  1. That's incredibly messed up. Your saying he should have demanded the teacher change his grades at gunpoint, because it would have netted him 1/4th the jail time, and probably have a less chance of being caught? Hacking, as related to technology: changing or modifying a computer system in a way different from its intended purpose. I 'hack' when I cobble together a basic script to automate fan control of my graphics card. Hacking isn't a bad thing. Changing your grades through hacking is a bad thing, deserving of a steep fine and community service. Not 70% of the rest of your life spent in jail.
  2. So your saying I should be allowed to leave for work in the morning at bandits, and come back in the evening with 1.5m more XP? Is that how Jagex wants people to play the game? Should I go buy some chinese gold farmer's maxed account instead of training my own, then growing bored and quitting in a month or so? Should I share my account with 5 other people, splitting up the 5$ a month fee? There's reasons behind all of these rules. Jagex is in this to make money. By account trading I meant sharing gold between different accounts, I thought that was the rule it was under. True about the money thing though, didn't think of that. Most people don't. 'all jagex cares about is money' is one of the insults that whiners frequently throw out there. Congrats, they finally got the message! Jagex only cares about money. LIKE EVERY OTHER COMPANY. As for account trading, opening that up would open up RWT again.
  3. Because the whole point of clue scrolls was to MAKE money. Now they're just an annoyance that takes you away from regular training. Its a game... the point of a game is to have fun. When you are so addicted to a game that the piles of cash are more important to you then the fun its time to take a break. A long break. Fun is entirely relative. Some of us don't like running around in circles doing the exact same clues 500 times for virtually no rewards. Treasure Trails were created as a break from regular training that could earn you some serious cash. Now that that's gone, it's like Trawler Fishing.

  5. 1 X Draconic Visage D Drops: 37, Barrows Drops: 39, DK Drops: 17 GWD drops: 11000+ addy bars 4 X Sara Sword, 1 X Saradomin Hilt, 6 X Bandos Hilt, 7 X Bandos Platebody, 8 X Bandos Tassets, 4 X Bandos Boots, 29 X Godsword Shard, 57 X Dragon Boots -.- That's out of date. It's actually 59 dragon boots. But what's your point? :?: Side note: All of the hilts were obtained on a crappy dial up connection that DCed once every 20-30 minutes and resulted in a total loss of ~45m.
  6. It's not your fault. Immature = thinking stupid things are awesome and make you look cool, then in 10 years looking back and thinking 'wow, I can't believe I actually did that'. It's genetics, your frontal lobes just haven't matured enough.
  7. Yes, you should. At least start before you start bashing it ;)
  8. Fight because it's easier than fighting? ..=D> #1 Fight the meleer for the full world after asking politely to leave (as I always do, simply because it's easier then fighting). Better?
  9. No offense, but all of those names make you sound like an immature 13 year old. No offense if you actually are an immature 13 year old. I'd go with RealmKnight, it's not half bad.
  10. Wait, your comparing a character that consist of a few 1s and 0s in a virtual world on some server in England to the respect that should be given for a living, breathing human? That's like saying 'I'm not going to sell my house, even though I'm moving, I'll just leave it deserted until it eventually deteriorates'. But you see, people can afford to simply put their character to rest, while you'd normally have to sell one house to get another. It wasn't money I was talking about, it was principle. Would you not sell your house, even if you could afford it, because it would be 'unethical', instead letting it deteriorate into nothingness?
  11. W2 GE is nicely organized, and the game is no longer spoiled by bots and RWT.

