  1. It's sad that I'm not excited about this. Mostly because since it's a member's loyalty type of thing, I doubt it will be TOO useful to begin with. Just the feeling I have.
  2. Yeah there's no saying if RWTers are good or bad IRL, I just meant they could be either, but if they're bad, it isn't necessarily because of selling gold.
  3. You're right, I absolutely value each and every skill in this game less than I do real money, as do my friends who are in need of it. I don't see RWTers as bad people at all, they're NOT bad people, they just understand that $100 is going to get them further than, oh, I don't know, ~230m
  4. It is bad and not just because Jagex says so. Gp plays an important function in this game, someone with a large gp pile can easily gain nearly half the skillcapes in the game, and generally speaking, skills become faster when you have more money to throw around on equipment and supplies(maxed combat and slayer with overloads for instance) Right and I fail to see how that's necessarily bad. It's unfortunate but it's true that money = privilege and the way it stands currently, the same rule applies in RS. I would still rather the current system over any proposed micro-transactions, for the sake of my friends, and because if Jagex did sell gold, far more people would buy it over the current amount. I'm sure plenty of people would buy gold if it was legal/encouraged over how many do now, currently being illegal Plus, Jagex can create gold, current RWTers just move it around. Can anyone say inflation?
  5. I would rather the current sitch, because while I personally don't break rules or RWT, I have friends that sell gold, who are in desperate situations IRL, and are able to make an easy billion or two a week on RS, and this nets them some IRL financial stability. Having Jagex sell gold eliminates this. And as far as I am concerned, the only reason RWT is bad is because Jagex said it is, so just keep that in mind before some of you go all judgmental mode
  6. How ignorant and selfish of you.
  7. I'm glad it's not allowed still, technically Then gold prices would plummet and a lot of my good friends would be making far less money off their staking earnings. Three of my friends have new cars, amongst other purchases, thanks to Jagex's lack of giving a s**t. It's like free money out of nowhere. I say no against tip.it encouraging botting and such for the above reason, not because I care about the rules and morals attached to them.
  8. I voted yes and I wouldn't change my vote. I love Free Trade. I also love this brand new laptop.
  9. I won 19 in a row one day, all pretty low value stakes, but turned 300m into a divine in about 2 hours, back when divine was 1.2 nice job
  10. Stoppin botters, friend of mine anyways
  11. Honestly haven't a clue when it comes to stuff like this, but maybe this will be of some service, as I don't see any way to turn off Optimus
  12. well I had gone through windows built in driver udpater, which ma have been the problem. But theyre up to date now. deleting the cache did nothing for me. it is a fairly new graphics card, they may not have tested rs on it yet. but as of now the problem is still unresolved
  13. Anyone else have any clue, or a place I could ask instead?
  14. Unfortunately even updating the driver did nothing for me
  15. Only happens with the interfaces / menus, I would assume if it was loose cables it would affect more than that. I know this has to be fixable, I just don't know where to begin looking.
  16. You could just make a new account for the low-end levels. The tutorial has been removed so you spawn in Lumbridge right after you create your character.
  17. That's just it, that is what's wrong with it. The game world itself is fine. The menus and a few icons are the problems. Resizing / Everything mentioned above didn't help at all. GPU-Z
  18. That did nothing for me I am afraid I don't know what to do to remedy the situation, nothing new that I havent yet tried is coming to mind. I appreciate your help thus far anyways, but it's still not right.
  19. I can't even find DirectX on my computer to uninstall it with, much less do I know which one I would need to reinstall. I imagine I have it, since DirectX *does* run, just runs ugly. Any chance you could direct me in the right way?
  20. Must be glitching or something One of his videos has the RSN Simitari In both Staking videos he has, you can tell the account he's staking with starts with a different letter. Coupled with the fact that most of his clips have people saying he glitched, seems fishy Enjoy your ill-gotten money I guess.
  21. 2x does nothing for me either sadly
  22. Couldn't you just take already proven average experience rates/hr and divide them by the the amount of experience each resource provides to get a rough approximation of how long it takes to get one specific resource? Seems like you're doing things ass-backwards. Who would need information about how long it takes to gather x log with a bronze hatchet anyways? You should always use the best tool you can for your level.
