I'm for making him eat himself to death. Tie him to a chair and just keep making him eat until his stomach ruptures. Se7en style ftw!

QUEENSLANDER crew signing in, represent!

It's relatively easy to make 45k in oblivion, even without stealing. I probably have about 150-200k in enchanted items sitting in chests that I know I'll never use. Now to just get my mercentile up high enough to increase how much monies merchants have to maximize the profits. My fenced gold is somewhere around the 30k mark too. And, lockopen, if you can make a better Necromancer stonghold that'd be sweet. Dark Fissue is about as close as it gets. Need something closer to what the Mythic Dawn have

When I was in grade 10, or was it grade 9... I don't remember, we were assigned 'Tomorrow, When the War Began' by John Marsden. It was the first book which wasn't over 100 years old (or even 50 years old) any teacher in the history of my school had set to study. And even the students who were failing the subject actually took an interest in English because the content was more geared towards the age group. More teachers, and schools in general, need to understand that giving students a book from the 1800's and expecting us to enjoy it enough to break it down is thin. And in defence of 'The Scarlet Letter', it's a good read. Bit of an accquired taste but there's worse, like Wuthering Heights for example. If I had to chose between the two, I know it wouldn't be the latter.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Trailer!! .:UPDATE!:.

This i kind of agree with. The least they could've done is stuck to the same director. Plot holes are to be expected with book->movie transitions, even within single movies you'll find the odd plot hole.. so.. *shrug* Anyhow, definately missed important details in the 5th movie. And to think they also wanted to dump Kretcher too, good on them there. -
To be honest, you seem to do okay in English considering you've managed to grasp the concepts critical to success in the subject, you just seem unwilling to apply them; which is more than can be said for the majority of people on this forum. I never enjoyed peotry either but you have to take the pro's with the cons in school. Suck it up and deal with the parts of a subject you don't like. Of five years of schooling, about 5 months of that will be spent spent on poetry. Actually probably less, around 3 months since you don't have English every day. Zonorhc brings up a good point though about Maths, just when I was finishing High School they brought in a policy change regarding maths... and there was the most basic of maths (the kind you use in day-to-day living and nothing more), then your standard maths which you would've normally had to do.. and then the advanced maths stuff which would help you more if you were heading into uni (but not required for uni). If you weren't doing the basic maths (maths for living) it was the second (uni requirement) so *shrug* Without either, English or Maths, a person will struggle in the commercial world. To think otherwise is to kid yourself.

On the subject of PM's and saying you can 'mass send' I have to disagree, I tried to add more than one recipient the other day and got told I had too many...

I was thinking that too; I had an impression of someone who came across as a lot of ... isolated. He didn't pass on the attitude you get from Tom in the books. -
Chat != cat :ugh: Thread failure. Letters, and letter combinations, exist for pronounciation. kh and ch will never be spoken the same. And since we're on this issue... the vowels of the alphabet are pronounced differently depending on their position in a word. Don't mess around with the alphabet or one day you're going to wake up and go "wat are yew talcing abowt?" like a tard

That's what preview post is for ;)

[hide=spoiler]He may not kill directly but in the ah.. original, batman movie with two face in it, he does cause him to fall to his death by throwing a lot of duplicate coins into the air and in the mad-panic to catch the right one harvey loses his footing...[/hide]But still... you never know
-
And apparently some AU firefighters got sent over to lend a hand, I know it's bad... but it's bad when our units are sent overseas :ohnoes:
-
It's a minimum 5 kills though. Hence the problems, dieing 20 times in a match is hard enough for most people.

bf2's purple heart... although i know people who have tried to get it and failed (.25 krd required)

that bit would be just after they get the fake locket in the cave and that's to ward off the infuri or whatever they be. animated dead corpses  -
That's kind of my point; the story itself isn't exactly one that'll bring in a crowd large enough to cover it's expenses to make and market :P

Speed Racer was always going to fail, really didn't matter who made it...

@indy: My sister got all the SG1 seasions as they were released and I can agree that the all-in one boxset is weak. I'm actually a little suprised to hear you got the entire seasons set without having seen any of them before. Although having said that my sister also got the Sex and the City collection without ever having watched a single episode of that either... so whatever  Umm.. the last thing I ordered was the LE of the latest Indiana Jones movie; and I need to get a Die Hard 4.0 SE sometime soon and finish that up. Also want to get the M*A*S*H collection sometime but recent expenses towards my car is limiting any kind of purchases I make #-o

Like others have said you can opt out of installing the sponser software. I've had Plus! for almost as long as it's been in existance. And to be fair, the sponsor program isn't a massive pain in the arse if you accidentally install it, like I have before, every program capable of removing such stuff will find and move it for you.

Have to admit; that was a damn funny ending even if it was slightly predictable.

Yea, I thought of that also but had to discount it because of the miniseries factor; wasn't aware it had been restored and screened in cinemas though. Interesting gamble on their part; must've had a lot of faith in the public to play something outside the standard movie-maraton structure....
