  1. By "Standard" I assume you mean Tipit_theme? Can you take a screenshot for us?
  2. Everyone has a right to a certain amount of immaturity in their lives when they are young, but a lot of times it goes overboard and anyone who is lucky and unlucky enough to have matured before the people that person is surrounded by feels pretty alone. I know a few people like that. Was I really that bad?
  3. Which forum skin are you on?
  4. I can quite honestly say that I am no longer a victim of peer pressure. Sure, they may influence me (Turning me on to new music and such) but certainly not the way I think. A few years ago my friends practically dictated the way I acted, what I did on my free time, etc. When some of them later backstabbed me (As in, to a greater extent than what they were doing with peer pressure) I was quite devastated, definitely an overreaction. So now I live my life entirely seperete from my friends. Not because I'm overattempting to be an "Induvidual" but because that's the way I am. None of my IRL friends know the slightest thing about programming, graphic/web design, or photography, because they do other things. Peer pressure can be a good thing too, can it not? I do not say that as a conclusion to what I just said. I have used it to, admittedly unsuccessfully, help my friend stop smoking and I'm sure that there are hundreds of other situations in which it could be used with good intentions in the mind of the doer.
  5. Just don't get too into it :XD:

I'm really loving the texture you got there  looks like splattered watercolor. I see what Nad meant with the W, if you made it into one it could improve the focal.

  8. [/hide] That's what you think. Even if you rule out air pressure, you can still die from too much air, so I've heard. Just like you can die from drinking too much water. In that case it's not the water that kills you, but the osmotic balance. With the extracellulair fluid being hypo-osmotic, electrolytes will leak out of the cell creating distorted cells which will eventually die. It's the water that's causing the osmotic imbalance, remember. :P

  10. Not to keep your already-answered thread alive but.. Why is GIMP better than Photoshop? Is it just more user-friendly? It's not, at all. If you can't afford 70$ for Elements it's a very distant 2nd. It has nothing of the polish and automatic tools (moving heads in GIMP is a huge chore; elements outline tools and color matching selections make it a couple minutes work) of Photoshop. I don't know why anyone would pay for PS elements. GIMP is far better than it. If you do intend to go into graphic design, GIMP is a great choice. You don't need to start on a 700$, RAM-hogging program. The learning curve of going from the GIMP UI to Photoshop's is absolutely flat. And if you try graphic design for a few months and it doesn't work out, you've just wasted 700$ on a program that you won't ever really use.
  11. Wait wait, before you blame it on dead pixels check your cable. If it's only partly connected or bad it can do that.
  12. Gmail works great. They have the best spam-filtering algorithms in the world, virtually unlimited space, chat/calls/video calls inside Gmail, and a 20 mb upload limit. And you're complaining about a few bolded characters?
  13. ^ Nah, I've seen some of those before.
  14. Great  No more clicking to the high quality.
  15. Indeed. I've been avoiding saying just that (Or, for that matter, anything else) for a while now. If the mods keep on posting crap and talking to themselves eventually there'll be enough spam for a ban. We hope.
  16. I seriously can not imagine why anyone would want to get their face peirced anyway. I am quite sure that someone has said already that your parents are being reasonable. I know I wouldn't allow my son/daughter to get their face peirced.
