  1. It's not useless, you need it for quests and you can make money off shade burning :P. Wel f2p i guess it is. Nice booster for skill total though. I'll be there... to collect ashes!
  2. I like the drop \ . I quit members when whips were 2.6m, came back when they were 2m. Saved me some money one rebuying all my members gear.
  3. The chicken feather is your forum rank. It's purely based on your number of posts.
  4. I'd say just go the cheap way and range it. No need to waste zammy flames on it
  5. I'm gonna go with the guides and say only strength and defense.
  6. Take advantage of the so called "high" prices for pure essence. If you truly think they're too high... then why not go mine essence and sell them? Or even merchant them. Problem solved.
  7. Possiably, but most likely not. I believe that they're collecting this armor as a social status to prove how long they've been playing the game. Only problem is that once Jagex fixes it, they won't be able to wear it. They may still be able to have it on if they're wearing it when it's updated, but Jagex may even have some way around that as well.
  8. Another method of getting Soda Ash/Seaweed is to go to Catherby and go south to the ship carter people. Trade them and they have 20 seaweed and 10 soda ash in their store (I think). Just buy them and world hop.
  9. I forgot how you get one, but ya it's not a bug or anything. I got one my first day of members back in 05' from a friend.
  10. You could buy cow hides and craft them but that will require money. If you've finished hand in the sand, crafting battlestaves and high alching them is a good method. Or you can go with crafting flax, which will get you good money but probablly take longer.

From your stats, I'd say you were F2P. It's a "member's only object" that can be traded in F2P worlds but has no use there. It's used mainly for quests.
  12. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=516151 Feel free to ask more questions after you read that.
  13. your a sad newb * No he isn't... It is some kind of scamming, selling them at high prices to poeple who can't do a thing with them...without knowing that while trading. That's true, it's not item scamming. But it is bug abusing, since it is a known bug that they are currently F2P and everyone knows they're not supposed to be.
  14. If it got the keyword "scarves", wouldn't it know? Plus, it said from last Christmas. Jagex should start checking their own messages and stop being lazy :P J/k, but they should check their own messages, even thought there is like 1000 a minute from noobs complaining about how they can't get any gold. Ya I misread letter first time (just skimmed over) then I edited message ^_^.
  15. They're not tradeable. I'm sure it's an automated message (like youknowho), and it sent you that based on key words such as "christmas" "holiday" and stuff. But it is a known glitch that Diango won't give them out anymore and I'm sure JaGeX is fixing it.
  16. I think it's the requirement to make iron sheets. That's the only smithing part in the quest really.
  17. In one part you have to go into the basement of the magic guild in Yanille.
  18. Did you do the quest yet? I think you have to finish it to be able to make them.
  19. I'm guessing they're probablly 50k-60k. Around the price of 2 key halves and glory ammies.
  20. You combine two half key halves, one loop and one teeth, to make a Crystal Key. You use the Crystal Key on the silver-trimmed chest in Taverly. The chest is in the long house North of the Herblore shop. People mainly want the uncut dragonstone. Half keys are worth about 20k-35k each now.
  21. There's nothing wrong with that. Quote from tip.it Barrows Guide:
  22. What sort of questions? :-k Like personal, why are you quitting type questions? Or in-game help... but we could also use Help/Advice forum. I'm confused  .
  23. You could also mine limestone and make Stone Fireplaces (2 limestone bricks). They give 40 exp so 20 exp per brick. It may take longer but it'll save you money. Questing/Tears of Guthix is also a great way to get exp like many others have said.
