+1. I think that although jagex appear to have dug themselves into a hole, they have actually ended up in a powerful position. By creating 'The Ultimate Sword', they will not have an incentive to create a better melee weapon. Instead we may start to see a more 3D combat system. Jagex can now try to sort out the combat triangle, and perhaps add more complexity, which sseli has provided plenty of examples of.

No, that's where several godly beings are residing, such as Hazeel and other members of the Mahjarrat. The dragonkin reportedly died out. The castles are simelar but different. And Jagex are not reusing graphics, otherwise they would be identical, or at least the walls would be identical. Besides, designs like that isn't something you can copy and paste easily.

Are you sure? I mean, they released them a long time ago, so if a lot of translations were wrong, we all would have heard about it earlier. If what you say is true, :shame: shame on you Jagex. I think that the game translations are a good idea, as there is a large potential audience who don't speak English. However, German did seem like an unlikely language to start. Anyway, what language will they release next? Dutch? French? Mandarin Chinese?

Drill Demon is a 'general' random event, ie it can appear doing any action. However, the most likely time they will appear is doing any activity which involves a lot of clicking. That's why skills like fletching and hunter are reputable for random events. However, make sure you do a skill which does not have a random event of it's own, otherwise the chance of you getting drill demon is reduced, making room for the skill related ones. Also, a full inventory may increase your chances slightly, as it eliminates the chance of a mysterious box random event, but it may not be worth the bother. By the way, I believe that in Hunter you can only get 'guardian' randoms, although I may be wrong, or this may only apply in the four major Hunting areas (Woodland, Jungle, Polar, Desert).

Can't you just look at the second screen! I mean, Jagex just did plenty of anti-scam work (red flashing lights if something is changed) already, they don't need to start detracting from realism by colouring bones in unnatural colours like blue and green.

Generally autoers do not log back in after being logged out, and the 'file download' you are referring to is effectively a virus. Which, I believe, may have legal implications... unless all RS users have to agree to it. It could be like a gun pointed to your head: If you don't do anything wrong, it won't affect you, however you know it's there. However, do the wrong thing and pop. Would it work?

I think the only real purpose of the burial ships are so you can essentially get a free chance at a d full drop. The most likely situation is that mith dragons do drop them, but they also drop the bones which are certainly worth using, since a free chance at getting a very valuable item which is dropped by a very powerful monster very rarely, is an offer too good to refuse, even if the chance may be slightly reduced. Actually, for all we know, it may be more likely in pyre ships. With drops as rare with difficult to attain samples (mith dragons are slow to kill), it may take a while for us to determine a pattern yet.

I for one know one of them. :wall: Luckily I managed to teach him to move away from his Miniclip-related wrongdoings and showed him the official RS website. Unfortuanely I haven't heard from him in 2 years, so I dont know wether he's re-converted or has kept his homepage on http://www.runescape.com. And with the updates, I wouldn't go for a massive update after a year, and neither would Jagex as memberships would plummet, and so the update would end up being so-so because of finacial problems. I would go for monthly or bi-monthly updates though. Let's be honest, usually updates (such as the upcoming Godwars dungeon) which end up taking two weeks end up being awesome, so I think that monthly would result in some pretty good updates. Of course, Jagex at their size can do multiple things at once, so how about they split into the monthly update section, the bi monthly section and the half year section. Then we would get updates in this pattern: Month 1: Single update. Month 2: Two updates, the second being larger. Month 3: Single update. Month 4: Two updates, the second being larger. Month 5: Single update. Month 6: Three updates, first single, second larger update, third HUGE update. And repeat. I would like this.

In the first pic, the pic said the opponent used protect range. how did a 48 get hit then? doesnt protect range cut damage in half i thought? In PvM prayers protect 100%, PvP prayers lower the chances of hitting by 40% it does reduce the damage. also, just because he has ranged prayer on doesnt mean that the prayer didnt go on before the arrows were shot. meaning they prayer didnt take effect. I thought that it protected 40% of the time, so there is at least a 40% chance of hitting a 0, but if it does hit, it hits normally. I may be wrong, but that's my experience of it. Mind you, '40% protection' is a bit ambiguous. Can someone quote a Mod on this? OT: Ok, sure there is potential for the deadly dds style hit, but the problem is that it doesn't quite work like a dds because dark bows are a lot moe expensive than dds' and of course dragon arrows aren't cheap either. Mind you, I would like to see a maxed out special hit.

No he doesn't. He looks like he's mining a rock with a heavy pickaxe. Let's face it. Before the update, pickaxes seemed to be weightless, the way players mined with them. And is the best argument you can come up with?

I sort of get bullied, but it's not any physical or verbal bullying that most people experience. It's simply that if I answer a question which I don't think about thuoroughly which results in a wrong answer, a name is then coined from that which is repeatedly called to me by everyone. The problem is that the names are not insulting, just annoying for sheer repetitiveness. This means that if I tell someone about it, which I have, it ends up sounding childish, so I just grin and bear it. Of course, there are those (and you get them in every school for each year group) who have just that limited intelligence and seem to continue it even after everybody's got bored of it, but after a while it gets sparked again. -.- I'm not part of the super-intelligent geeky group, nor am I part of a sporty non-acedemic group. I'm just in the average joe group. All I do the combat it is not to spark it by being relatively quiet (but not silent) in class, but just focus on written and practical work, keeping up the grades. O:)

I hate these questions because you can make loads of headway about answering it, but the deeper you go, the more brain numbing it gets, but it's infinitely deep so eventually your brain ends up exploding and messing up the carpet. And we all know how hard it is getting blood out of the carpet. It's just a concept we can never answer. You are amazingly good at graphics. You should really work for Jagex! Perhaps the 'M' for members should only appear on ftp, and is removed for members, since it's irrelevent for members to be told which skill is members only. And good luck on the prayer interface!
