Smiting one-itemers
That requires a lot of luck, and a stupid player who doesn't know how to turn off accept aid, even after 4 complete HP heals. I might have to try that sometime, though. :P

Max Melee exp/hour. (Kinda a long read)
And how are they going to figure that out? By killing them for an hour and see how many they kill, then plug it into the calculator? Here's a better idea: kill them fo ran hour and see how much XP you get, then use that to calculate how many hours it will take. Oh, and he's trying to get advice from people that have already done that. Armored zombies or my alternative are the best, period.

Best setup with my money--- pls look ---
Use proslyte top\verac's skirt, and pray +10% strength. More defence, more prayer, higher hits then bandos. And about 20m cheaper.

Max Melee exp/hour. (Kinda a long read)
That shows how many monsters you have to kill to get a certain level, something any idiot could get with windows calculator in less time then it takes to load the applet, and says nothing whatsoever about xp\hours rates.

Smiting one-itemers
They either: A - are eating, increasing the damage done to them before death and draining their prayer before they die B - have lowered prayer\are in a very slow fight that their prayer has drained a lot before they die, enough that the extra 25 prayer points drained puts them at 0.

D claws...
It's far from a Myth, I tell you that now. Being the longest person here to own the claws, they HAVE been nerfed. I got them hours after their release and used them everyday until yesterday. I used them 4 hours on the first day, and have been constantly loaning them and fighting in clan wars since then. They have not been nerfed, and I can only assume the rumor is being spread by jealous players wanting them to drop so they can buy them. Me looks at your stats would tell me that even though they were nerfed, chances are they wouldn't make a huge difference to you. I, on the other hand hands down agree that they were nerfed. It's not some way for me to try and get the price to drop, I can tell you that. I don't want another pair, I wouldn't try. I don't care anymore. My last day with them was horrible. I was using mine at Pest Control, the Duel Arena and The Fight Pits. Previous tries of fighting with them before they WERE nerfed was successful, my hits were rather amazing and very very accurate. Now, I could barely hit, not even on pures with 45 def and lower. And that was potted. Imagine me, 80 attack trying to do that damage now? The results would be horrific. Jagex did say, in a post somewhere that there were no major changes made. The word Major put in the same post with as changes isn't a good thing when it's said by Jagex. Ah yes, because 98 attack never misses. NOT. I had a miss rate around 40% on high levels in good armor the day it came out. And every day since then.

Dragon Claws
More like an attempt to drop the price on them. And yes, the nerf rumors were also a myth, I just tested them. I wasn't attempting price manipulation, simply passing on something I'd heard, which actually sounds reasonably true. Do you have any idea of what the drop rate was for Dragon Claws from Tormented Demons? I may try getting twice as many KBD kills as that number over the holiday break to kind-of test this out... Spreading misinformation is bad also, but I'm assuming you weren't the price manipulator to start all of this  I really don't have a clue as to the drop rate, though. I'm 40 quest points away, and not planning on getting them. 3rd age top = +24 magic Ahrim's top = +30 magic 3rd age bottom = +19 magic Ahrim's bottom = +22 magic 3rd age comes with ZERO melee defence, making it very slightly better then infinity\mystic and FAR worse then ahrims. Oh, and it's ugly.

Nat crafting through graahk
3k nats an hour 711k nat worth minus 426k ess cost equals 285k\hour as the max profit from single nat crafting with 75 runecrafting. For double: 1422k nat worth minus 426k ess cost equals 996k\hour as the max profit from double nat crafting. The tiny cost of pouches and energy pots aren't factored here, but the max possible is closer to 3.1-3.2k when concentrating, so I believe these numbers are correct. I wish people would stop endlessly parroting blatantly contradictory numbers like nat crafting being 400k per hour at 3k ess per hour.

Max Melee exp/hour. (Kinda a long read)
Armored zombies are better at under 4m an hour earning rates. Go with them unless you really want fast, in which case speccing 9 friends with d2h with 500 other friends standing around casting energy transfer and boost pot share on you should net in the 600k\h range. Kind of a hassle though.

