  1. If it is a bug, it's a very logical one. You want Seridor to teleport you to the mine, not a glitch in the abyss.
  2. It just doesn't need to be in use all the time, we might be using it for MSSW. Converting this area into a minigame is far more complex that what it's supposed to be for.
  3. Firstly, insults don't help. Secondly, the experience boosts are fine, but they lack substance or originality. You could just put that on any skill. Experience is pointless if it doesn't work towards something that will benefit your character beyond the numbers. I'm talking about equipment, moneymaking, benefits to other skills, useful stuff. Only useful stuff you get is 1. Bullseye lanterns, 2. Mining helmets. 3. The inferno adze. 4. The cape. 4 useful items, and they're all non-tradable and don't interact with other players. I am certain that is the lowest for any skill.

I don't think that the two issues are comparable. They have two completely unrelated purposes and scales. Wizzkid785, I think that should seriously be considered as a Darwin Award.
  5. It does run Runescape if you download a certain updated version of Java, which I can't find right now. However, it's crazily slow, so don't bother until Java makes a proper new version which is not only compatible with Chrome, but is fast as well.
  6. 75 for magic and 82 for cursed, 92 to light all the beacons. Your statement is a load of rubbish. What's the beacons good for? More xp, and that hybrid axe, which in turn is only really good for more xp and the abyss. A bit of a weak effort, really.

 That really made my day. Thank you so much. =D>
  8. I got that, and has to get my entire system wiped. So many files lost... What I don't get though, is how people are convinced that they need to buy this product when the fact that it's changed your desktop amongst other things proves to the most inexperienced user that Antivirus 2008 is in itself malware?
  9. I support, it's a good idea. But now we seem to be giving the onscreen icons a clicking function, we may as well finish the job and include clicking functions for the HP and Summoning buttons. Maybe pressing the Summoning icon will activate a familiars special move, provided you have a familiar out, the correct scrolls and enough special move energy?
  10. It's a bug but not a bug. You're just accidentally clicking on people in the chat box and they're automatically added to your friends list. Ease of use can only go so far, then sadly this happens.
  11. What?? That might work if you have a whole army with fly swatters. And I mean it, those bugs are called lovebugs for a reason. They're really that bad? :o I feel lucky that I live in England right now. I'd heard of them, but I thought they were just another insect, but it sounds more like a recurring plague for the people who have to live with them.

 I would love to use that as an excuse for all of my failings.
  13. I wouldn't seriously consider buying any of them, but if I was, it would be the USB drive and/or the mug. As said by danelennon, it's asking for your favourite, not which one you'd buy. I vote USB stick.

When we lose the will to be curious, we lose the essence of our humanity. Besides, there is a huge chance that the results of the LHC will benefit mankind beyond mere answers to questions. And there is no tangible risk whatsoever, other than possible damage to the LHC itself. And even that would provide us with an insight.
  15. Chrome is sleeker and faster than FF, apart from when in RS, where it's a quarter of the speed of FF. So at the moment, I use both, and will probably undergo Chromification soon. (And yes, that is a new word, use it as you please.) : I shouldn't be complaining though, it is still in Beta testing, so I don't blame them if Chrome isn't entirely happy with RS yet.

You, my friend, just described my day. It was sooo annoying. So annoying that me and a group of friends have already planned what were gonna do tommorow, shout "Ha! We're alive!" What sad lives we have :twss: According to a most likely unlikely source there are meant to be 85 countries taking part. And i'm sure as hell 85 countries of the world wouldn't put absolutely EVERYTHING at risk for this if they knew it wasn't safe. Of course we're not gonna die. Althought if we do die it will be so fast we won't know it's happened. Well obviously we'll be dead but you can't think when your dead... Li Chef I think '85 countries taking part' means that the scientists come from 85 different countries, I know it's only actually funded by the richer/larger ones. I wonder what's going to happen at school tomorrow... Quick, at what time are they going to activate it? (GMT) Oh, and Zierro, you may claim the title of 'Wise tif Prophet' after it's activated and we're not dead. Actually, it would be a bit difficult if we were dead. :-k
  17. Wow, that's a great suggestion, jirenma. However, I don't think that items can be customisable, as in they have a name of a player in them; they must be selected from a pre-set list, I think that's part of the game engine. But, that can be solved by just numbering the insignias. I like it, but that's even more work than my idea (and mine's bad enough); think of all the combinations requiring graphical images and inventory icons if they're going to be unique!
  18. I think that Jagex seriously had the MSSW in mind with this update, it's brilliant! =D> I also like the Herblore update, I'm fed up of accidentally drinking potions I want to decant.
  19. Jagex never views a project as impossible due to Java constraints. They just do something else first to allow them to do the project later. Customisable interfaces would be a bit of a lengthy and difficult project, but I can see it happening in the future.

Ok, don't go that far yet. Let's discover the God particle first before we get inventing ways to use it.

My opinion as well. By the way, I think TipIt would be pretty interested in what that tattoo is. :) Yes, the great TipIt in the screen requires a noble sacrifice of a picture of your tattoo. Your girlfriend seems, as assassin said, 'charming' to say the least. I suggest taking the path which doesn't wreck your tattoo, If you're going to do something permanent to your body, you may as well do it well.
  22. No, you were insulting Americans. I don't care for landmasses.
  23. I never look down on someone because of a Skillcape, no matter which one, but I wouldn't really praise them for it if it's Firemaking, Fletching or Cooking. I'd mostly treat them like they were wearing an Obsidian cape or something. But, if it's a skill like Summoning, Hunter, or Construction, I'd congratulate them, and the Quest Cape is middle ground for me. Why? Because of rarity. The less I see of a cape amongst players, the more I'd praise someone for owning one.

Just kill them again. And again. And again. They'll learn.
