If they are showing off a good achievement like 99 Runecrafting, then they are arrogant. If they are showing off a puny one like 60 Firemaking, then they are dumb. Bragging is a lose-lose situation here. That's not to say you shouldn't take pride in your achievements, but you shouldn't flaunt them around.

I got that project done yesterday. Today I just made some chili and played foosball, pool, and ping pong.

You're right, giving our opinions that we don't like her music isn't going to solve the problem much more than telling the entire world to keep their music down. But I see her as a bigger problem than loud music. Like I said, I'm fine with people blasting rap even though I don't like it. If I'm going to have to deal with loud music I don't like, then I'd really prefer if it wasn't her. It's not even really about her music that much, just the idea of her that irks me. She turned being a "rockstar" into being a barbie doll and I think it's fair to give my opinion that she sucks because of that. Every time I hear her, I get reminded of it. What if I see a poster of her? Would it be my sister's fault for not being considerate enough to keep it out of my view? Music should be a medium for creativity not fame, and I want the world to know that.

Favorite: I was really excited when I got my first 99 which was Woodcutting. Hated: When I got scammed out of my whip when they cost 3M. I just got it a few days ago and I loved it, then someone tricked me into the wild and gave me 3 cannon pieces. Man, was I a stupid kid. :lol:

Of course no one would mind if the song didn't absolutely suck though. Even though I don't like rap, I'd much rather hear that than Miley Cyrus, so people raising the volume is not the issue. Plus how are we supposed to change the fact that people listen to music loud? It's impossible. Slandering Cyrus, however, has the potential of informing the market that we don't want crap like that around.

What makes comparing dinosaurs (something obviously true) so different than comparing the tooth fairy (something obviously false)?

I do my homework in school which means it is technically classwork, yet I'm fully capable of retaining that information. I don't agree with homework at all, except for projects or reports. The tedious pointless exercises just waste my time. I can learn much easier on my own than by any teacher's method. Instead of doing a worksheet about psychology, I'd rather just look it up on the internet and do my own research. Not only that, but there is a lot of time wasted at school where the teacher doesn't have us do anything but sit there and stare at the wall - then gives us homework. Why couldn't it be classwork since we weren't doing anything anyways? I know that I still do it as "classwork" in my other classes but just the idea of it... I'm really starting to think that my school is just run by [developmentally delayed]s because all of your posts make your schools sound so much more organized than mine.

I use the word desensitize more often than your average person. I also like the words refurbish, obstruction, and recapitulation.

Agreed, there should be separation from religion in fields such as state and school. I don't know why we would have to be rational about everything though, like music, love, friendships, stories. Your heart is your best friend in these cases. I don't have a source, but I can say people who believe in god can have something to look forward to in the afterlife rather than the quite lonely thought of, "Is this all there is?"

Yeah they should, but I don't think many should be put onto the battlefield. My teacher who was in the army told me he wouldn't like it if he were fighting beside a woman because then he would feel a lot more obligated to save her butt rather than if it were a guy. To Shadow: That just means they need to fix their problems of the military ignoring the issue, not that we shouldn't draft women.
