  1. ...Of the following: DFH from Mithril Dragons D2H from KQ and Chaos Elemental Dchain from KQ And a Draconic Visage from Mithrils Dragons, Iron Dragons, Steel Dragons, Black Dragons and the KBD. Thanks in advance.
  2. I think you just need to bring 15 logs and left click the beacon. Could be off, though.
  3. Astrals - The absolute best would be to wear semi-decent melee defence while staying at 0 or under kilogram. I use this outfit: [*:f9plz4t0]Dragon med [*:f9plz4t0]Varrock Armour 3 [*:f9plz4t0]Staff of Earth [*:f9plz4t0]Spottier cape [*:f9plz4t0]Barrows gloves [*:f9plz4t0]Boots of lightness [*:f9plz4t0]Glory (obviously) [*:f9plz4t0]Ring of Duelling [*:f9plz4t0]Holy book That, with the 4 pouches puts me at 0 kg. I use an Abyssal Lurker familiar with super pots. Withdraw a nice amount of Law runes, then craft runes and do Moonclan group teleport. Run back, rince and repeat. Although I'm told I'm terribly slow ( ), I manage about 12K xp per familiar. Don't count on getting much more than me, though. ZMI - Much recommended. There are plethora of guides regarding this, so browse around in the Archive and YouTube. Although others are said to be able to make 48K xp/hr at my lvl, I can't go past 39k on my best run. You won't make loss, but it's much more worthwhile. Don't bother with moneymaking now, you can earn enough when you get 91 RC. Graahk - 91 RC, otherwise I'd advise against it.
  4. Actually, it is not the same for all Dragons. Just recently I've seen a similar thread in RSOF, with a jmod commenting that the KBD's drop rate is significantly higher than of the other Dragons. Also, considering it's a bonus drop (like Clue/Champion scrolls), RoW most likely won't affect it.
  5. Tedious work... I'm at certain levels where nothing is tedious work anymore. Quick bank check today, just 28 items: I don't really need to make money.
  6. I'm not sure what you're trying to say... You suggesting me to skill to afford dragon items?
  7. Time to spruce up this little ol' bitty. Basic stuff really. I've stopped caring to get specific levels a while back though so they just come as they come. Current goals -95+ Stats Past milestones -2400 Total - 26 March, 2013 -99 Defence - 25 March, 2013 -99 Hitpoints - 14 March, 2013 -99 Magic - 5 March, 2013 -99 Ranged - 4 March, 2013 -99 Dungeoneering - 26 February, 2013 -99 Summoning - 23 December, 2012 -99 Slayer - 23 December, 2012 -99 Runecrafting - 17 September, 2011 -Quest cape - 10 February, 2008 I always liked Dragon items. Their power and largely unavailability when I started playing was mystical. However, 2007 on I found people stopped caring about these items which I found a shame. So early 2009 I set myself a goal: obtaining all dragon items. However, that could easily be done with a bit of cash if I ever got rich. So I set myself an even grander goal: get them from their source personally. Just me. No other person to help me. I decided I'd keep what I kept (which were all the shop items and Dragon sq shield and 3 Armour pieces) and went on my way. While I never was totally focused on one thing in Runescape, I still consider it an ongoing goal of mine. The list: Yet to obtain 466+ Mithril dragon kills 1/100 Chewed bones 256 Tormented demon kills ~Queen black dragon kills Past drops (Not depicted: caught, looted and fletched Arrows/darts, shop purchases) -Dragon chainbody - 3 November, 2012 -Dragon plateskirt (legit)- 22 June, 2012 -Dragon 2h sword - 23 February, 2011 -Dragon defender - 7 December, 2010 -Dragon spear - 29 March, 2010 -Dragon pickaxe - 25 September, 2009 -Dragon boots - 6 June, 2009 -Dragon plateskirt (PvP, so doesn't really count) - 17 May, 2009 -Dragon hatchet - 30 April, 2009 -Dragon platelegs - 26 April, 2009 -Dragon plate smithing - 19 March, 2009 Unreleased (so far) -Dragon bolts -Dragon (offhand) sword -Dragon brutal arrows -Dragon hasta -Dragon (offhand) knives -Dragon (offhand) throwing axes -Dragon spikeshield -Dragon (offhand) warhammer -Dragon berserker shield -Dragon cane I like playing RS whilst looking good. 8. That's like giving everyone in real life a death sentence automatically. Not making any difference between rapists and guys that got wasted, started sleeping in the street because he just heard his wife was pregnant. I believe the people who do not look beyond past mistakes, not being able to grant redemption, to be extremely dumb and short-sighted people. I just do. Means you literally do not think about these things at all and just judge based on the very few information you have.
