Yeah, because we all know how you can predict the future/read everyone's minds. I find claims like that laughable. There's no possible way to prove that someone wouldn't have done something if there was a different punishment involved. However, simple logic tells us that people are less likely to do something if they don't want to suffer the consequences for it. So what should I believe? Commonsense or statistics, which have the uncanny ability of distorting the truth ever so often? I agree with this point. I think they should only be used in cases where it's 100% proven that the person committed that crime, such as the crime being caught on tape or something like that. It should be. Pretty much what you said in number 3. Capital punishment targets minorities or the judge/jury targets minorities? I find that pretty irrelevant to whether capital punishment is right or wrong. You're just saying that it's been used wrongly. Another point I agree with. If you can rub the government's back by giving them money, somehow that constitutes as atoning for your crimes. :lol:

We're all just giving our opinions. If you don't like it, why are you even on the internet to begin with? By the way, the best aspect about the government is that it's ever-changing and nothing has to be permanent. What's so wrong about making suggestions for how we think we can make it better? That's the whole idea behind a government for the people.

Me too and it was so greasy that it made me sick to my stomach. I lost my appetite for the whole day. I had to resort to having broth for dinner.

After a long period of time, yes, a little. But like someone said, thousands already got it before the update. Once the update has been around for a long period of time, and you see someone with a Fire Cape, they are either a veteran or someone who got it the hard way. It's like Party Hats. When they first came out, no one respected them. But after a few years, wearing a Party Hat only meant one of three things - you're a veteran, you made tons of money to get it, or you got extremely lucky and found it on the floor/friend gave to you.

Yep. Every time a person creates something, they are referring to something else that already exists and adding their own creative input to it. It's just a matter of mixing aspects together and creating a whole new product. That's why we can't visualize a color that we've never seen before.

Or maybe they don't agree that it should provoke them in the first place. An assumption made against someone because their skin color is white is what's racist. Saying a word is not always racist though. Often times it is, but in some contexts it's not racist at all. But of course, it's fine to be prejudice against whites and assume what context they are using when they say it. :lol:

If the products were fully tested on hands, there would no doubt be different results. Since there is inherent complexity in the human hand, testing hands would definitely be more difficult. Using surfaces with controlled variables is an easier way to obtain some type of consistency in the results. But as we are all aware, everyday life is not as consistent. I would think washing your hands is better. Sanitizer kills germs, but soap and water kills germs and rinses them off your skin.

Good point, but I think they already know that. They're just "talking" to the kids so the parents will be like, "Aww, they care about my little Johnny. I like this guy."

Do you think they would have done it if they knew someone was going to do it back to them? It would have made no difference. Think about how the murder rate is just as high in states with the death penalty. That's probably because people would rather die than be in prison. And the death penalty in no way is supposed to teach anyone a lesson - they're going to be dead. That's not to say I disagree with the death penalty. I think some people are better off not on this planet, but that's another story. And as for it making a difference, it's a tough call. It might or it might not. But the worse the consequence is, the less likely they are to do it. It's just that they probably don't see death as a worse consequence... or that those "death penalty is not a deterrent" statistics were cherrypicked for the sake of the argument, which makes a lot more logical sense than people not caring about their own self-interest. Not to mention, correlation doesn't imply causation. Yeah, and it's stupid. There's nothing wrong with preventing torture. There's a thing called operant conditioning. Basically, if you do something bad, and suffer a negative consequence for it, you're less likely to do it again. And the same applies for positive behavior and positive consequences - you'll be more likely to do it. It's self-interest. It's the same reason why parents ground their kids for doing something bad. Kids don't like being grounded, so they're less likely to do that action again than if there parents were indifferent to their actions and never punished them. It's in the kid's own self-interest to not do that bad action.

I'm sure you knew that brutally beating someone was wrong four years ago. Just out of curiosity, why do you care about the well-being of torturers?

I do think that the more skills the better, but I'm not pissed about it. I'm glad it's F2P. I'll be to try it out and boost my total level. :)

There is also a Dungeons and Dragons monster called an Otyugh which looks very similar. [hide=][/hide] I agree with Gin. In games, books, and movies monsters are recycled all the time. At least they are creative enough to make things like Abyssal Demons and Bloodvelds. Some games offer nothing more than your cliched goblins and skeletons.

We? I never enslaved anyone. I think slavery is wrong. Why should something my great great grandparents have done, which I think is wrong, be used against me? It makes no sense at all. I =/= my grandparents. Just because we are both white does not mean I have the same point of views as them when it comes to slavery and black people. That's pretty prejudice if you ask me. EDIT4: By the way, I'm not saying that I want to use that word. I'm just saying whatever my grandparents did has nothing to do with me.
