I'd say runecrafting.... Why? 1) I've seen multiple people with an untrimmed slayer cape and none with untrimmed rcing cape. 2) There are not many people with 99 rcing compared to other skills 3) People who got it to 99 acquired lots of money by doing it: doesn't that prayer/herblore/construction/cooking/crafting/fletching/... cape sound tempting? Going to check the highscores right now if I can find someone with an untrimmed rcing cape!

Yes you sometimes have that problem when a game isn't optimized for a certain dual-core cpu.

Vista is slower then xp.... it isn't optimal yet so I wouldn't go for it. It's also a heavier load on your machine. Atleast 2GB RAM is recommended. Try selecting a different kind of java, you can do this at the High/Low detail screen. It's at the bottom. Weird problem cus I know it works on Ubuntu (7.04)

You can't string 4500 bows an hour.... more like 3000. I went to 99 by cutting and stringing magic bows.

Runescape is a great way to expand your english vocabulary when it isn't your motherlanguage. I also got a better insight in economics. The whole rs community comes close to real life...

Don't make the hi-scores based on total xp. Example: You can get easily get 1.5M xp a day by doing certain rather easy member skills like fletching/thieving/herblore. I don't know if many people here know this but bots need to be updated every time runescape updates. Jagex should further encrypt the java code of runescape so bot-creaters can't just "easily" deobfuscate the code to update their bots... It is already encrypted but it got decrypted quite some while ago by RichyT if I'm correct.

Ah yes people using the 'wine' trick at dummys, good old times :P More trading in draynor because of the certers altough W1 varrock was also 'filled' with people but thats nothing compared to the current situation. Servers were at 300-500 players most of the time when I played.

Yes ofcourse runescape uses moving frames, thats how the illusion of movement is made. In RSC you could see the amount of FPS (Frames Per Second) in the top corner of your runescape screen, this was later removed. I think it was locked at 27-30 fps.