  9. Mediocracy is a word, although granted not the best. Adjusted accordingly. :)
  10. I held my ctrl button down during the entire ordeal. Seriously, if I don't move my mouse, the speed will pick up and I get that gif'd problem.
  11. The first drop works like a charm... but the next. When I hold control, it always goes a bit further than it did on the first time, effectively making it impossible for me to powerdrop. Any ideas on how to resolve it?
  12. No it's not. Aside from the people that actively hunt for them, which is a small percentage, most of the monsters that drop the scrolls cater to the low-mid level players. High leveled players don't have the tendency, aside from killcounts in GWD, to actually hunt for Goblins, Imps, Jogres etc. Thus, a new low-lvl player might end up with an Imp Champion scroll by chance, imagine him going to the Champion's Guild only to see a lvl 400 roidraged Imp shuffle about hitting accurate 30s. That's not exactly good. I say, if you want to make strong, worthy bosses, do it for the race champions (TzHaar, Werewolves, etc) as there will be only a slim chance to catch people unprepared.
  13. I've got a nice pile of Harralander saved up from a few weeks of MTK. Now, what's the best thing to make with them? Do know I collect all secondaries myself. I've been thinking of either Energy potions, Combat potions or Harralander tar. What would be the most efficient?
  14. How is it a rant? I'm just taking random stereotypes and common things I noticed and I blend them into a single character, which I named Joe. Let's review: [*:34tvoejv] That outfit, or slight variations thereof, are amongst the most common outfits you see on people. Walk around in the GE area, and you'll probably find one without much trying. [*:34tvoejv] Green dragons is amongst the most quoted moneymakers in the game for mid-level players. [*:34tvoejv] Godswords are fabled. Never noticed a few people begging for one? Never got asked if you have a Godsword by a new player? Godswords are *it*. [*:34tvoejv] Bandos is amongst the most practised boss fights in the GWD. If you are ever asked to go on a GWD trip, how many times is it the Bandos one? [*:34tvoejv] Strength IS the most common trained combat stat. Statistic prove it, people prove it. Take a survey of 50 random RuneScapers and compare their combat stats. How often does Strength end first? [*:34tvoejv] Experiments are amongst the most quoted ways of powertraining at low levels. [*:34tvoejv] Dharok is the highest in-demand Barrow's set. [*:34tvoejv] Cooking and Fletching are the 2 most common 99s, solely beaten by Strength. I've seen a lot of people I know get a "special" 99 (ie: the rarer ones like Crafting, Agility...) only to trim it with Cooking/Fletching for an easy trim. [*:34tvoejv] Ask around, most people *hate* quests. On top of that, I've asked around a few days ago to some guys who had a quest cape as well, most of them did not pay any attention to the dialogue. When asked about the Myreque storyline, they often couldn't get much further than: "It involved vampires...I think..." [*:34tvoejv] Only few actually read updates. Ever wield something which was new, only to be asked 10+ times that day what the hell it is you're wearing? Never been asked where an event/happening was when it easily shows on the Front page? Never simply went: "Boy, that change to X makes things so much easier now" - "Why, what changed?" [*:34tvoejv] The rants forum is perpetually one of the most active forums on the RSOF. Ever visited the Rants forum during a negative update (like December 2007)? If so, read all the constructive rants and compare it do all the dismissive rants. [*:34tvoejv] Simply the most played minigames of all. kthx.
