  1. So do people that train Attack, Strength, Hitpoints, Defence, Prayer, Crafting, Mining, Woodcutting, Fletching, Herblore, Runecrafting, Ranged and Farming Yet I don't see these people [bleep] about getting their precious 90+ items, even though they deserve it just as much as a Slayer. And do you want them for Slayer? Or do you want them for greed? Honestly. Because if you want them for Slayer, a good (and most recent, correct me if I'm wrong) update was the recent 'Missing my mummy' quest, which allowed for easier Scabarite tasks. Which, in turn, means you can scratch the Scabarites from your permablock list (if they were) and add another task you hate. Because you did, in fact, get a new monster to kill. Notice the OP has 78 slayer... Anyway, for attack, str, HP, def, prayer, mining, woodcutting, and herblore, the higher the level you are, the more advantage you have. All the combat skills have a bonus. Attack=more accuracy. Str=higher hits. As for the collection skills, you can gather resources more quickly. As for MyM, scabrites were easy to kill north of the swamp before, so nothing has changed. No more comment should be needed. Suggesting that combat or gathering skills above a certain level needed to wield or gather something is totally asinine. How do Herblorists advance from being higher leveled? Likewise, Slayer, in that respect, gets easier with higher levels are your combat stats become better, hence tasks will become easier. Singling out Slayers as trying pity-worthy disgusts me. It's a largely AFK skill (like Woodcutting) that can make a ton of money. Especially at levels 80+. There are other skills that deserve a high-level update more than Slayer does. All of you are advocating a 90+ monster so you can camp it and make millions, which you somehow feel you are entitled to just because you choose to train Slayer.

  3. Let's just say, I've been to three rex solo trips. I usually killed him about 60 times each trip. I ALWAYS left with either a ring or a hatchet. 2 or more each trip.
  4. You don't even need to do that anymore if you're 70+ Agility. It replenishes at the altar and whilst you bank.
  5. Great advice. I used it. Minimal competition. Thanks.
  6. I have SC Scimitar I could use. Don't want to lose too much money upon dying. Any suggestions?
  7. For optimal use, I'd recommend 70+ Agility, 70+ Runecrafting and 70+ defence. If you use a Lurker don't use W70. You'll spend way too much time looking for your Lurker during banking.
  8. Tells you directions to all the towns.@@@@@@@ Seriously, I have no clue.
  9. Actually, many still do Natures because it's faster than abyss for XP. Think like this. Casual Graahking is 2k ess/hr. That's 18K xp/hr. I think Abyss is only 12K (ages since I done it, though).
  10. Wow, my town completely blacked out right after I completed the quest. There seems to be more information you can bring to Ali the Wise if you have the 4 rock tablets and the two Mahjarrat notes (one can be found in at the end of Lamistard's tunnel (leading up to his Trollweiss hideout) in the bookshelf, the other can be found in the room with the Decipher strips etc.) The noted Mahjarrat being: - Akthanakos (this text suggests that Zaros was generally calm) - Azzanadra (powerful even amongst the Mahjarrat. Poses a threat) - Bilrach - Enakhra (only chick, quite funny read) - Hazeel - Jhallan (apparently the weakest of the bunch) - Khazard (Didn't witness the God Wars, tutored by Hazeel) - Kharshai - Lamistard (16th Ritual sacrifice) - Lucien - Mizzarch (15th Ritual sacrifice) - Ralvash (17th Ritual sacrifice) - Sliske (Quite powerful, awesome shapeshifter) - Wahisietel (Potentially alligned to Zaros) - Zemouregal Interesting. :-k
  11. If you read thru all the lores dragonite is referenced in many places. Incorrect, I've read en reread every thing about RS history, never had any mentions about it being called dragonite. Dragonite is to dragon as rune is to runite or addy is admantite or mith is to mithril Come to think of it, I've also never heard of Dragonite before. Except ... well ... you know. The history and lore on dragon metal is pretty obscure books within the game mostly. And it does somewhat conflict cause some says it came from Frenkskae (sp?) with the mahjaratt Some suggest the mahjaratt made it Other clearly implies the dragonkin created it. Equally the name pops up as a few different things, but all share being a red metal But the most official name out there is Dragonite, doesn't mean its the most widely used though. I mean I'd wager a good bet that probably 50% of rs players wouldn't have a clue what Runite or Adamantite is despite they being the full techinical names for very common pieces of equipment Source plz. Indeed, what differs "Dragonite" from Runite and Adamantite is that the latter two can be easily sourced. Unless you can provide us an actual source that mentions "Dragonite" by name will I believe it. I have done Mahjarrat quest and looked into them, I've done Dragonkin quests (lol 1) and looked into them. I've looked into Dragon metal (mostly for leading up to the 'While Guthix Sleeps' quest) and I can't recall ever seeing "Dragonite".
