Oh shi~ Items that will go up/down in price now: - {++} Master wand and Ancient staff (dur) - {+} Deaths (maybe) - {-} Water runes (since you can now autocast Ancient with a water staff) - {++} Raw bird meat - {+} Vials (of water) - {++} (Uncut) Onyx, Fury, Onyx ring, Berserker necklace - Onyx is now 300k in shop, selling fire runes will no longer work anymore to accumulate Tokkul. My prediction anyway.

FunOrb Update != Runescape Update
Unknown_Warrior replied to GlowinRedM's topic in General Discussion
It's to divert the attention away from 2 weeks without Runescape updates. -
1M+, rest is pocket change. Though even that is exceedingly rare if you got an Angel of Death.

Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
Unknown_Warrior replied to forestfrolic's topic in General Discussion
Still no hints as to next week's update. ...No, they can't be serious, can they? FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU -
Yeah yeah, peril might not be the ideal word. Basically, I've hatched 4 Penguins eggs so far, and I keep on getting the same penguin (the red-tinted one). Is this coincidence, or is it predefined of what penguin you're going to get? You see, I hate the red-tinted one.

Bosses are your best bet. Tormented demons, especially, have great Blue charm drop rates. Last trip, I killed 14, of which I got 21 blue charms, 12 gold, 6 crimsons and 3 greens.

How to: 80 Mining, Hunter and Summoning + 85 Agility
Unknown_Warrior replied to Unknown_Warrior's topic in Help and Advice
"Efficient" and "Fun" aren't symonyms. He wanted the most efficient method, and I am explaining it. I also believe that fun is a priority, but the most efficient method is that, the most efficient method. Even if it isn't fun for some people, you can't change the fact that it is (theortically) the best way to train. Although I would agree, if training some other way is more enjoyable, you should by all means train it that way. I don't mind fun, not at all, it's just that I experienced most of these skills to be quite funless. If there're fun ways to train Mining, Agility and Hunter, I certainly won't condemn people for sharing it. -
How to: 80 Mining, Hunter and Summoning + 85 Agility
Unknown_Warrior replied to Unknown_Warrior's topic in Help and Advice
Thanks for the great help zaaps. And jaffy, like I said, I prefer efficiency, but I do tend to try stuff out and found your method quite enjoyable. Definitely something I'd consider when taking a break or going F2P. -
Haha, yeah, it's mostly the silliest of things that do it. Glad to be of help.

Try dis- and reassembling it? Edit: Maybe it doesn't have scrolls in it? Check your bank for other enchanted headgear. Maybe there is one with scrolls in it (which may be the reason you can't charge your slayer helmet).

How to: 80 Mining, Hunter and Summoning + 85 Agility
Unknown_Warrior replied to Unknown_Warrior's topic in Help and Advice
Hmm, Dust Devils, I totally forgot about those... Thanks! Edit: If I use my Blue charms, I could get as much as 79 Summoning. Use them or not? -
It's a lot, I know. Bear with me. So I want to get 80 Mining, Hunter, Summoning and 85 Agility, but I'm doubting as to what the most efficient way to do it is. For Mining: I am level 71 (nearly 72). I have access to all quest and achievement diary rewards and Obsidian Golems for their noticable Mining boost. I also have a Superior locator. I was wondering what would be the best? I was thinking of either powermining Granite or powermining Iron ore. What would be the best? Or is there something even better? How long would it take, too? For Hunter: I am level 73. I got an Arctic bear and all camouflage gear. Should I go for Red Chinchompas or Red Salamanders. Though I tend to dislike power-sallying (for lack of a better word) so is it a vastly superior training method than Red chins? Also, is there a fun way to get train Hunter (I tend to not be able to do it for more than 15-30 minutes straight, waste of Arctic bear almost) :? Again, how long would this take? For Summoning: I am level 74. I currently have the charms for 77, or maybe even 78, with my stats in my Signature, should I focus on a specific monster, simply do Slayer or SW for my remaining charms? For Agility: I have level 81. I have the Agile legs and a truckload of Summer pies. Is using them at Gnome advance to 85 a good idea? Or should I go to Ape atoll or Dorgeshkaan instead (or better alternatives?). And, you guessed it, how long would this about take. Thanks in advance!

Any god bird apparently takes ~12 hours from birth-adult (and from personal experience, this seems about true). Most averages can be found on the wiki, though.

You wanna take this outside?

Pictures of those TIFers! ~All NEW!~

What is this sniping? -
I remember a post on the RSOF talking about how difficult it was to program waiting rooms like the ones you see in Pest Control (Where a lot of people are in and only a few will be taken into the game), as well as having a mini-game with more than 2 teams, and it makes me wonder why they keep making mini-games with those kinds of lobbies. Because team-related minigames is what the community likes best. The community simply won't stand for it. Do you remember the outcries when Jagex stated they'd have to postpone updates? Ye. Inevitably, more time spent looking for bugs means less time to work on new updates. I'd prefer the 4 hours of bugs after an update if it means we get more updates that way. And what are you basing yourself on? What do you know about it? Perhaps the bug was caused by the server not able to discern between a thousand houses, which promptly caused a loophole and crash as a result? If it was that kind of bug, the QA couldn't have found it because they simply aren't with a thousand people. --------------------------------------------------------- In either case, I believe that if you decide to try out an update in its first 15 minutes - 1 hour of release, you're submitting yourself as a Beta tester. And if you decide to take your party hat set, 150M cash and full Bandos while doing it, you're responsible for anything that comes with that risk. The only time I believe Jagex is at fault is when it affects something that on a remote location. Say: logging off in an update and getting your Bank deleted. Or if it affects game-wide (like the non-attacking monsters bug). But all other times: whatever you're wearing, where your avatar is standing, whatever you have in your equipment or whatever you're making is entirely your responsibility during this time. That said, it was a good read. Anyone notice the QA turning into crows? :-k J-mod magic or a future item?

You will lose any head or fish you mounted if you take it down or remove the room. Only the armours are kept.
