Managing 40k+ xp/hour at Z.M.I. ?
After having everything optimal (as I could), I managed 39.5k xp/h. FMI, do people calculate in abyss trips (pouch restoration) for xp/h? Because I do.

rs economy crash?
It's virtually impossible. We are under continuous strain of inflation here. Why? Blame it on High Alchemy. The real crash happened because people were using "speculative money" - meaning: money that doesn't exist. And when people en masse want money, you can't pay them with nonexisting money. That is not the case in RS. Due to High Alchemy (and to lesser extents: Shop selling), the money pile continous to grow. One item can crash, but not the whole lot. The only way I see RC economy crash possible if, suddenly, 50 players with max money quit and Jagex removes the Alchemy spell. Actually, just the removal of the Alchemy spell alone would probably cause a crash.

17th April 2009 - Concept Fairy area improvement
Maybe that's what the "curious village" was referring to? Looks extremely nice, Fairies were one of the things that needed graphical overhaul badly.

The guide to using brawling gloves (WIP)

Tormented Demons - The Excellently Uber Guide!
I know I would do a lot better with higher Melee stats, but I'm content with mine. As are Tormented Demons, as they granted me 3 Dragon Claws in <30 total kills, all within a week in December (Young whippersnappers don't know what it is like going W2 being offered 100M for your pair of Dragon claws when they were <3M in the GE). But, due to the long absense of guides, people have went and developed their own personal method out of experiences. I know I have. People are hellbent on tradition, like saying "I know your method is good, but mine's better". Your guide is very good for beginners (although I'm personally not pleased with the dodgy Paint art), but for seasoned Tormented Demon killers, you're bringing nothing new to the table. And I kinda got the feeling you were advocating one method in your post. You instantly shot down Halberd as worse than the Godsword technique. Don't do that, stay objective. Even if it is worse (which I'd agree upon), give it a mention, add some safespots and all the things that come with it. Void might be pretty bad here (the accuracy of TDs will rip through it like knife through butter), but it's still a used technique. If you can switch prayers fast enough, not a bad one (although you can sustain damage on the attack switch, but TD experts can antipicate a change of attack style). It's quisessentially an extra 15% to your attacks considering you just pray it out. That's my 2 cents anyway.

Tormented Demons - The Excellently Uber Guide!
Would it not be better to use an Unholy book over Rune Defender when using a Whip? I know for a fact that the Ranged boost and the Prayer boost are nice to have. Anyway, I won't be using this guide. Tired of being told I shouldn't/couldn't do TD due to my abysmal Attack/Strength (which I'm proud of having so low) while lacking (the ability to wield) Godswords. Nothing I didn't already know either.

The Champions of Champions
Yeah, a lot of Champion Challenge threads as of late. I didn't even notice your thread before making this. I see the Leon D'Cour challenge a given, considering you were fighting for the same title. This is more of Champion of Champions of Campions. :P

