Technically, terrorism suspects don't fall into the category of POW since they don't fight for any recognised armed forces. The problem, however, is when they screw up they've got their arsed covered by all these bloody loopholes in their own laws which allow them to torture and get away with it.

The Legend of Zelda - Favorite in the series
I seem to like Wind Waker more than most, although Twilight Princess comes close to second. And it's mainly due to world size and the combat system, I like to roam and have multiple approaches to kicking [wagon] As for what I'm looking forward to? Dunno, I'd go for another along the Wind Waker timeline tho, that's always fun.

Questionable Items in Your Possession

It's only been a matter of time since AoE2 was released. It's Electronic Arts and Westwood all over again basically.

It was all over the news before school for me (I was 16) and my original impression hasn't changed much: "Damn that sucks.... no matter". People who seem to think the entire world needs to stop to remember can cram it. Leave it to those who want to remember it, remember it.

Google releases Google Chrome
And how long did it take to set it up (inc spent finding the extensions you want, download, install, config, tweak, etc)? And for the sake of argument... roughly 90% of the list of extensions Opera does anyways. But whatever, each to their own.

Government conspiracies
I doubt it, although I think they did in the past. They'd obviously move them somewhere safer and less watched. Now it's just an airplane testing facility. Best place to hide anything is in plain sight. Chances are anything of the "top secret conspiracy" nature is in a standard military base

Government conspiracies
I have a friend who swears blind that the moon-landings never happened. We were away on a holiday when the argument happened so we couldn't check the internet to back up our arguments so it didn't really go anywhere. Conspiracy theories always sound so compelling because it's much more interesting to believe it's all a coverup. There's a couple of people on these forums who agree with your friend. And now that I think about it.. where did all out conspiracy nutters run off to?

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
I would've thought it was obvious but it seems some people tend to miss the point a bit. It doesn't matter much anyways, nit-picking doesn't change the result so whatever.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
Seeing as you made the distinction there, does that mean these three groups are separate, implying that you, and your girlfriend, are not intelligent? Not a bright spark yourself are you? It's a standard list of OR attributes (1+ required to meet the criterial it's applied to): Him His girlfriend Intelligent And given he doesn't like people who aren't intelligent it's a simple deduction to make that both him and his girlfriend are, otherwise he wouldn't like himself or her.

Any Off-Roaders here?
The impression I always got when car topics came up was 90%+ were street-car owners, I could almost count the number of people who owned (or wanted a 4x4) on one hand :(

Government conspiracies
Best conspiracy of them all is did man really set foot on the moon, July 20, 1969? ;)

Anybody think of pursuing a career in gaming?
There was a time where I wanted to be involved with game design, etc but now I really don't care for it. I went through the ropes: programming, 3d modeling/adimation/texturing, all the conceptual stuff for pre-production, etc. And at the end of the day I looked at it, the job opportunities and decided that it's not worth my time when it's not a garuntee to land me a job. You have to be extrodinarily good when applying for a job in this sector more than the rest of IT, at least when dealing with the modeling side of things. It's not possible to be an expert at modeling and animating and textures, so you need to pick one and get damn good at it and always have examples of your work available online. At least people who focus on textures can stick with low-poly shapes for things like crates, buildings, vehicles. It's the modelers and animators who have the toughest slog; animators more so if they can't model very well and don't have access to low-poly models to use. You can't get away with using just the animation skeleton since rigging is critical to success. I really hate to burst anyone's fantasy bubble about the industry but that's exactly what I was told at university.

Give the author of the dynamic pm limits mod enough time and he might rewrite it for phpbb3. A lot of authors will do it with their mods as they're able to.

I use it as a reflex to anything that's an obvious joke and doesn't get a laugh out of me.

Any Off-Roaders here?
Yea, has it's advantages when about 15m from where that photo was taken is a cruel diagonal step up in order to get into the hill-climbs. Even bit of progress you would make you swear is going to put your truck on it's side

Google releases Google Chrome
Fail, you mean Firefox. Lynx will always rein supreme over all anyways so the Opera V FireFox debate is pointless.