Magic is able to cast spells while weilding a weapon of a different combat class thanks to its huge boost from robes. The spells that it casts will completely cripple a meleer or ranger. By simply keeping a whip and torags in invo, a mage can easily take out any other combat style, including range. Meleer can have his attack speed halved, 100+ damage dealt, poisoned, and with attack reduced by 30%, THEN have to fight someone with better bonuses then him. LOSS. A ranger will have to fight a meleer with top defence while poisoned and attacking at half his normal speed. LOSS.
  13. Yep, lag sucks. Just remember it's your fault, not Jagex's. It's like driving to someone's house and then getting angry at them because your car wasn't fast enough and took a long time to get there. Get a better computer and internet connection and the lag will be gone. It still sucks, though. But so does poverty and the fact that I don't have 100 billion in my bank :-#
  14. @ Firemaking: Reverse hasn't been widely known for a long time @ Woodcutting: That's for Draynor Village, with a rune axe. Obviously improvements like CW banking and dragon axes have resulted in faster times @ Agility: I average closer to 54 seconds, or 63.5k XP\hour at wilderness. That's very high. 65k is generally considered the max for steady training. @ Fishing: Yes, it's level dependent @ Runecrafting: Without games necklace it is @ Crafting: Not sure, he could be wrong on that. I haven't tested in a long time. @ Mining: No, he's right. I averaged just under 47k XP\hour powertraining. @ Gems: Yes, it does depend on population. @ Fletching\Herblore: If your talking about cutting bows, your wrong, I've timed them and his are correct. If your talking about stringing bows, that was recently updated. Yes, if he gave us actual times per run and showed us his calculations, that would make it more believable. Saying a nice round number like '500 cannonballs' or '1000 alchs' (example) generally means that he saw it somewhere else, and that it is a generalization, not a number he carefully calculated himself, as the chances of it rounding out to exactly 500 while banking are virtually nil.
  15. You can't. Edgville is very slightly faster if your paying CLOSE attention, significantly slower if your not like most of the RS population. It's a max of 409 at Ghost Ahoy, and around 420-430 at edge. 600+ cannonballs = 150 bars, your numbers are off by a factor of 3. Try 10.4k XP\hour. About 1/8th the speed you can get for free with other smithing methods. So yes, it makes money if you make a maximum of 12k GP per hour. Otherwise, your losing massive amounts of time and money using cannonballs.
  16. About 2/3rds the levels you will get at Ape Atoll, in about twice the time. Calculations: 7m / 392 GP\chin = 17,857 chins. @215 XP each = 3,839,255 XP, + 5,346,332 XP @ 90 = 9,185,587 XP = halfway between 95 & 96 in 14.8 hours Not positive about skeletons, but it would be around 8,203,452 XP, or just over level 94, in 25 hours or so.
  17. No it's not. It's a max of 409 bars an hour, as time by n0valyfe. Someone apparently did a rough timing of cannonballs, rounded it up to 500, and threw it out there as a 'fact'. It's always been parroted, but the reality is significantly worse then that. lol @ you saying the Master Smither with 99 smithing is incorrect and that some dude who hasn't play in like 2 years is more correct Yup. I'm saying that 'some dude', a dude with 99 smithing, a dude known to be THE most efficient player in runescape, a dude that got every single level to 99 in under 2 years, a dude that spent days trying to obtain perfect timings, a dude that measured the time to fractions of a second is more exact then master_smither's generalization. I'm glad to see I provided a little humor. Just went and looked at the link... A dude that has over half of his timings completely wrong (slower than necessary) Feel free to begin naming them. Until then, I have to assume you didn't read his page thoroughly. #1, he includes banking\running\teleing\EVERYTHING time. #2, some of the methods have been updated in the past 2 years. Cannonballs isn't one of them. If your accepting master smither's value as exact, I'm curious as to how he got EXACTLY 500 cannonballs per hour. He must be very regular in his banking, because that's an awfully round number for a calculation precises to 4 significant digits. Exactly 500.0 cannonballs per hour, averaged over a long period of testing, is rather astounding.
  18. Yes, but with our brilliant idea of peeing while playing Runescape, no rules are broken. I also suggest that we bring a mini-fridge into the bathrooms, too. Brilliant. But it completely removes any reason for log out timer removal.
  19. Arrows are better. It's OK to make a few runes for defence, but they can be pick pocketed easily. Arrows can be wielded easily, keeping them from being pick pocketed.
  20. I'm afriad your confused about how SC points work. Here's the KB article: http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarticle.ws?article_id=836 As long as you get in the 20-25k point range - which takes the first 7-9 minutes of the game, when there are hardly any magers\fighters around, you will get 20-22 points, making it worth it time wise and allowing you to spend time having fun in SC rather then camping at Zombies.

  22. 3rd age may be junk stats wise but it is an investment because it does rise gradually in the GE. Also it can give way more time to get junk so it's just useful as an investment. D claws are skyrocketing in the GE. I'd consider them a slightly better investment then a worthless piece of armor that is VERY slowly rising. Claws rise around 100k everyday and 3rd age rises over 1M every week or so. The armour is better is your just planning on selling in the GE. It's 5% per day, currently 106k or 742k a week. In a week it will be rising roughly 150k a day, or 1050k per week, with a targeted price currently over 100m. So if you plan in selling them in a week or less, 3rd age is probably a better choice. For anything over that, claws are much better.

D claws are skyrocketing in the GE. I'd consider them a slightly better investment then a worthless piece of armor that is VERY slowly rising. There are none. And the rare times they are discovered they are ruined in a few days.
  24. 3rd age = crappy stats, you either have to sell it for max on the GE or keep it a loss of 20m+ (not worth using for anything). Junk is IMPOSSIBLE to make faster then money could be made by other ways. Keep them and wait for them to slowly go up in GE. Or sell em to me.
  25. http://www.truthscape.com/html/ts_TruthScapeMonsterSecretsIceTrollsCannonTrainingGui.htm Far more complete and detailed then any other guide out there. Don't be lazy, read that and you won't have any questions. So please don't post saying 'wut outfit should I wear' or 'how much XP can i get there'.
