  1. Do I need to change my outfit to cater to Ranged then?
  2. Things like these are the explanations I like, thanks. Random... I guess. But useful, considering I'm on a black dragon task.
  3. I DIY Dragon items. And Dragon Chainbody and Dragon 2hander are two of the few I have left to get.
  4. How many ppots, any prayer? Super set? Brews? Anything?
  5. It's not that, it's just that people get the tendency to always point out that "my attack and strength are too low to do it decently". I just want to point that I'm ok with doing it indecently. :P
  6. The recommended gear and inventory for my levels (see sig)? DO NOT tell me to train Attack/Strength, it won't happen.
  7. Be up to date. 't was not just chosen to troll Habbo. Some Habbo mod made a racist remark regarding black people, so 4chan stood up, dressed as black as possible and protested in the way they know best... by trolling. Also :twss: My secondary account, Funkmasta Z, was solely made to train to 69 Smithing/60 Agility whatnot to be able to do Rocking Out and get the Curly hair. Guess that won't be needed now.
  8. Good read. Although I like the Mahjarrat/Dragonkin related quest series more. Probably because we've been in the blue for a couple a years now.
  9. about 12hours less if you run the whole time more if you dont pay attention So not worth it then?
  10. How long would it take self-tanning 12k green hides?
  11. What would be a good way of getting 86 crafting (80 at the moment) without too much loss? Also, I have 192 battlestaves at the moment. Thanks in advance.
  12. Hard to do anything about it now. Guess you've been hacked. Good thing is, is that Jagex is easing up on blackmarks. Try going to this thread: QC: 103-104-3-58567982 It's closed now, but usually it's open.
  13. Wrong. If visage was 1/1000 then the chance of getting one after two kills is 2/1000, or 1/500. Wrong, if the droprate of visage was 1/1000, the chances of you obtaining one would be: 1 kill: 1-(999/1000)^1 2 kills: 1-(999/1000)^2 So a 0.1999% chance. Now this is close to 1/500, but that logic goes away fast. Point in case, after 1000 kills: 1000 kills: 1-(999/1000)^1000 = 0.632 or a 63.2% chance Determing chances (and this applies to all drops in runescape) is: 1-[(A-1)/A]^B Where A is the droprate, as in 1/A (if a droprate is 1/500, A is 500) And B is the number of kills It should give a number =< 1, and you have to multiply it by 100 to know the percentage. And this isn't a crystal ball either. It solely decides what chance it is of having gotten a drop, not to decide what your next drop'll be. But that doesn't matter, if you want a 100% chance, you'll need to kill infinite monsters, which is impossible (or unless the droprate is 1/1).
  14. Interacting between two of your accounts was always against the rules. ...And it's virtually impossible now as well
  15. go kill 1k gargoyles with row then 1k gargoyles w/o row and then crunch the numbers to find out how many mauls and rfh's u get/1k kills with each and hope that stays true to all monsters/drops cause jagex aint gonna give you numbers You'd need to kill an infinite number of foes to know for sure. Also, why wouldn't they give numbers? What's wrong with knowing a number? They told us how much better a Dragon Axe was compared to Rune. This is information they can hand out (it's not future content) which only they know. Ideal for a dev interview.
  16. I see that many people in this world hath conflicting and contrary ideas as to how the ring of wealth may help them. Allow me to set this straight once and for all. 1) If thou consider the possessions of an enemy to be like a roulette wheel, then the 'rare' items so coveted by players are located on a second roulette wheel, that will only be spun shouldst thou roll a specific number on the first wheel. The ring of wealth affects not the number which thou may achieve upon the first wheel, but should thou gain the precise number to allow thee access to the second, the ring will make thy chances of gaining an object on that second roulette wheel all the greater. My analogy is flawed, for death is not like roulette, but I hope that thou see the truth within this. 2) Life hath no schedule to follow, for it is an ever evolving process, and the nature of balance decrees that things occur when they must occur. However, all events hath their patterns, and by scrutinising that which hath occurred before thou may see the patterns that run through things, and mayhaps predict when new events might be brought about upon this world... http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarticle.ws?article_id=375 And that tells me how much? Tell me, how long is a piece of string? Just like they did with the Dragon Axe, I want figures. Not just some vague "slightly faster woodcutting" like has been used until that Q&A. Likewise, I want to know just how much a RoW influences drops. A roulette wheel won't suffice in the slightest.
