RWT is something that will never leave the game, as long as free trade exists They may be able to reduce botting if they kick it into overdrive, but people sell always sell gold, especially if they plan to quit or hit it big @ DA

Most of these names are unimportant to me and to the timeline of Runescape... Zezima, N0valyfe, Bluerose13x, Xx Jut Xx, Sixfeetunder, The Sabre clan, Durial321, those are names that'll stick for a while, at least for those who know their history. Most if not all of these new "iconic" people will come and go soon enough. A year and a bit ago I was hailed as one of the most influential people on the game because the Climbing Boots ordeal, amongst other things. "Logdotzip for CEO!" etc, etc, basically last year's Jiblix. I still get recognized plenty in game, for that and for Youtube videos and such, but honestly, I find it a joke that people consider RuneScape Youtubers iconic in any way shape or form. Sparc Mac? Win All Day? etc? What TRUE influence have they made on the game? None whatsoever. There may have been someone who felt much stronger about the Climbing boots than I, someone may have felt much stronger about bots than Jiblix. You know the only reason myself or him got pushed ahead of others who were also discontent? We have a platform of expression that reaches a larger audience. Aside from that, we have made zero game-changing events happen. We are like the rest. I have not nor will I ever consider myself Iconic or famous or whatever. I, as well as no other player, should be awarded or given extra recognition for something we should all do anyways (The right thing). Unfortunately, the average playerbase age of RuneScape is very low in contrast to most other MMO's, so it's quite easy to warp the minds of the youth into thinking people with a lot of subscribers have some form of worth because of said subscribers. Unwarranted Self-importance, and what's sad is, a lot of people on Youtube don't even want it, they're given it by other ignorant people. People will forget about what Jiblix did in time, and while I do think it's cool the stand he made, so did everyone about me when I did it. Now it's just a bygone memory.

they are overblown, rs still has more years of life in it than most are crediting it for. most mmo's have had the stuff we're just now seeing being introduced into rs, for years. the game will do fine, the money will allow for some growth, some i dont deny the game still is on the decline, moreso than ever though

yes, they claimed visual content, which to be fair is theres, but not only have i been given explicit permission from them before to upload, but they only did it on the video s***ttalking their program, not any of my others

ye they're cracking down, they filed a copyright claim on a video i had up yesterday basically downtrodding on the "Refer Yourself Program", so I had to remove it, or face a channel suspension. i guess their authority crosses over to other sites now, better keep my lips a little tighter

I understand how ancient this is, but I just thought it was really cool, and after watching the episodes, I found it interesting how the game has progressed to how it is now. However, please take yourself to the duel arena and try to observe any messages being typed other than ones similar to my own. Very context specific, and something Jagex realizes, but doesn't care to rectify, assuming they even looked over the context, or my appeal for that matter, which I know they didn't. Damn. Run-on, sorta. That place isn't where you go to hold conversations, everyone was doing the same thing as me. Doesn't make it alright, in theory, but come on. I just thought it was funny.

I would bot the skills I hate and play legit as normal A list of things I would bot Fishing Mining Runecrafting Hunter Agility Thieving Naturally those skills, pretty much all of them, don't require money to train, RC needing a little starting cash, and others needing tools, but generally those don't take anything to level up. Skills that cost money to train in a realistic manner, I would make the money for myself. I would then proceed to bot the grinding of the skills with the money I didn't bot. Such as Crafting hides Fletching arrows Smithing bars Making tables etc. None of these are fun for me, I like the end result, not the journey there.

I know someone who did that and they had the police knocking at their door. I don't really think they read the appeal themselves, more so the evidence involved. Well hey, sometimes that might be worth an unban! hah. And I don't think theyr ead them either, but I think if certain words get used I.E. "Kill, Bot", etc., a flag gets raised.

It sucks, because I got muted for constantly typing "box 'x'm logdotzip" at the duel arena, a common practice, and when this was explained to them, my appeal was denied and I will have that mark for an entire year. Maybe I would have had better luck if I simply told them to go f**k themselves. Probably would have been accepted. By the way, another way to get out of most mutes / bans is saying you'll kill yourself if it doesn't get appealed. They next to always appeal it in that case, as well as link you to suicide prevention websites, and then say something along the lines of "You cannot use this as an excuse again"
