    /Salute. You're awesome, I just stuck a wig on.
  2. But the CIA did hire 200 million people! Man never landed on the moon! 9/11 was a conspiracy! The earth is flat! (Etc. Etc.) Yeah I agree it's a load of crap.
  3. I can't wait to hear the justification on this one.

  5. Find it. Now. Please. I beg you. I've been looking. :( But it is nowhere to be found.

Mein Kampf if you want to be really picky. :P We just went through that book in History, I might read it although it isn't required. Sounds really interesting.
  7. I don't know anyone under the age of 10 here that doesn't have one. But you're in America, so you have that freedom I suppose. Lol @ Real men drink hard liquor.
  8. Let's see. Fluency in more than one language, preferably English and Swedish. Maturity, I don't want someone who giggles every time somebody says "Sex". Someone who's the social opposite of me, i.e. who doesn't just stand around in the corner during school breaks. Oh, and this one is unrealistic, but one with more than a basic understanding of computers and is still my age. And if she's a socialist or a communist, all the better.
  9. I think we should work on making phpBB3 versions of the phpbb2 emoticons we have left. In fact, I found a pack of just that. And then lost it. :wall:

I'm downloading Ubuntu Studio 8.10 right now, I'm planning on a clean reinstall with as little back up as possible, I managed to really mess it up.

    Lovely. :-X

There's a difference there though, the code he's talking about is likely very core software, possibly even part of the kernel. You can't really use hardware as an example, I don't think. But seriously Apple is beginning to sound like Al Gore though, the way they say it you'd think that they invented 64-bit or something. Vista went 64-bit long before OS X, and windows does it very well at that.
  13. I don't think any non forum staff member is blamable for not knowing that kind of thing, really.

Dunno if you're joking, but I doubt we'll be seeing more than 8GB-16GB of ram for a while. Even further, Nadril, I have to wonder who would need more than 8GB of RAM for anything, short of a Second Life or W.o.W. World, or a royally monstrous business database. I think we can both agree that even that much ram might never be necessary, especially if they are doing it properly with lightweight-but-feature-packed code.My uncle, who has been programming since the dark ages, was telling me about a question being asked about 25 or so years ago: Why would you need 64k of ram? What could possibly take that much? Need I say more? I have use for 8 gigs of ram myself, although it'll be a while until I can afford that. (I can hardly afford anything these days.)
  15. Use the paintbrush tool or pencil tool, click where you want to start the line on the canvas. Hold shift, move your mouse to the place where you want the line to end, and click.
  16. Think about it somewhere else, please.
  17. You mean this? [hide=][/hide] If you don't mind me asking, what's the point of that phone? :D One of my friends had one and the only game I found mildly enjoyable on it was this parachuting one. What gaming capabilities are you referring to? :P No, that's not the one. That's the American version of the 3510i. And the game I'm looking for is Space impact II, I've played every version (Including some rare versions) of Space impact, but of all of them Space impact II- Even though it's monochrome- is by far the best.

Last year, I did not miss a single day of school. Due to anything. I wasn't exactly proud of it. This year I was sick once. Stayed home browsing TIF. :P

I think we've all asked that question at one point. For you, I would recommend Ubuntu. The support is great and it's possibly the best way to get into Linux; It's what I started with. If you want more advanced media capabilities, I would recommend Ubuntu Studio, but that's probably too advanced as the installer is not graphical. Ubuntu is easy to use though, and it's stable as anything. It comes with Openoffice too, great for schoolwork. It may be that not everything acts as you expect it to at first but there's usually a fix. If you need help, just post here- There are lots of users around that would be willing to help.

What a silly man. You do realize that what he said is entirely true? :wall: What part of 64 bit do people not understand?
