As a comparison, I smith addy arrowtips with SC tools @ a loss of 136k per hour, which takes 13.6 minutes to earn at avansies, and nets 125k XP\hour. Therefore, in comparison to cannonballs, I can get the same profit with roughly 8 times the XP\hour. There is no reason whatsoever to EVER do cannonballs.

Not really. Prayer bonus isn't that important at barrows, as the prayer drain is draining prayer much faster then protection prayers are.

What about the 12 something million who already have the console? Rs on a console wouldn't be aimed at getting their current customers to pay more, but to attract the console market. It would probably work too. Only problem is, they would have to make the game from scratch, as all of it is in javascript(most of it anyway). Javascript. :lol: It's Java, a huge difference, but easily missed in the name. As for consel, they would have to rewrite it unless Sun felt like making a Java engine for wii\xbox\PS3. It's probably possible, and Sun would be doing all the work. Assuming Wii could handle HD, it could make for a pretty good system, using the Wii remote to point and click.

I do great in my +78 defensive gear; very few people bring karils or armadyl to PVP, even in clan wars, and against black d hide I have no problem. Also, the vast majority of rangers use crossbows or MSB - which has a shorter range then my spells. I simply step back, and I'm free to mage them without getting hit.

Chance doesn't work like that, you only ever obtain accurate results when your sample is in the thousands or more (not ~100). You can easily code excell to generate a random number out of two numbers and then graph the frequency of one of the numbers. The graph will ALWAYS sway wildly at the start and eventually move into a straight line. Aviansies aren't nerfed, and until someone records 10k+ kills I laugh at anyone who says otherwise ;) I've done 12k kills. Altogether they average out to slightly fewer addy bars the kill count. Individually, I've gotten 240 bars to 130 kills (last week), or 340 bars to 515 kills. I've had good trip streaks and bad trip streaks. But altogether, it averages out nicely.

Because the whole point of clue scrolls was to MAKE money. Now they're just an annoyance that takes you away from regular training.

Let's see, so far summoning has made me (looks at bank) around 380 M from GWD. Unicorn = 3x the length of trips at sara with a 3 man, 10+ hour 4 man trips. I recently went on a 3 man with a couple of friends; they brought terrorbirds, I brought unicorn. We lasted for 55 kills, and I used 0 doses of sara brew, 0 purple sweets, and 1 dose of super restore to summon my 2nd unicorn. I could easily have lasted for 150+ kills. Combat summons are also very helpful at higher levels; my geyser titan boosts my range XP by 12k per hour, and offers significantly faster kills + tanks for me. Beasts of burden are also unbelievably helpful, and I hear that a steel titan offers a huge amount of range XP\hour.

There's another important factor here - PJers. I've seen countless DHers at mid to low HP get killed by 2 d claw specs when they were on the verge of finishing their opponent off. They just don't stand a chance at 50 or lower HP. Weapons hit too high nowdays.

It's timing, not combat turns that matter. Dark bow is slow, yet only takes 1 turn. A magic combo is roughly the speed of dark bow, yet takes 2. It also makes a great fight starter; after that your opponent is frozen and it becomes more about damage rather then KOs, as he can continuously eat until he is out. But if he's frozen, he's not going anywhere - or teleblocked\bound outside of wild, with COG being constantly casted. I do very well with that combo also, but ancients are still fun.

Nezitnot is VERY slightly faster, but is kind of a pain with the smaller smith. 104 cannonballs\26 bars takes 3:49 (http://n0valyfe.freehostia.com/timing_guide.txt), or 8.8 seconds per bar, for a total of 409 bars per hour. Banking time included. Smith something else, seriously...

The timer's fine. The only change I would make is perhaps just a tad longer. (2 minutes?) Why? The rules are against being away from the keyboard. So you hit the log out button when you go to feed the dog.

If that's how long it took to train there, that's how much it's worth. No. You have to deduct the value of the entertainment you got from RS, and no, it's not 5$ a month. It's not work, it's a game... I would be redoing my account for the exact same thing. My time is money, even if it is something I enjoy. I'm all about mathematical calculations.

I have great jealousy for you if you could ever obtain 2.5 to 1. Mine is, and always has been, .94-.95 to 1. And ROW does nothing whatsoever to bars, as they are not rare drops. Level does not matter.

Well, I can make well over 40$ an hour in RL with computer work, so we'll go off of that: Assuming roughly 30k average XP\hour (I waste a lot of time), at 136m XP = 4533 hours of skilling. Bank is another 500 hours of work. I've spent at least 800 hours at Clan Wars and Fight Pits making myself respected and feared and gaining many friends. Assume another 1,000 hours of simply standing around\chatting with friends\questing\looking stuff up. Total: 6,833 (holy bleep) hours, or 273,320$ in lost RL time. I don't think I want to continue this, let's just say my account is worth plenty...

In which case it would stick around exactly the same amount of time it would have otherwise. yes and who was arguing that??? oh i forgot, no one. i said the grave disppears not the items that were dropped when you died. Therefore, he wouldn't have lost any items. So what were you arguing against? His items would still have been there, regardless of if it had been blessed.