The Champions of Champions
Thread can be found: QFC: 84-85-148-58669018 A continuation of the Champion Challenges, involving the 5 other seated Champions. ==Champions Ring== This will be a rare drop from monsters that drop Champion Scrolls. They will replace the Champion Scroll drop after youve beat the Champion of that species (ie: from a Goblin after youve defeated the Goblin Champion) with the same drop rate as the Champion scroll of that species. They will make obtaining Champion Scrolls noticeably easier, increasing the chance of it being dropped by 4x. ==Champions of Champions== The other Champions of Champions, namely the Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, TzHaar and Werewolves. These Champion Scrolls are obtainable ONLY after having defeated Leon DCour. They are dropped by: Gnome Champion Scroll: Gnome Guards (lvl 23), pickpocketing Gnomes (extremely rare) Dwarf Champion Scroll: Dwarf (lvl 7/10/11/20), Black Guard (lvl 25/48), Black Guard Berserker (lvl 66), Chaos Dwarf (lvl 48) Elf Champion Scroll: Elf Warriors (lvl 90/180), Mourners (lvl 11/108), pickpocketing Elves (extremely rare) TzHaar Champion Scroll: TzHaar-Ket (lvl 149), TzHaar-Xil (lvl 133), TzHaar-Mej (lvl 103), TzHaar-Hur (lvl 74) Werewolf Champion Scroll: Werewolf (lvl 88/93), Canifis Man/woman (lvl 24) These Champions should pose a far higher threat than the lower Champions from before, using a limited amount of food (like Revenants), access to and switching Prayers (like Sigmund from Dorgeshuun quest series or Tormented Demons) and two or more attack styles. This means they will be protect from one of your attack styles after having sustained a certain amount of damage to it. They will also switch their attack styles after you protect against theirs and finally, like Revenants, they will heal up after having lost a certain amount of HP. Also, all champions (save the TzHaars) can run up to the player (same speed as a players running). In any case, these champions should actually feel like youre fighting a true champion. 1. Elf Champion Ryswr Penalty: No magic attacks Level: 184 HP: 240 Primary attack style: Ranged (Crystal Bow) Secondary attack style: Melee (Crystal Pike) Max hit: 22, 19 Appearance: White hair, elegant silver/crystal, body-fitting armour. Synopsis: Former General under Baxtorian. Old even under Elven standards, master bowman and excellent with the Pike. Notable fighting trait: Can attack you from a distance even with the pike (like Halberds), it can also stun you (like Dragon spears special attack). 2. TzHaar Champion TzHaar-Kot-Mor Penalty: No armour Level: 225 HP: 245 Primary attack style: Melee (Arms), Ranged (boulders) and Magic (fireballs) Secondary attack style: None Max hit: 40 (all styles) Appearance: like a TzHaar-Ket, just a tad bit bigger. Synopsis: Former TzHaar-Ket that was stronger than his adversaries. Said to have fought and beat down Ket-Zeks. Notable fighting traits: Much like fighting a miniature TzTok-Jad. He will only use melee if youre within Melee distance. His Ranged and Magic attacks will announce themselves, though with a shorter interval than Jads would. 3. Dwarf champion ? Penalty: No potions Level: 175 HP: 150 Primary attack style: Melee (Battleaxe) Secondary attack style: Ranged (Thrown axes) Max hit: 18 (28), 15 Appearance: Like a Black Guard Berserker, but with blue armour and a medium helmet (much like the Dwarven helmet) revealing his beard. Synopsis: Former leader of the Keldagrim Black Guard. Notable fighting traits: His battleaxe has a special attack with more power (max hit: 28) which lowers your fighting abilities. He cant use this often though. Protect from Melee will totally block this though). 4. Gnome champion ? Penalty: No prayer Level: 125 HP: 200 Primary attack style: Magic (much like Claws of Guthix, minus the secondary ability) Secondary attack style: Ranged (a small bow) Max hit: 14 (both) Appearance: An armoured gnome with a bow quiver on his back, with a staff in his hand) Synopsis: A former 10th squad member. Notable fighting traits: At 150 HP, hell cast a shield on himself to block all damage, hell summon 3 Veteran Terrorbirds (lvl 75, 60HP Melee only) hell also heal up to 200HP. The shield drops when all summoned creatures are defeated. At 100 HP, hell cast the shield and hell summon 2 Veteran Tortoises (lvl 100, 90HP, Melee only), hell heal up to 150 HP. At 50HP, hell cast the shield and hell summon a Black Demon, hell heal up to 100 HP. 5. Werewolf Champion ? Crystal Bow at TDS (may be locked)
If you're using a 2handed weapon, yes, use it. Only till it's 7/10 though, after that it's just too bad (that means, get another or degrade and recharge current one).

Tormented Demons?
I manage 4 kills already with my stats.

Tormented Demons?
Around 4. Got my first claws on the 12th kill ever, or so.

Managing 40k+ xp/hour at Z.M.I. ?
That's a great idea. :o But I used to clean out that portion of the bank, so I retrieved everything in like 3 seconds. Those 3 seconds longer banking can't be the cause of getting 10K xp less?
-
Good melee armor
To say it bluntly: no. You've just eliminated all the high-end non-degrading armour. The next best thing is Rune.

