  1. I better not tell my university next year I kicked a football against someone's car when I was 7. They might revoke my offer. -.- A PCRB (Police Criminal Records Bureau) check is mandatory to apply for Medicine in this country. It shows all convictions, all warnings, arrests and cautions you've ever had in life. The check is there to prevent doctors like Harold Shipman, or paedophiles, or thieves who'll channel drugs to the black market, from slipping through the net. If this didn't show up on his check, I see no reason why he can't be allowed into Medical School. There really is no exception to Medical School except for this criminal check. This is over the top... surely honesty is a key skill in being a good doctor?

I tried using an SD card to transfer images over from the Wii to my computer. It failed. :(
  3. I'm sorry, but since when did child molestation compare to having a single parent?
  4. So what you're really saying is this: You don't want a child being adopted by a guardian who clearly doesn't offer stability. Fine, I agree with that. Of course. I just don't believe there is one iota of evidence to suggest gays offer less stability for a child than a heterosexual couple. For the matter, the whole 'a child needs a mother and father to develop properly' is wrong. I am a son of a single parent. My mother died when I was 9. I'm also going to university next year, and achieved the best grades out of my entire year at high school. Clearly, only having one parent has done me a lot of harm. I'm living proof your argument is crap.
  5. I live in the same city as a place called Lava. Not too nice. But shock, it's full of heterosexuals. And what makes you say only a gay could do that? Is there some sort of biological response which only works with straight people that stops them having sex that many times a night?
  6. The Iraqi people are.
  7. Here's the point --> * <-- Here's you (If you can't understand that simple piece of art, it symbolises you missing the point... again.) Are you seriously telling me only gays do that? For the matter, I know quite a few gay people. They've had sex (with other people, not each other, and with only one other person at a time) about two or three times each.
  8. Oh jesus, soldiers die on duty all around the bloody world. We've a few in Kosovo who inevitably will die keeping the peace. I suppose that means we should all declare war on Serbia. -.- Will you listen to yourself, please, and actually develop some sort of coherence to your arguments? So we should withdraw and let the Isf splinter and iran and al qaida gain more power there? Were doing a damn good job now. Thanks to Patreus. That guys up there with Grant, Jackson, and Eisenhower if we win the war. Even the members of the Iraqi parliament who want us out the most aren't calling for an immediate withdrawal. When they testified to congress the sunni guy said that we should have a timetable but that the commanders on the ground should come up with it. He said whatever length of time whether it be a year or more as long as the sentiment was there. I'm not sure when Patreus is going to do his assessment on troop levels but I think it's next month. I don't care about your general. I don't romantically analyse the world through the actions of 'great men'. I see things as they are. You avoided my point. You are (apparently) building a democracy. The will of the Iraqi people is that you should leave immediately. That is their wish, and it is their sovereign right to demand you leave, whether or not you feel there's a terrorist group inside Iraq or not. Let's actually try reversing the roles to develop some sort of consistency here. I'm the leader of, say, China. A terrorist attack has occurred in my country. I've traced the attack to a group operating inside the US. I attack the US, overthrow its government, create a government that suits my personal ideology, ignore the will of the American people, and stay there regardless of the American people despising my troops' very presence there, using the excuse "we're hunting terrorists", pumping barrels of oil out of the country while millions go without power. Now it's your country's will being totally ignored, would you support China in this scenario, as you support the US's actions in the real world? Because that is exactly what's happening in Iraq. You have absolutely no right to stay inside Iraq.
  9. I personally define sport as a contest which requires exertion, and involved competition. Therefore, professional gamers who compete in recognised competitions could, I suppose, be regarded as sportsmen. Even Chess is counted as a sport these days. 'Athlete' though? Get lost, no chance.
  10. I doubt anyone without some sort of PhD is actually informed enough to give an opinion on what psychologically happens to a child when they view sex/violence. Daily Mail included.
