yeah :? Holy *.. just watched it, I really don't know what to say  Its a quote from Stalin as far as I remember but I cant remember what he was refering to.
  4. Well Ill be celebrating my 19th birthday, thats presuming the apocalypse doesnt ruin my celebrations :D . On Topic - Iran do not have the capability to create nuclear weapons or any sort of weapon that is capable of hitting the US or Europe. Even if they did they would hit one US city if they were lucky before they were obliterated - USA's nuclear stockpile is still extensive despite decades of nuclear disarmament.
  5. You Are An ESTP The Doer You are adventurous and risk taking. You act first, think second. You love being the center of attention. Chances are you were the class clown. Competitive, charming, and charasmatic - you have your own code of honor. You live a flexible life, bouncing between a series of activies that interest you. You would make a great salesperson, marketing director, or entrepreneur.
  6. http://prisonplanet.com/articles/august2006/100806redalert.htm Well I live in the UK and have not once heard this Hezbollah nuclear claim once. Its all very well claiming that corporate new sources are biased or even fraudulent, but then proceeding to quote some sort of underground 'news' source that makes such laughable claims makes your point worthless. http://www.netscape.com/viewstory/2006/07/28/fox-news-says-hezbollah-certain-to-nuke-major-city/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.informationliberation.com%2Findex.php%3Fid%3D13797&frame=true I used to be an avid listener of the Alan Colmes show, though I can no longer stand him. Just because a guest goes and prophecises a nuclear attack doesnt neccessarily mean it has any basis in fact, I could go on CNN today and claim to be God but that just isnt so (or is it? ). Also the article you then quote even discredits the claim as an ------------------------- Anyway I keep going Off Topic recently so lets all just get back to the real point here.
  7. edit - I was refering to Nots quote from that prisonplanet site

  9. So all Muslims are terrorists then? No the BNP think that anyone who isnt White and English is scum. Lets not have this argument again though.
  10. Its good to see that the security services were on the ball this time, Ive been a little critical of them in the past but this time you have to applaud them. Could you imagine if this hadnt been prevented though, BBC news was talking about 10 or more planes this morning - that would most likely make it the single biggest act of terrorism ever. ---------------- Im not trying to be funny but for some reason when I heard the details of this plan I thought of the Die Hard films; Liquid explosives - Die Hard With A Vengeance Plan centred around an airport - Die Harder (Die Hard 2)

Sorry but there's no way you can equate being a drunk or being a scientologist with being a racist.
  12. Sorry, this is off-topic you cant talk about Runescape money on here, oh wait you mean most real people die with around ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã/$200,000 in their bank accounts? Somehow I doubt that. :^o Anyway, in my opinion there are far more important things to spend " few thousand dollars" on rather than a tatty bit of jewlery. Its not like you can really do anything with jewlery, it has no function other than to look nice. Plus after the initial thrill of owning a well over-priced bit of jewlery, most people pay very little attention and have little care for their jewlry anyway. Im not in any way saying that people shouldnt buy jewlery at all, my point is that theres no point in paying extortionate ammounts for jewlery when it can be better spent. Edit - Plus any woman who was so vain as to be bothered by the price of the jewlery I buy her isnt the sort of woman Id want to be with. The price is irrelevant, she should be damn happy I bothered to buy here anything at all! :D
  13. That, and what I said :) Politicians don't just think about their popularity, you know. I'm sure a good bunch of them actually care about our welfare. Yeah I agree there are alot of politicians who do positive things but I really dont think they are a majority to be honest. Maybe Im just being cynical. :-k
  14. As much as I hate the fact that protectionism unfairly prevents deveolping countries from competing on even terms, it makes no political sense for a leader to stop subsidising. Realistically if tommorow a leader of EU nation (or the American president) abolished subidies, they wouldnt have a hope in hell of being re-elected. Until the electorate of these nations consider international trade policy a fundamental voting issue, this will continue unfortunatly. People ultimately are selfish when they consider issues like these at election time.
  15. In friendship, the biggest sin by far has to be sleeping with your childhood friends sister, or his mother. That is absolutely unforgivable.

I don't think you can be too old, can you? I've seen a few adults with them. I brush my teeth twice a day, and I think they look pretty nice. I had prices from 8th to 9th grade, because of a slight overbite, so that may have helped a tiny bit. As for the color, they look okay to me, though I wish they were a tiny bit whiter. Lol I turn 19 at the end of the month actually. I just never got them sorted when I was younger because I already had glasses (although I got rid of them a few years ago) and was a little sef-conscious about wearing braces and having glasses. I wish I had got them corrected now though.
  17. You are an agnostic. Though it is generally taken that agnostics neither believe nor disbelieve in God, it is possible to be a theist or atheist in addition to an agnostic. Agnostics don't believe it is possible to prove the existence of God (nor lack thereof). Agnosticism is a philosophy that God's existence cannot be proven. Some say it is possible to be agnostic and follow a religion; however, one cannot be a devout believer if he or she does not truly believe. agnosticism 92% Satanism 63% atheism 58% Islam 58% Buddhism 58% Paganism 54% Judaism 46% Christianity 29% Hinduism 21%

I actually heard that too much calcium is bad for your bones and does the opposite of what people usually think. Can't remember where I heard it but I'll have a look around. Isnt that one of the arguments that Vegans continually use to stop people drinking milk? I think thats how I heard it. Anyway, I brush my teeth regularly especially since my front teeth are slightly crowded. Aside from braces(since i think Im too old for them anyway) is there anyway to correct crowded teeth?
  19. I play Texas Hold 'Em with mates and people I know occasionally. Ive never played online though, Im slightly afraid Ill go on some sort of mad spending spree.
  20. Exactly, its Scientology one day then its Kabala the next  . You'd think these celebrities would put a little thought into their religious beliefs and not be as fickle as to follow every stupid little trend.
  21. One time I tore a ligament in my knee playing football, it was painfull as hell. To be fair it was caused by me flying into a crunching tackle #-o . Lol I feel bad reading this thread because when I used to play football I was always the inflictor of injuries ( apart from that one time ). I broke a mates arm once, he took the ball past me andtried to jump over my trailing leg (I was still upright). He just didn't jump high enough and dropped. It was horrible his whole weight came down on the arm he put out to break the fall, it was made worse as it landed on these sort of semi-circular kerbs, which meant instead of one clean break of the bone, he got 2 breaks and the bone bent #-o .
  22. To be honest I thought that it was quite disapointing, especially considering its cost and how hyped up it was. The film just took too long to get going and when it did get going, the film seemed a bit tame and predictable. Dont get me wrong, the visual effects were brilliant particularly during the whole plane scene and when Spacey ( who was good as you'd expect) beats him down, but other than those 2 scenes the film was poor in my opinion. Essentially it failed on 3 points; 1)The film is too long, you end up just waiting for 30mins for anything to happen. 2)The plot is predictable and really brings nothing origional or innovative in my opinion. 3)Spacey is so good that you want him to win, which takes away from the point of the movie. -----------------------------------

  24. Even though I grew up in the 90's, (born in '87) and therefore completely biased, the 90's was a great decade. A glorious time between the end of the Cold War and the beginning of global Islamic Jihad (well before it was a big topical issue). Its strange eventhough Im not from the US I do know alot of the US-related topics in there. I know somebody else mentioned it but does anyone have the UK version of it?
  25. Economic Left/Right: -5.50 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.51 Strange Im slightly more liberal than I though, I reckoned I'd be right in the middle. Im surprisingly close to Mandela and The Dalai Lama.