Managing 40k+ xp/hour at Z.M.I. ?
I just deposit inventory and retrieve the 4 pouches + fire runes.
-
Tormented Demons?
I can, so you can. I think you'll be looking at around 7~8, perhaps more kills per trip. And it's profitable if you get Claws. Otherwise, like most high-level monster fights, you'll lose money on supplies.

Managing 40k+ xp/hour at Z.M.I. ?
You're not exactly helping me here....

Managing 40k+ xp/hour at Z.M.I. ?
I heard of people getting up to 45k xp/hr at my level at ZMI, but... I logged my runs, and I get an average of 32-35k xp/hr. What am I doing wrong? I use all 4 pouches, Abyssal Lurker, I bank at Enolia and for the first half of my run, I use infinite energy from the Salt-water spa.

Runescape Easter update!
Your speculation is suspiciously specific! I also "suspect" it'll involve broken machinery and implings... :-#

Runescape God Mythology
Simple terms: Saradomin - God of goodness. Guthix - The god of balance, possibly Zaros' father. Zamorak - The now god of badness, born a Mahjraart (sp?) Iban - A follower of Zamorak, now a God (upon completion of While Guthix Sleeps) Bandos - The God of Goblins and Ogres Armadyl - The God of the skies/wings. Any others you want to know? Wow you're so far off it's sad. Saradomin would be a equivalent to the Christian God. Moralistic and obsessive over purity, even to the extent that the quest to be pure denies his followers freedom. However, his true motives lie in being the "one true god" and being worshiped by all. He has no qualms about venturing into gray areas when it comes to "fighting evil." Guthix is indeed the God of balance. There is no information whatsoever to support Guthix being the father of anyone. Guthix, Saradomin, and Zamorak refer to each other as brothers, but it's a title rather than a sign of relation. It equates to something like fraternity brothers. Zamorak is a god of chaos, not "badness." He was a mahjarrat general in Zaros's army. He, along with followers, betrayed Zaros and became a God himself.(you can find the full story in the ghostly robes miniquest.) Iban is a mage, supposedly the son of Lucien. He's not a god in any way. Lucien is a former Mahjarrat general, and the father of Iban. He seems to be attempting to follow in the footsteps of Zamorak and ascend to godhood. He posesses both the staff of Armadyl and the Stone of Jas. Bandos is the god of war. He commands the warlike races such as goblins, ogres, and trolls, by taking advantage of their stupidity and their high regard for physical strength. Armadyl is the god of law. He tends to side with Saradomin against lawbreakers such as Bandos and Zamorak. It is likely he would be a powerful force if ever reunited with his staff, which seems to have the power to make or break other gods. However, without it he would seem to be severely weakened. Zaros is still a bit of a mystery. Although it is likely he shares many of the same traits as Zamorak, He would have been much more powerful, and his true goals would like in the conquering and destruction of the entire world. He would match up well with baal from the Diablo II expansion. There is also the Elven goddess Seren, and the Desert pantheon, and Jas, little is known about these at this point. Oops I listed Lucien as the father of Iban, I meant Zamorak. Got my facts a bit twisted. Close, but not entirely. Bandos - God of war. He loves to fight, and that his main drive. He forced certain races to fight for him. Goblins, for example, were dragged out of their realm Yu'biusk to fight for him. Guthix saw no qualm in this. These races, being forced to do nothing but fight, lost their intelligence over the several thousand years under Bandos' command. Armadyl - The god of law and justice. This is all we know of him. His followers, the aviantese, would welcome and pair up others to uphold this justice. It could be said the aviantese were a kind race. As these got extinct, Armadyl wept and left. Seren - Not made by Guthix. Likely an entity that was around prior to or at the same Guthix came in. She made the crystals. Marimbo - Formerly a pet of Guthix that got embedded by power of his former master. He gave intelligence to certain monkeys. Jas is an elder god. Existing prior to even Guthix.

Can anyone tell me why fire is the cheapest rune in RS?
People seem to forget that Fire Runes are the main training method of most Runecrafters lvl 16-44. So yeah.

April Fools :P
Just update the skills interface and show a Sailing button, which, when clicked, just shows: "Happy April 1st!".

Smithing 73-88...
XP. So it doesn't matter what you to train. And I'd really recommend just to use them. Use dwarven stouts for 87-88.
