  1. More people like you please; less spam more critical information about enemy movements and the team wins.

If you think of it like that, you should expect the tattoo artist to pay you. I don't mind tattoos, I want one or two myself. How does that logic work? You're paying an artist for their work, just like you would for any other kind of art... *slap*
  3. Damn, whenever I've tried growing stuff, even in some kind of structured enviroment like you'rs the plants just give me the big 'FU' and grow hoever and wherever they want... makes it hard. My pineapples are the only things which don't wander to the other end of the bloody garden.

#1: Were you raised to follow one particular religion? I was raised Christian untill about age 6 or 7. #2: Did that religion teach you that the only real religion in existance was, indeed, that religion, and anybody who didn't follow said religion's teachings was immoral? Going down a path of damnation? Just plain wrong? Don't exactly remember; but I recall knowing there were other religions (this trails into #3) but heard the spool about going to hell or whatever for not believing. Made no sense when my friends back then told me the same thing was told to them about their religion. #3: Have you ever questioned your religion, or at least thought about ideas that other religions are based on and agreed with them? Because of the above I was just 'you believe what you want, religion makes no sense to me'. A lot of reliigons have similarities between them right down to critical elements such as the following: I consider myself an athiest but there's enough reference to a guy who did amazing things across multiple religions that you can't say he didn't exist. But as Ginger_Warrior says, it's the son of God bit which is the part which takes faith.
  5. I honestly think that excuse about the writers' strike is BS. The script for Harry Potter was written before that... I'm sure they just think they'll get more money from the movie if it's released during the Summer. Makes some sense... not a great deal but some. People are going to see it if they want to, no matter when it's released. I guess they just assume more people will be free during summer for the launch weekend and stuff than if it was winter.. and I think the original date was sitting around the US end of term?
  6. Dark is the nature of the series since ... I guess PoA , and the latter half of the PoA movie.
  7. Invisible planes flying in to army bases and bombing the base without any warning? Even just to spy on other countries/army formations. Don't forget about making soldiers invisible. The latest camoflauge, anyone? Thermal AA ftw. And am I the only person who could swear they've read this stuff a couple of years ago? :-s
  8. I have to agree. When I was young I couldn't leave my block. If I wanted to go to the playground near my old house (3 blocks away) my mom went with me. These days I see kids who are maybe 7 or 8 years old trying to cross main roads (35+mph, high traffic, poor drivers, etc). My mom would killed me herself before she let me attempt that as a kid.. There's kids in my street; granted it's a crescent and traffic is minimal... but I've been coming home around 6-ish and just around the corner from my house (it's a downhill bend and I drive a lifted 4x4) and almost cleaned 3 of them up. When I was their age I was home before 4 or there was hell to pay, yet these ones are still running around on the street in the dark. Hell, I was out with some mates, it would've been about 2am coming home, and there were 3 kids about 11/12 walking down the side of a main road (not on the side with the footpath either)... .. :uhh:
  9.
  10. Actually, Mel asked me one day a while ago if I knew who I was. I thought about it for about 5 minutes and had to answer no. Most people (and by most I mean close to 98%+) wouldn't honestly know who they are. They know who they THINK they are but that's not the same.
  11. It's not war it's just escalated violence :uhh:
  12. I think we should redefine 'adult' in these debates meaning 13+ at which point almost every game isn't a childrens toy. Because Strictly speaking Mario has 'animated violence' which.. in terms of TV will land it a PG13+ rating (or higher if the network suits are stiffs). And, our teenagers will protest like a much of mofo about being classified as children even though, by law, they are (untill they hit 18/21 or whatever their country says). Or just take the simple route and say that unless it has an 18+ only purchase age a game is for children. I actually like that; since now EVERY console is majority selling childrens games, booya. Perspective pisses on every argument. Edit: To answer the OP: Probably because a lot of people don't need blood, gore, violence, etc. To enjoy a game. Hell, the only game I actually play which has anything close to real glood, gore, etc is battlefield 2 and that's not the game I enjoy the most. Card games are, followed by RTS. Mature content level doesn't equate to enjoyment level.
  13. INTJ - Introverted Intuitive Thinking Judging Strength of the preferences: - Introverted: 67% - Intuitive: 38% - Thinking: 100% - Judging: 1% You are: - distinctively expressed introvert - moderately expressed intuitive personality - very expressed thinking personality - slightly expressed judging personality Let's just say it has a manner of truth behind it but most of it is BS based on the black/white nature of available answers. I took a more... grey-area answers test and it pulled me up as a ISTJ, which... if you find some place in between the two is where I probably sit.

Woke up at 3am; downloaded and rendered the first of 2 videos for today (well, today & tomorrow but i won't be home tomorrow so ...). Gonna play some bf2 later once this second video is done rendering. Might see a movie if I can find anyone else who is interested.
  15. The amount of squad members I have TK'd when they're spawned on me just after i've finished taking out enemy troops is rediculously high, like easily in the 100's  :wall:
  16. Cat 3 cyclones which had droped from Cat 5 before making landfall *sigh*
  17. Beaten on page one ;)
  18. none other than the GA site for keeping up with the bf2 ladders.
  19. Splash - no kidding; that move is the shiz!
  20. Better than no air time really. And I'm sure Kretcher will pick up more air-time in the next movie, since it isn't untill the 7th when his story comes out anyways. It's going to be more 'out of the blue', as it was in the books, with griphook and their break-in of the vault to steal the cup.
  21. I ran shirtless with my lover because I'm a pimp and your jealous
  22. Probably one of those rare people who perform better the harder the AI gets. I know a lot of people who were like that in GoldenEye; took for ever beating missions on Secret; and would own their sorry [wagon] on 00 doing it the same way. *shrug*

Eagerly awaiting the closing ceremony to finish. I was playing Battlefield2 during the opening, and I don't care for what's in between the start and finish. That said, AU to dominate in the pool.
  24. um... when big brother was on (thankfully it's never returning) i used to live 10 minutes from "famous" people....... seriously, not that i'm aware of.