  17. Also a question that should be asked next interview: "Considering the massive downgrading of former anti-RWT updates, are you considering reverting all former anti-RWT updates (like splitting Pure and Rune Essence, for one)?"
  18. Next time, ask this: "How exactly does the Ring of Wealth work and how does it influence drops (and by how much)?" It's been bugging me for years!
  19. Don't use a Demon Butler. For training purposes, you rarely need such speed or inventory capacity anyway. 28 Items, do you ever need them? - Training construction - No, you always have to have a saw, hammer, coins and the noted item itself in your inventory - 4 inventory spaces gone to waste. - Making teletabs - No, you always need runes, the tablet, coins and the noted clay in your inventory - Again 4 inventory spaces gone to waste. A normal butler can store 20 items: much better. For Oak Larders you can bring a saw, coins and hammer (+ another item, maybe a prototool if using SC Hammers). Make 2 larders (save 4 planks in inventory), unnote 20 more and make 3 larders. Rince and repeat. Oak doors are even easier, 10 planks per door, so you can do 20 at once. Do you ever need the speed? No. With a Butler you can Make a door - Destroy door - Call Butler to unnote 20 items - Make door - Destroy door - Butler is back with items. And you're paying twice as much for the Demon Butler than for a regular one. Trust me, it's not faster (exactly the same speed for training) and it's much, much more expensive.
  20. From what I remember, Zaros was a more sophisticated Bandos. He ruled a large portion of the world (He owned everything from Port Phasmatys to Edgeville) and took the Mahjarrat under his wing after Icthlarin didn't show them combat. But still, the player has always defended AND opposed a God during quests. Think: vs Bandos in The Chosen Commander, vs. Armadyl in Temple of Lucien, vs. Zamorak is countless quests, vs. Saradomin in other God related quests (Saradomin vies for total control), vs. Guthix in While Guthix Sleeps (the character was well-aware that he should not seek out the Stone of Jas). Yet, the character has nevery imposed Zaros. And what would the player do when he is resurrected? For playing such a large role in his rebirth, I bet Zaros would, in one way or the other, reward the player. And, if I could, I would personally follow Zaros' side as well. A Bandos with more power, intelligence, influence with you taking a front seat in all of it, perhaps even take part in it? Yes please.
  21. Yeah, I mean, so far the player is on the good side of Zaros (for making him known again), Azzanadra, Akthanakos, Jhallan and the desert bandits. Come to think of it, the player is already playing a huge role on Zaros' side.
  22. In the beginning, there was nothing. At least, not for Zaros in RuneScape at least. Vanished for thousands of years with his name all-but-unknown. Yet then, a player came on. This player revealed this mighty god existed during the Digsite quest, unraveling forgotten tales by chance. Furthermore, this player assisted the few followers of Zaros that still exist, the desert bandits, by removing all of Zamorak's 4 watchmen guarding over the seal that trapped Azzanadra, Zaros' loyal guardian, thus granting him his freedom. Also, somewhere else in the desert, the player stumbled upon an ancient tomb where another Zaros' guardian was eternally trapped by a Zamorakian foe. The player, unbeknowst, set free Akthanakos, who'd continue fighting his Zamorakian foe on the eternal battlefield. And, much much later in the future, the player ventured out again. And again, the player set free one of Zaros' few followers that was thought eternally trapped... This begs the question though... In what way are we actually helping the resurrection of Zaros? From the few things we know, he was quite the evil God, yet our player is inadvertedly and unbeknowingly setting him free. We have so far always helped him, unlike all other gods which we have had a toss with. It seems the player is becoming a vital role in the whole Zaros case. What is the relation between Zaros and the player? Will we go alongside him or, for the very first time, opppose him? Discuss...
  23. Use Metal, modern Punk Rock or (Scr)emo music and conform to RuneScape stereotypes. Try something different? I've neveer heard Jazz on a RS Vid before. :P
  24. I have my POH in Yanille, so scratching Watchtower was a no brainer for me. And if you're that keen on being close to Sumona, buy the option to make Rings of Slaying. It allows for 8 teleports, one of which directly to Sumona. All it takes is a Gold bar, an Enchanted gem and 75 Crafting (which can be assisted anyway).
