  1. I think it's funny when someone thinks they have better skills than you because one of their levels are higher.
  2. People just naturally have irrational views on many things, just because their friends feel that way and they don't want to be left out. A prime example would be homosexuality. If you think about it, there's nothing wrong about it yet it's one of the biggest taboos in the world. A lot of people just don't want to be seen supporting gay rights.
  3. RS music lol. I guess my pick would be Autumn Voyage since it brings back old school memories.

I'm not sure about that. I think you're just looking at the kids around your age and they all grew out of it. Emo is a strong trend amongst young teenagers (Middle School).
  5. If you assume that there is nothing bad about RWT then you are also assuming that Jagex just made that rule for no reason. It's not a strawman, it's called the transitive property. Tell me, if you think Jagex has a reason, but it isn't because it has a negative effect, then what reason do you think they had? Then why bring up the good stuff he's done? It's not relevant whether RWT is bad or not. I don't think you get the point. I'm saying that if we just make this into a battle of "you did a logical fallacy" "you did too" then we're getting nowhere and that takes away a lot from the discussion. I guess I can start by saying RWT almost caused RS to potentially shut down. That can't necessarily be good, can it?
  6. Probably getting burned by the stove. I can't stand burns. :-# Either that or getting my head bit open by a 200 lb dog. Still have the scars.
  7. You know, it's kinda hard to believe someone like you even tries to be cool on the interwebz. Anime is the quintessence of cool.
  8. Maybe you should be the one to elaborate on why you think Jagex makes rules for no apparent reason whatsoever. You can fling the burden of proof around all you want, but so can I. And can you show me where anyone said that legality = morality? Instead of acknowledging the point being made, you hide behind logical fallacies. Sorry to tell you this but the point still stands. Just because someone has done good, that doesn't excuse them to do bad. You're evading the point with a red herring.
  9. Because of the exterior detrimental effects it has attached to it. "Breaking the rules of an online game != immorality." Morality isn't something to bargain with. Hitler did good things for Germany's economy, but this doesn't excuse him for what else he's done. Besides, that type of remark is subjective and only boils down to opinion. An argument over that is like arguing whether Coke or Pepsi are better.
  10. I don't remember saying that it is morally wrong only because it is against the rules. You were the one to say that morality doesn't exist in video games. Interesting opinion. If it doesn't exist in video games, then surely it mustn't exist on forums either. If this is true, then why are you getting upset over someone calling someone else "scum"? It's not like it's immoral or anything. If you truly do have this everything-is-free-game-if-it's-on-the-computer mentality, then it would be wisest to be consistent with it.
  11. I've found relationship habits/tendencies to be far too embedded into one's personality to get somebody to change them. It's like trying to change a person's favorite food or music genre. There's just something irrational about love I guess. You can tell her, but I doubt you will see much of a change. It's always worth a try though, unless you have a lot to lose.
  12. If it were breaking any rule, I'd think it would be Bug Abuse, but it's no bug so I would say it isn't against the rules. (No promises though.)
  13. What's your point? That if murdering is legally wrong then that means it's not a case of immorality? If something has a negative effect on others, it has a negative effect on others, no matter how much you want to try to beat around the bush.
  14. I don't get it. One could just say: If God is able but not willing to stop good, God is good.
  15. You might wanna check the real definition of immoral, instead of conveniently fabricating your own.
  16. Since when does egocentricity negate immorality?
  17. I don't see the point in it either (except for pures obviously) but to each his own. As long as they don't log them in at the same time, it's not really hurting anyone. Some people have a weird obsession with collecting cabbage. Useless but harmless, so why stop them?

Just because you have trouble quitting, it doesn't mean everyone who says it's easy are "obviously not true smokers". Some people just have a harder time than others. I agree that they shouldn't be making fun of people who can't quit, but that certainly doesn't mean that they must not have any real experience.
  19. That's true, but you could always take a break from RS and come back in a couple decades. ;)

Cases of laced marijuana are actually quite rare. Plus there are lots of things holding them back from doing so. Not everyone has chemicals like that available to them. People don't always buy from the same dealer either. Besides, people tend to get angry if their dealer laces the stuff. Losing a customer's trust isn't a good thing. That's not to say that it doesn't happen, but it's definitely not a common thing at all.
