  1. I think (=> pretty sure) you need the actual RC level to be able to use pouches. So no.
  2. Listen, just because YOUR farts are that bad, doesn't mean that everyone else's are. Lay off the skewered kebabs for it a bit. Well EXCUuUuUuSE ME for trying the hot sauce. :(
  3. 1) Varrock: I use(d) this so much, there have yet to be a day I DIDN'T use it. The mining and smithing bonuses, the Zaff-thing, the overall defensive bonuses for its weight. <3 2) Lumbridge: What can I say? Free teleports for the win. I use it slightly more than the Karamja one, though. 3) Karamja: Free teleports. 4) Seers: I always thought of this as relatively useless, until I started noticing how much of the time I have this thing on my head. Be it for RC (the defences), WC or Dungeons. Also, Enhanced Excalibur matters. 5) Fremennik: Quite often used if I have to get to Rellekka by employing the free charge. Also MTK. But that's about it. 6) Falador: Other than the occassional Farming run, I can't say I actively use this, and I hardly ever use the Prayer restore option. Ardougne: Haven't got it, when I re-extend my membership, I'll get back on you.
  4. I got a slight headache by reading the first two sentences of that. Seriously, using grammatical structure won't kill you. This isn't the RSOF. That said, I like the Elite requirements and rewards. Good enough to be considered a welcome bonus, but not too good that you specifically want to train the skills (at least, that's how I feel). I wonder if Jagex'll add Elite sections to pre-existing diaries. :-k Also, Kharidian trousers for next AD plx (maybe with ability to autosmoke traps?).
  5. Theoretically, if I re-extend my membership, I could do all of the tasks no problem. Since I have yet to get my penguins, have a violent Jade Vine waiting and all of my fruit trees are coconuts. Hmm. :-k
  6. Under the hood? Perhaps the Grim Reaper hood and the Halloween update?
  7. Kids these days love using mental disorders like AD(H)D, Autism and Asperger's Syndrome (oh dear God, Asperger's) to justify their actions as acting like complete trolls/lunatics/idiots on the internet. Even if they have just a mild form of said disorders, or don't have it all, basing their diagnosis on pseudo-psychology found on the internet, hearsay or vague textbooks. It is not limited to RuneScape. It's a common thing to see on places where one can comment anonymously as well, such as Imageboards.
  8. What if the bad dude is Baxtorian, who is secretly controlling EVERYTHING in a secret chamber in the Waterfall cave?
  9. I don't think so. What's better? Buying at 200gp ea, or not being able to buy anything at 100gp ea? I know what I'd pick.
  10. Actually, I'd strongly advice against the W70/ZMI world. The lag (not so much for Americans/Australians?) and the fact that it's near impossible to find your familiar (as the only ones you should be using are Abyssal BoBs) make W70 absolutely horrifying. I speak of experience. Can't you just bring up the summoning tab and select remove items from familiar? That would make the need to locate and right click your familiar unnecessary. Also, if I remember correctly you can set the left click option on the summoning field (up by the mini-map) and make it remove items from BoB with a simple click of a button. It's storing the Essence that's the issue, not the withdrawing.

  12. Looked it up, tsk tsk. I Spam clicked until I got a cutscene! Nothing actually showed, no guide was at that point yet. So *technically* I didn't use any help, even if I intended to. And I have my PM, Public and Clan chat on off with the release of any quest anyway.
  13. I really liked the quest. The graphics and area was so beautiful, as were the effects. One of the best these past few months. That said, I was almost stuck. When the 3 beams of light popped up, I assumed you'd have to make a white beam appear on ALL 4 Light receivers. I was stuck for this for about half an hour and I did the unthinkable to look it up. Luckily, no guides were on yet, and it later hit me that there was a red light receiver. Either way, the puzzle room was so amazingly pretty. Love it. Also got me 82 Agility.
  14. The fact that I see people claiming content is g@y/g e y on a daily basis is enough evidence the community simply isn't mature enough to handle different sexual orientations. Pity, I know. Do not blame Jagex on this one, blame the players.
  15. No offence intended but that idea is awful, unless you're taking the piss, then its great. Why? It makes herbalists happy since they can still use their extreme pots in PvP, and it makes PK'ers happy since people toting extreme pots will have their cmbt lvl affected. So, what reasons are there that make this bad? Then should a similar compromise be used for non-extreme pots? Should a combat level be divided further if you choose not to use Prayer? And what about a level 138 with 96+ Herblore? Have a lvl 145 target?
  16. 30M cash, roughly 100-110M more with items. 80M more with all the items invested in my POH (<3 Marble). So yeah.
  17. Too bad overload is worthless now. It was clearly a potion made for hybrids in a pvp situation ... Wouldn't it still be pretty useful at tds/dks, where you use both range/melee? It would make brews easier to use too I guess. To use with Brews would require you to sip 3-4 times to recover the 50 HP lost, if 99 HP. That means drinking 4 doses of 2 quite expensive potions, as compared to drinking 4 doses of 4 relatively cheap potions. Yeah, I know what I'd pick.
  18. Fishing? we should exclude all food In fact exclude arrows and runes, runecrafting and fletching don't add to your combat.. etc. They're all tradable though. :wall: You can't fletch crystal bolts at level 99 that are untradable and hit 70s. :P Why shouldn't we be able to? What most of these kind of skills do these days is cost money and offer virtually nothing at higher levels. Why should I spend 25M on 90 Smithing (DFS) if I can just Req Assist someone who has it? Why should I smith in the first place? Same goes for Fletching, Cooking, Herblore (yet again), Crafting and Firemaking (to some extent). Runecrafting is the only production skill exempt from this. The only reward from these skills are the extra total levels and a cape at the end. Is this seriously a proper reward for skills that can cost 2-5M (Fletch/Cook), 35-80M (Craft/Smith), 100M+ (Herblore)?
  19. Jagex to bend over for the slightest hint of PK dissatisfaction? It's more likely than you think! It's becoming more and more apparent that PvP'ers are the true players in Jagex' eyes, all else are petty fodder. I have endured with basically half the updates these past two years being reserved for PvPers and now they still get their way. All the time. Damnit Jagex, just keep the pants down, it's not like you'll be needing them anymore.
  20. I'm just very worried about the prices now, Herblore wasn't cheap to begin with. But yeah, splendid update. I think my Greenman's ale (m) just quadripled or so in value, too.
  21. Indeed, the Brawling gloves (mining) will last half their usual yields (600 ores instead of 1200, using theuberelite's numbers). But, at the same time, the SC tools will last 4x as long as they usually would (72K mining experience instead of the usual 18K). So it is very worthwhile using both, especially since you can only keep one item nowadays. I used SC Hatchet for my Woodcutting brawling gloves and the SC Helm for my 3 Melee brawling gloves. Very fast experience indeed.
  22. I can finally update this now the new forum is here: 06-07-2009 And on 25-09-2009 Going well.
  23. Fishing and Mining all in one place (CE Letter). We save and catch eels from under rocks daily/weekly? Wut?
  24. I got introduced to RS Classic in 2004 by a friend. I absolutely hated it. RS only started getting interesting in 2005 for me (RS2). Doubt this update would do much for me. If you guys wanna indulge yourself in nostalgia, be my guest. I just don't see any appeal in playing with Commodore-like graphics.
