  1. @GuitarPlayer40: You sig is too high :x And lmao at that story. It sucks, but i've learnt to be redundant in saving files. Even if some versions are older than others - at least i still got it.. somewhere. Kind of had to do that for uni anways :( But all that just for outlook, i'd complain :|
  2. Truth. The most frequent reason I hear as to why anyone I know pirates anything is because "it's jus too expensive to keep buying it legit".
  3. Other than sitting on the bare minimum requirements to even play BF2, chances are you don't have compatible video card :-? Best bet would be to go to the EA Games website and find the exact requirements for BF2. If it's all good there, then we'll try and find another explination.

Yes and how did he botch them? Bad transition between tracks or mistimed scratching? Personally I find the latter more annoying.
  5. K is used not only in the internet. Like, kilobytes, kilograms, and so on... The only 'official' unit that K applies to is Kelvin, and a unit in physic iirc. Kilograms and Kilobytes and Kg and Kb, respectively. And in my case it was neither to do with temperature or physics. I simply just used it to express 'thousands'.
  6. I wasn't paying attention :P And I still got the marks, so ner ;)
  7. I've used K in place of 000 in a math exam once. I had to spend another 5 minutes trying to explain to my teacher what I'd done and what it all meant :-?
  8. Yea, I pretty much Agree. I only really purchase games I know I wont get sick of. And the occasional game is still over $100 a good 6 months after coming out (on both PC and console). Anyhow, I dunno much for the tax on games. It isn't exactly going to stop them getting into the hands of people who are below the recomended age.
  9. Along with Deep Purple, that pretty much sums it up for me aswell.
  10. I've found that pushing the elbow away from them gets you free and hurts them in the process. It's either let you got or bust one of their wrists / sholders. Try that with your mates ;)
  11. Well, yes they do. Not really suprising since I'm doing an IT degree and the majority of my mates are IT people aswell :P
  12. My MSN always opened in default browser, even before I started using Plus!

Truth. I've done some stupid [cabbage], but going out and damaging the property of other people isn't something I find amusing. When my own is it risk, sure no problem - but not others.
  14. That's not legal, and it wont work even if you could. Just make a shortcut to point to the world66 url. The runescape applet wont load unless the refferer is runescape.com ;)
  15. champion pic. Ah, which reminds me... http://ueba.com.br/forums/index.php?showtopic=20965 Some fairly funky arial shots of mazes :) Just find the post by .:: Ph00k4 ::. since the first post is ah, broken.

    I don't need adblock.
  17. Amusingly, it was my GF dishing out the Q's when mum took us on our first date  I found it quite amusing, mum found it quite akward :P
  18. Nah, it's pure fabrication by real media networks. They fabricated 90% of the story. helmut4lyfe1988 just posted ... it :-?
  19. thats by far the worst :(For certain. I had two mates get hit by a train back in 2000. One survived with just a broken leg and the other died later in the night from head trauma. And at the assembly the next day someone in front of me started talking to some chick next to him about how "those kiwi [bleep]s got killed shouldn't even be here - good riddance". I swear, if my teacher wasn't right behind me to grab my sholder I probably would've put that little tosser in intensive care.
  20. That isn't the first time the media have butched a story involving games + deaths to futher their cause that games are bad for kids  And I hope that Thompson gets his sorry [wagon] snapped in half for his selfish [cabbage].
  21. I take the bus and train to and from uni. I hear some rather weird stuff. And in the last, three years, I have only ever had 2 people start a conversation with me. Actually, 3. One was just a really short-lived chat about the music I was playing on my discman. But the other two lasted the entire 30minute trip on the train. I mainly listen to my discman when I'm traveling but on the odd occasion that the batteries are flat or whatnot, I just pretend to be asleep and listen in to anything of value.
  22. Well, since computer parts are, multi region, putting any kind of region blocking on them is kind of pointless.
  23. Messenger Plus! is an addon for MSN Messenger. And unlike 99.99% of programs that come bundled with spyware, Plus! gives you the option to install without installing the 'sponsor' aswell. And I've had the spyware before and it's not exactly hard to get rid of. So unless it has changed Ad Aware should get rid of it with no problems.
  24. Hardly. I've seen fellow staff snap at customers before. Some within very good reason aswell. One day this guy came in with a "broken product" and he blamed us for its condition. Only problem was that it was obvious he'd put it together wrong in the first place. That we tried to explain but he was still convinced it was our fault till the manager got involved and told him straight up that his inability to read simple instructions doesn't warrent a refund, he could however buy a replacement part. Guy pretty much just gave up after that and left. He is probably the best "worst" customer we've had. Some have almost hit staff :-?
  25. You talking down ninja's Daan? *smacks staff across Daan's head* Ninja's ftw ;)
