I was walking down a street from work at around 2 am once and a group of people (4 or 5 of them) in hoods demanded all my personal possessions, armed with knives. For a situation like this, I always carried a retractable 12 inch short sword (which I'm capable of using with skill and precision) and I instinctively pulled it out. We had a struggle in which I recall successfully disarming 2 of them before I was stabbed right below where my heart was. All I remember then was my blood pouring out onto the street and them running away. I was more in shock than pain and I remembered all my memories flashing at once, I then blacked out and found myself in the hospital with a searing pain in my chest cavity. Scary moment :|

Deloria, I know how you're feeling. When you're in love, you feel as though the object of your affection is the definition of perfection. You start accepting all their flaws. However, you can make them fall in love with you. Ask yourself the question before diving into this dilemma first though: Is this person worth going through all the trouble? Answer that first, and I can then provide further assistance. :) Keep it cool. Odds are, if you've been in the "friend zone" for about 6 months it's not enough time yet. You should take things slow, and continue on the path you're on: it's the right one. Don't let it all out one night as that might ruin things for you. Show her that you can be boyfriend quality, but show her you can have the quality of a friend (e.g.: listening to problems, being there when he/she needs it).
