Rune defender is better than both: Less defence, but the extra +20 attack bonus, +5 strength bonus is totally worth it. But given the choice between the two, yes, obsidian is worth it.

That sounds about right... It takes a whole lot of runes to kill iron dragons. For slayer, I always have preferred melee, but that's just me. 99 attack. Hehe. I would guess 2k-3k Chaos.

Yes, Rogues den is the closest fire. Another good place that you can power-cook fairly easily is the basement in recipe for diasaster. If you have completed the quest, there are alot of ingredients you can use.

Well, one of the best methods I have found is this: Set up your inventory with about 50k-100k cash, sets of Varrock teleports, and Falador teleports. Teleport to Falador, and walk down to the Port Sarim runes shop. Trade Betty, and buy up all the fires, airs, (Earths and waters can be harder to sell but will make a profit.), and maybe minds. Do this until the cost reaches 10-11 each, as that will stop it from being cost-effective. When this happens, world hop and repeat the process. When you have run out of money, you should have a sizeable collection of runes to sell. Teleport to Varrock, and go near the entrance of the bank. Hop to world 1, and sell all the runes. Airs go for 15-20 each, fires 15-20 each, earths and waters usually 15 each, minds 15-20 each. When you sell them, you should make a 100-200k profit. Repeat this entire process, maybe bringing more money with you this time. My younger brother used this method to get full Guthix in less than a week (F2P), with only an hour to hour and a half of playing a day.

Make yourself into a tank. Get 70 attack and strength, then just train defence, magic, and ranged to 99. If you do that, you could win mucho moneys PK'ing, ranged/mage staking... Etc. overall, 10/10, I'm loving the stats so far. Become a tank, and it would be sweet
