Why don't they try to make a profit out of mithril? Because in most cases it isn't profitable. This is a graph I made to calculate how much it would cost me to 85 smithing. As you can see mithril at 1.1K each bar, the price for large quantities, costs more then steel at 590 gp each. Mith is also faster to gain smithing xp, you don't find many people selling at 1K each because they know this :uhh:

I'm might time it sometime but I'm sure it's 400-450+ ores for me (86 mining). The higher the level, the faster.

I also tought about this, good idea but you do need some sort of protection so you don't burn valuables.

There already are lots of bots in p2p: flax, sharks, pure essence and yes also yews.

Wouldn't this be incredible much data to store for Jagex ? There's an average of 150.000 players on runescape at any time. That's 1.8 million players each day if you play 2 hours a day. Lets say they store it as text files. That's let's say 10MB for the average Joe. 1.800.000 * 10 = 18 million MB = 18000 GB = 18 TB a day. You'd say: "Ok it's a large number but isn't that hard to store that amount of data for a big company like Jagex". True but the thing that will be the problem I think is the network traffic. If lots of people download their log files the servers will get slowed down. It's like doubling the amount of players on rs. I don't see Jagex buying 10 new servers for this.

Make that granite into dragon and I support! (should be a metal) bronze -> iron -> steel -> black -> mith -> rune -> dragon here even is already a dragon wcing axe, what about that ? :P

Sure, why not ? Not paying for the game? Think again! there are millions of f2p players who all are forced to load those ads -> $$$ for jagex (I don't even think they 'loose' money on f2p servers trough these ads)

Don't support... There are already two trade screens, different coloured money, you even get warned to pay attention to that second screen everytime you trade! When is this going to end? 5 trade screens with 10 pop-ups and 10 different colours? Trading should be easy and quick.

They are all legal according to the law. Jagex has some self made up rules that clients have to follow. If you use SwiftSwitch, RsDemon or another client that follows those rules it won't be a problem. I'm thinking about making one myself :)

Not sure, but that looks like a house to me... Not saying you are wrong or anything, but was just a little curious... I think he is correct. Look at the picture of the jagex staff, you will see the 'jagex towers' trough the windows (big white building). Same on this pic: Maybe there is more then one 'St Andrews House' or its just the first house in the street =P~

Support! Great idea but needs a little cleaning up. 1. Good idea altough i'm not sure about the 'backspace' part. 2. That's not true, if you enter for (for example) 2*5+10*2= in a calculator it will come out correct as 30. That's one of the basics of mathematics. 3. Why a second trade screen? There is already a second one with a warning everytime you trade....

I support! Maybe something to add to the properties menu: share drops -> random or to the player who dealt most damage. Dunno wich one is better. Got this idea from another MMORPG I play called KalOnline. No mini-game tough, I'm getting sick of em lol, to many already. F2p needs this too, could get pking to a next level :P

Erm no if you are behind a router your ip will be exactly the same... The message in runescape that says "to many connections from your ip" is a fake, it's controlled by a filed called "uid."dat in a your "C:\WINDOWS\.jagex_cache_34" that checks if you got two rs clients running at the same time. To make a long story short: it won't get you banned.

Try using the AdBlock+, it's a addon for firefox. I don't get any ads/flash banners/popus/tracking cookies, this blocked 10,000 ads in the last month(s) :P
