  1. You got a point there, but that's a very small scale problem if you're referring to RWT. 100 is still a lot of people - not that many people have 100 friends to fill up all the spots. It's the equivalent of trading 60k whenever your trade limit time runs restarts. Technically it makes RWT possible, but not on the level that it is a detriment to the overall game.
  2. Exactly. You'd think being nice and being modest go hand in hand but some posts in this thread definitely say otherwise. [it gets even worse when someone brags about being modest.] I wouldn't even call it being nice - I'd call it purposely trying to establish a reputation as a "righteous person". The point in being nice shouldn't just be to say, "Ha - I'm a kind person! I helped someone a year ago, therefore I'm nice!" Niceness shouldn't be measured in the deeds you do - but by how you live your life. A genuine nice person is consistent in their actions. Do a bad deed, and you're canceling out a good one.
  3. ^^ I brought up sleeping but I completely forgot about drugs. Well since heroin is the closest thing to being asleep and being asleep is the closest thing to being dead then I guess death must feel a lot like heroin. :-#
  4. How do you beat Pokemon 100%? Get every Pokemon to level 100 or just have them in your Pokedex?
  5. I don't think there really can be a happy-medium in this situation. Sure some parents are more balanced than others but look who we're talking about here: children. As a child, I got really ticked off at my parents when they didn't give me what I wanted. I was irrational as hell. And when I see other kids interact with their parents I see a very similar pattern. Be a little strict and they will think you're terrible - be a little lenient and they will think you're a joke. Ahh, kids... gotta em.
  6. I don't see how a 'first come, first served' policy wouldn't suffice.
  7. Yes, nothing more than a potential of life. You know, a woman is preventing potential lives from existing by not having a child every year. Yet nothing suggests that it is a sin to not bare children every single time you are able to.
  8. The thread doesn't belong to you - it belongs to the community which is moderated by the staff of this site. Nothing says that users should be able to remove posts on threads they created because staff members are in a much better position to do that than just any old poster.
  9. Actually he did say that. How isn't it relevant though? I see it as a bad argument of why gays shouldn't marry because that's saying that infertile couples shouldn't marry either.
  10. Not me. The only time I can remember starting to really enjoy music was with the whole nu-metal thing (Limp Bizkit, Korn, etc). Add bands like RATM, APC and Tool into the mix and those are the kind of things I originally got into. Wow, that situation is very identical to mine. I never cared that much about music until I was about 7 or 8 then after listening to radio rock I really got into it. I've never liked something even remotely close to the Jonas Brothers even at that age. I mean, we didn't have the Jonas Brothers ten years ago but Christina Aguilera and NYSNC existed and I hated them both. In fact, I remember pretending to like NYSNC just to get along with this one kid so he would give me free popsicles and ice cream.
  11. Oh you are very welcome. : I think it's possible to both fear and love your parents. My folks can get pretty scary sometimes but I still respect them and it that scare tactic is probably one of the main reasons I never get into any trouble.
  12. Sitting down in public is illegal in Runescape. :shame:
  13. Korn - ADIDAS Metallica - Unforgiven III
  14. It isn't a sin to waste an egg. He made women that way so that there is a potential for life once a month. However, it is just a potential. As long as it is not deliberately being destroyed there is no harm done. But it still goes against God's plan to "not waste potential lives". If it's potential we're talking about then technically it all comes down to God since he makes everything in the universe happen. God is the one who chooses whether a potential live makes it or not. If God really didn't want us wasting lives unnecessarily, then why would he deliberately do it himself?
  15. ^^ I think he means that he would be the only person voting for Moose. I know what you were trying to do there though. ;)
  16. Snakeskin Boots because they are well worth the money when compared to Ranger Boots and the boosts aren't even that different.
  17. Before the year 2010, I want to get: -80 in all Skills -99 Fishing -99 Strength -99 Attack -99 Magic -99 Hitpoints -99 Prayer -2200 Total EDIT: I'm probably not gonna get any of those. lol
  18. Okay, about the procreation argument, I don't get what's so wrong about "spilling your seed". If you ask me it's like stepping through grass. Yeah you're killing lots of plants and bugs but they are so insignificant that it barely matters. Most of your sperm just goes to waste anyways. You can say that sex is for the sole purpose of procreation but I don't see how going against that can be considered bad. Eating is for the sole purpose of survival but if we eat a few sweets it's not considered bad.
  19. It's the thought that counts.
  20. Every cloud has a silver lining though. Who's to say that all of those bad things aren't necessary for the good things to flourish? Maybe those things have their own purpose (without death there would be overpopulation). Anyways, you're just looking at the bad parts of life. It's just as easy to focus on the great things too like music, art, love, food, friends, you name it.
  21. Full Bandos I'd say. I'd much rather have the extra Defence bonus plus the extra cash you get to keep from using Barrows instead.