  12. Dragonite? Seriously? Looks like that was ripped directly from Pokémon. "Dragonite" metal doesn't exist. And if it did, I doubt it would be named that (the only ores with the -ite suffix are Adamantite and Runite, why this 'asssures' that Dragon metal would use it is beyond me). What we've seen so far, looking at the Dragon platebody, is that dragon armour or weapons are constructed from various lumps that do not represent bars. And a Dragon dragon? Kinda odd don't you think? An overtly obvious pleonasm for a name. Why not, you know, other adjectives? Why not ancestral, ancient, legendary, etc.

  14. Best place to use melee, range, and thieving brawlers? Best place for melee would be at Lesser demons with a Stealing Creation Scimitar, I'd say. Ditto for Ranged with the Stealing creation bow (and some steel arrows or something) Thieving is best used as Plunder, but considering PvP worlds don't have the "save one" ability, you'll have to be on your toes.
  15. Brutal Green I think. I do not believe they are. Brutal green dragons are entirely different in concept. Larger wings for its size than portrayed, with the classic ivory horns portruding from the back end from their skull. Yes my friends, I know I will probably be skinned alive if I have this wrong, but that seems an awful lot like concept art for an Adamant dragon. Looks metallic, not to mention the eyes grow green, which is consistent with ALL other metallic dragons. Quite neat.
  16. YES :D now i can use my agility brawlers without fear of losing them when i am piled (like every 5 minutes! :D) Someone told me you can't go into the agility arena in BH +1 worlds, can anyone confirm this? You cannot. Same thing applies for Spiritual Realm (ie: Woodcutting the Magic tree). It's to prevent you from staying out of your target's reach due to a level difference in skilling and/or quests. In light of the recent update, the following brawlers were returned to their former glory: - Fishing - Hunting - Smithing To a lesser extent: - Melee - Ranged - Mining And still very risky: - Agility (- Thieving: to a lesser extent)
  17. GF, but you're wrong. You can simply use the item on the Imp box and it will bank it. No need for interface.
  18. How much does a perfect lap give? Damn Skill Calculator still hasn't updated it. #-o
  19. Ha, if anything this trick makes 26king (or its newer variant: 76king) even better. Virtually no risk considering the PJ'ers have almost withered away and with your friend losing 76k, you only get better items. I did it today from 100%, made 5M. And before you judge me on my tricking, I do it together with getting 100K RC xp a day. I just do it for fun.
  20. Best: Stealing Creation - Only minigame I can stand playing for a long period Worst: - Clan wars - Only combat, no rewards, eww? - Castle wars - terrible rewards for a long, boring minigame. I'd rather smith my own Adamant armour than wasting 1000 hours on some brighter version of it. - Soul wars - Rewards I couldn't give a rat's [wagon] about.
  21. Well, the latest letter to the Chaos Elemental suggests a new Myreque quest is on its way. A complete overhaul of Vampire graphics may be on its way... Which would be great, considering vampires/vyrewatch are amongst the ugliest of NPC's (and not in the good ugly way).