  11. Al Queda was never in Iraq. It wasn't until America "took over" that they started popping up there. Thats irrelevant to whether or not to withdraw prematurely. Who says America's even doing a good job in Iraq? Most Iraqis want you to withdraw. Yet you decide to stay. That's some democracy you're building there.
  12. I'm not telling you what is and isn't funny.
  13. That's wholly irrelevant to the fact that someone has lost their life, and his family have lost their son/brother. It's tragic when anyone dies and no person's death deserves to be humiliated for how they died. It is just completely disrespectful.
  14. Can anyone guess who received mod powers on this new chat?
  15. Well sorry Ginger its always been called that and the users always considered it as so, though its not officail. I was going to be officail if the staff here when i was admin here , was for it but wasn't ... Doesnt matter either way. its closed, end of story. I know alot will be glad its gone anyways including some staff here. LightsOut You've not even been involved in the Staff's discussion on this issue. You have absolutely NO right to say what is the official Tip.It clan chat in any context.
  16. There is no Tip.It Chat. This has been said countless times...
  17. Place that into another scenario. War, for instance. A soldier recognises the dangers of signing up to the Army, yet we're all expected to sit in front of our TV screens and have respect for those who die. Take away for a moment what they're fighting for, and consider they willingly chose to join the Army. Surely, they stupidly ignored all the warnings, and died. None of us should have any sympathy. Only, I do have sympathy out of basic humanitarian care. I still fail to see any tangible difference between the scenario I've highlighted, and this boy's tragic death. What you're saying is tantamount to saying, "That young girl knowingly entered the park realising she could be attacked, so we shouldn't have sympathy if she gets assaulted".
  18. Even when you consider wealth and opportunities? What would be better for you - a child adopted by two gays in 'white collar' jobs, or a heterosexual couple living off benefits from the state? I'm not suggesting more gays are in those jobs than heterosexuals, or heterosexuals have trouble getting into such positions, it is merely a hypothetical comparison. Moreover, if you choose the latter option, why should everyone else (pro-gay rights campaigners included) pay the price for your prejudice?
  19. Oh my god! You're so funny! You should become a stand-up comedian or something - see if a real crowd finds that amusing... What is it recently with idiots posting on threads like this? It's tragic when any person dies. End of. Instead of taking the [urine], actually spare some sympathy for his family.
  20. Another example of the wrong, yet increasingly popular attitude that a child's principles/orientations depends completely on their parenting. My grandparents were both Methodists. My Dad is even more vehement an atheist than me. Where does your presumption fit into that scenario?
  21. Grats. You should max out F2P combat at this rate tbh :
  22. How about a bisexual going out with a lesbian? The bisexual has a heterosexual affair, and becomes pregnant. They work through the affair, and have the baby. Before you pull the 'that example's too extreme to happen in reality' clause, it really isn't. There are cases with heterosexual couples working through affairs with a third party's child, even rape victims. In this case, which is better for the baby; living with a single dad, or living with its mother and her lesbian partner? Quite clearly, having two parents is better than one. Or is your hatred of homosexuality so comparable to a Neanderthal you would differ with that judgement just because the single parent is straight?
  23. France declared war on Germany.
  24. I didn't use any knowledge on Psychology to make that argument. It's simple logic. If we cannot stop paedophiles from being sexual attracted to children without castration, then one has to conclude a homosexual cannot stop being attracted to members of the same sex either. Thus, it is not a choice, and not something that can be 'fixed' as though it were some sort of disease. I'll remember my human obligation to rape someone next time I'm in town. After all, it is our duty to reproduce, even if the woman doesn't want to.
  25. I would die for a MMO Animal Crossing, so long as they keep the beautiful simplicity of Wild World. Nintendo may have released Mario Kart and SSBB, but people forget just how large an operation Nintendo actually is. They could easily be developing a new Pikmin or Advanced Wars while still working on the usual Mario titles.