  15. I'm surprised everyone started addressing Joe as a single entity, as I was referring to the larger, "commonfolk" of RuneScape. :P
  16. Behold, this is a RuneScape player. Just like you. Let's call him Joe. Joe is wearing a Granite body, Dragon platelegs, RoW, Dragon medium helmet, Abyssal Whip, Amulet of Glory, Dragon boots, Dragon gauntlets, Obsidian cape and an Obsidian shield. Certainly a step-up from his Rune Platebody, his Rune skirt/platelegs and his Rune boots. He also spent many days saving up for that Abyssal whip of his, and killed countless of Green dragons to fund it. Joe's aspirations are to, one day, own a Godsword. As we all know, Godswords are cool and the ultimate weapon for any situation. Yet, he can't fund one, not yet. That's why he's training to be able to go to the GWD one day. He set his sight on General Graardor, as that fits his stats the best. After all, Strength is his main form of combat. Attack is a close second. Before he could wield the awesome weapons he owns, he trained on Experiments to get to the level he is now. He does not care much for Defence, as it is pretty pointless to have if you could hit high and often! In that respect, he's also saving up for Dharok's armour. Who doesn't want to be able to hit 100+?! Another goal of his is to own an Achievement cape, though he does not care which, he just wants a 99 for the sake of having a 99. Therefore, he set his sights on Cooking and/or Fletching, as they are cheap and quite fast. In the rare case of him actually getting another 99 first, chances are he will use either of those two to trim it, because trims are cool. Aside from Green dragon killing and training for either his 99 or ability to go to the Godwars Dungeon, he doesn't do much. He does not like quests, and only did some to recharge his Glory. In some instances, he might push the enveloppe and try for the Barrow gloves from RFD. Or, he might turn around and actually like questing, but not for the sake of the story, but for the ability to one day wear the Quest cape. Don't expect him to know anything at all of the quest he did last! The how and why totally passed him by. He isn't too observant either, and usually pays only poor attention to recent updates. As such, he relies on others to tell him what happened today. If in any case something happened that negatively affected him, he bolts to the Rants forum. He will fill his thread with childish foulmouthing, usually regarding how everyone's not heterosexual, threatening to give up his $5 a month and how Jagex employee's mums are lame (or variations thereof). He sure showed them! His punctuation and spelling are subpar also... well, as long as he's (sort of) understandable, right? As for minigames, he doesn't do much of them. He's mostly limited to Castle wars, Duel Arena and maybe Pest Control and Soul Wars. After all, that's XP right there! And, other than his melee (or sometimes, the entire array of combat) and the odd skill he trained to get his fabled cape, he rarely trains any other skill. That's Joe for ya! Truly a unique persona... wait, what? Yes yes, I know that was long-winded, but the point still stands: How are YOU different from the average Joe on RuneScape?
  17. A little extreme in terms of rewards. As for the Champion Challenge in general, there have been many similar suggestions. See here: Champion's Challenge in dire need of an update The Champions of Champions (My idea on the matter)
  18. How you need 90 crafting to make a fury... [/hide] True I completely forgot about stews :wall: Sorry Do you just video everything you do to have proof? =D> Only the things that require me to spend over 7 hours in Stealing Creation to get tools to get a skill to in the high 80s, so I can stew it up and make the item in question. Which, to this date, has been smithing my Dragon platebody and making that Fury.
  19. How you need 90 crafting to make a fury... [hide=This][/hide]
  20. I already do this for Dragon items and other pieces of armour. Smithed my own Dragon platebody, got my own Dragon platelegs, hatchet and gauntlets. I also got my own Berserker ring, Obsidian cape, Skeletal and Rockshell armour set, Splitbark set. And today, I made my own fury. Trust me, DIY-ing armour makes them so much more rewarding and special.
  21. No, except for flatpackable items. I don't think either of them are flatpackable. Actually, I'm 100% sure regarding the Altar.
  22. Typical? No. Expected? Yes. Most people assume lvl 130s+ always know better than everyone else does, even if that other person might know far more about the subject. Either way, the basic idea is: the higher the lvl, the higher the knowledge.
  23. Won't we all be trolled if the eventual reward is a Dragon thrownaxe? Or better yet, Dragon cannonballs, colloquially known as Dragonballs. :twss:
  24. Ring of Wealth got me 3 Dragon claws, 2 Dragon medium helmets, 1 Dragon platelegs, 1 Dragon hatchet, 2 Berserker rings and 2 Warrior rings. Even if it's superstition, I will continue to use it on all boss monsters.