Walking on ice
It's a glitch. I discovered it while doing the quest. It made it quite easy, just walk through the doors. Especially when it came to pushing the blocks around. Not that I abused it or anything :-w

Link to Fight PITS
None of those have ANY information on how to fight in the pits. I'd write a guide myself (500+ hours there, 7.5 furys :P ), but I'm too lazy. If you just need to win one for a diary, try to go with some friends, hide in a corner with a load of sharks, and mage anyone who comes near.

spiritual mages task
I'm assuming your making this up, given that your slayer level isn't high enough to kill mages, even with pies. Now, the facts: Prayer switching does not work well with spirit mages, as their animation is interrupted when you hit them. Therefore, most of the time you can't see the casting animation, and prayer flashing is almost impossible. As for ancient mace, assuming each task takes an hour with 20 prayer pot doses, that's roughly 400 prayer points and 12 specs, meaning you hit an average of 33 per special, with 82 attack and 80 strength. Please, if your going to make stuff up, keep it believable. Use proslyte and a whip; any combat familiar won't be of much help as they die fast, and if they don't they will OWN your summon. My Geyser TItan (600something HP, massive defence) lasts 20-25 minutes there. An overlord would last a few minutes at most.

Twas the Season for Anti-Merchanting Rants
They disappear after the event When you de-summon them, they say that they can be re-summoned by operating the necklace. And the necklace stays after the event.

D claws...
It's still 50M+, and probably won't settle unless enough people hear the MYTH flying around that they have been nerfed. Yet another attempt by someone to lower the price. Oh well, I personally hope they never drop below 100m. Chances of a GE buy are tiny, so if you need the money don't bother keeping it in there.

Unnoting logs
The demon is actually less efficient as far as gp/exp goes. Just a little FYI for you. Regular butlers are pretty much the best bang for your buck. Like Maple logs for firemaking. Yup. And no, coins don't count towards the 20 items.

DRAGON PLATE!!!! :@
@ RS: I doubt it, the armor would have to be for very weak monsters that didn't hit enough to justify barrow's 9k per hour cost, in which case bandos' offensive power would be better.

100k exp lamps
Prayer is FAR faster to train then herblore. Assuming you burn 1k dragon bones @ 250k XP per hour and can make 500k profit per hour using other methods, you can get 250k XP in 5 hours = 50k XP\hour for free, far more then quite a few skills. Use it on herblore.

Twas the Season for Anti-Merchanting Rants
I'd guess the imps will stay, as they said you could re-summon them using the necklace, and that the necklaces would stay after the event was over. As for merching, I agree with you - I see no problem. I merchant myself, I've made at least 70m off of it. I'm all in favor of it.

I'm SICK of junk traders, you should be too
Name a SINGLE problem this causes for you. For every item but 3rd age and the occasional skyrocketing item, the GE makes buying FAR handier then in the days before junk traders. On the VERY rare occasions when you can't buy the item you want in the GE, you have to hop to world 2 to buy it. Just like you used to have to for EVERY item. What's the problem?

Brief analysis of time/money expenditures on 99's
RS players are stupid. Hence all the slayer capes. Opportunity cost is correct and MUST be calculated. Although I disagree with some of your numbers, good post overall. And the average player can EASILY make 500k; killing avansies with 90+ range is 600k + 60k XP by itself.

Noobody loves Noobs!
In runescape, or any anonymous situation, people tend to do what they enjoy - which, given the demographics of runescape players, seems to be to look out for themselves and not care about others. It could be even simpler then that - I had a level 33 running around following me begging to be my friend a few days ago. I said no and teled - many previous experiences have taught me that random newbs want me to hold their hand, come running whenever a big, nasty level 100 insults them, and give them free stuff. As for LOTF, I am using that as an example; I agree with quite a bit of it. The thread owner is complaining about being ignored, extinguished from play due to being new and unexperienced....and yet your giving an example of a player who wanted your help and was even wanting to be your friend to ignore him? hipocritical if you ask me! Your just proving your no better than the people calling others noobs! Why not give the level 33 a chance before passing judgement? I have people wanting to be my friends, I say yes. They may be after my wealth at first, but give them a point in the right direction, no one gets bothered by them again. I've added at LEAST 300 friends that have simply tried to get items out of me. The vast majority were under level 100, and of the dozens of level 50- I've added, not a single one of them has behaved decently. Sorry to sterotype, but I'm not going to add them unless they show me a good reason. And following me around saying 'plzplzlz dude i really want u 2 add me' isn't going to do it.

Mage needs whip, melee needs d hide. It's not a huge waste, 1 space for the mage. Make that 3 with a torag's top\veracs skirt to easily take down rangers, and your a perfect killing machine. Guess what outfit is my favorite for PVP
